We have been travelling through Mexico for 3 weeks and Hotel Encantada was the worst experience at all. The room was very noisy, the bus station is just across the street and the whole time we were listening to a machine announcing bus arrivals and departures. There was no balcony. The reception staff was absolutely useless, they were not able to help us, tourists, to arrange anything. Not even to advise where we can buy a bottle of water in the middle of night when we arrived. And the oxxo shop was just around the corner! On top of this all, after checking out in a hurry, I realized I forgot a shirt in our room and my friend forget her cosmetics. I immediately asked the receptionist to check and give it back to us. They asked the cleaning lady, she claimed to know nothing and find nothing. I believe I was pretty insistent and still, they did not return our stuff. So the cleaning lady or the reception staff either stole our things or threw ithem away and did not confess to either. I would NOT recommend to anyone to stay in this useless stealing place.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, lots of palm trees, flowers, birds - during a day that's a quiet paradise. But at night... Sweet Jesus, there are two bars next to the hotel, and you can hear them both PERFECTLY. If you are a night person and won't be in bed until 2am, you're good. But if you dare to try sleep a little earlier, you may be a little bit distracted. Rather than that, the hotel, facilities, people, service, location - everything is awesome.

10/10 recommend!! This hotel is truly great. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because I think for some the rooms could be tidier/less sp****. Now onto the good stuff... The location and amenities of this place are hard to beat for the price. It is located right off Avenida 5 and right near some convenience stores. All the action, the perfect beach, and incredible restaurants are a few mins walk in any direction. The pool is super lovely and in an open atrium in the middle of the hotel. Its a nice spot to unwind and still see the sky. The staff of this hotel really went the extra mile for my sister and I. They were always offering to help with whatever we were trying to do/with any questions we had. They were lovely and attentive - always a front desk person there 24/7.
