Son Brull Hotel & Spa

Have just returned from an amazing 10 day visit to this fabulous Hotel and, although we are ‘regulars’ here, one cannot fail to be in awe at the high standards in every department. From the minute one arrives at Son Brull you are guaranteed to be cosseted until the moment you leave as every member of the incredible Team knows the true meaning of Hospitality. Exquisite food is created at the 365 Restaurant and the Bistro and only the finest ingredients, mostly local, are used. Truly highly recommended.

We wanted to like this restaurant as friends go there from time to time. We ordered the tasting menu, but most of the courses were just disappointing. The cheese course was really amusing with three finger nail size pieces of cheese of a finger nail's thickness. Doubt we will return. Miceli, 20 minutes away, blew this away for half the price.

My husband and I recently spent 7 nights at Son Brull Luxury Hotel. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside in the Tramuntana mountains and is located 30 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes by car from Pollenca. It’s a stunning historic property that’s been converted into a boutique hotel and clearly had no expense spared in the quality of the architecture, fittings and landscaping. The grounds are extensive and the pool and terrace areas are peaceful and pleasant with a choice of sunloungers / daybeds and magnificent views. For such a relatively small hotel, Son Brull punches above its weight as far as dining options are concerned. This is both in terms of the variety of dining settings and also the extent of menu choices. Furthermore it’s feasible to eat more than once at the fine dining, fixed menu, 365 Restaurant as residents are able to choose from an alternate menu subject to 24 hours advance notice. A real standout at Son Brull is the people. Even before we arrived we were impressed with how quickly emails were turned around and arrangements handled. Every request throughout our stay was actioned perfectly by their lovely natured and helpful team. Overall we had a good stay however, there were a couple of negatives: Bedroom - wardrobe hanging space was practically non existent (only room for five hangers due to the way the wardrobe was constructed) and there was no dressing table with mirror which meant sitting on the edge of the bath to dry hair, apply make-up etc. This is not satisfactory in a hotel that has the price point of Son Brull. Local taxi service - it seems to be very hit and miss as to whether and when you are able to secure a taxi to and from the hotel. It’s apparently the case that taxis are only available to be ordered via an app and that no updates are provided as to when the taxi will arrive. Neither are they pre-bookable in advance. We had to cancel a dinner reservation in Pollenca due to the hotel being unable to secure a taxi for us. On one occasion, we also waited more than half an hour at the taxi rank in Pollenca to return to the hotel at 1pm in the afternoon. Maybe the hotel could consider providing a local shuttle service to give guests certainty of travel to and from Pollenca.

Peaceful Mallorca. Nice, peaceful location. With great staff, food and wine. Awesome boutique hotel.

Disappointing experience at this hotel considering who owns it. The setting is superb. Peaceful and beautiful. The room was very nice with a great balcony. However, the bath is in the middle of the room which is fine but there is nowhere to put the shower gel. This has been overlooked. Because of this the shower gel smashed on the floor and was not replaced. We were left with a broken bottle for the rest of our stay despite advising them. The breakfast is ok. It’s very healthy and could do with slightly more options for those of us who don’t come on holiday to be healthy! The pool area needs attention. The decking is uneven in places and I stubbed my toe. The decking surrounding the pool is a wasp oasis. Unfortunately, I hate wasps. When I finally found a safe spot to enter, the pool was cold. We have a pool at home so I am well aware of how 24/26 degrees feels. I did not feel comfortable having to walk down to the restaurant area from my lounger where people were having leisurely lunches to ask for a drink or another towel. Maybe, a buzzer service would be more appropriate. Jumeirah has this and it works well. A tip I would give is to order a taxi an hour before you need it

Quiet literally one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I stayed here after traveling with a group of friends in Europe. Staff was incredible and service was top notch. Beautiful grounds. I ended up staying an additional night and they upgraded me to a Villa!

This is our second time visiting Son Brull, we were not disappointed on our return. The hotel lived up to what we remembered. The setting is beautiful with the hotel being maintained fantastically. Breakfast and lunch were both unreal both days. The complementary Prosecco in the room was a lovely gift. On checking in the staff were very attentive and did all they could to help, with our room being ready 3 hours before check in. A couple of things let down our stay, the first being that the service at the pool was very hit and miss, some days you received water and this was topped up throughout the day and also offered if they could get anything else however other times staff wouldn’t come over for 4 hours. It wouldn’t take much for this to be improved and make a real difference. Additionally, we had our evening meal in the hotel, again service was very slow taking our orders. Once we received the two steaks they were near enough raw then once sent back they were significantly overdone. When we tried to order room service, we were told this wasn’t available even though we were before the 11pm cut off. Overall a wonderful trip and we would definitely return however these small changes would make a large difference.

Our stay at Son Brull was nothing short of magical. We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary getaway at this exquisite hotel nestled in the heart of the countryside. The property and all its amenities were truly top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the indulgent spa treatments, as well as the exceptional breakfast and dinner at the 365 restaurant, which offered a 5-star dining experience. The customer service was excellent, making us feel warmly welcomed and pampered throughout our stay. I highly recommend Son Brull for anyone seeking a luxurious and serene escape.
