Club Wyndham Palm-Aire

This was the most enlightening Wyndham resort. So informative. We purchased a timeshare in 2023, but because we purchased a very basic and minimal package (not presented like this when we bought it) we were always approached for those "mandatory meetings". Here we said no. Thankfully, there's a gal named Christy. She personally called me, wanted to get to know our family better and told me a whole lot about her background and family. If it was true, we shall never know, but she said I could set a timer for 30 minutes and be done with the "mandatory meeting". They had to tell us about these updates or they themselves would get dinged and in trouble. We went, the person had no idea what I was talking about with pre arrangements, but they tried to upgrade us again for the 3rd time this year at a resort. It lasted 2 hours, we tried to walk out and they made excuses again. They are VERY good at their job to manipulate your mind. They even use multiple colors on paper to be confusing, they bring in different people. They say this is the ONLY opportunity to upgrade....we have been offered the same upgrade multiple times....its lie after lie. They are super nice and engaging until you don't want something and then they aren't nice anymore. Christy, also ghosted us.....she was the catcher at the front desk and we saw her around. She knew who we were and she acted like she had no idea. This whole thing is a huge scam, and thankfully, we sold our Wyndham back and someone else purchased it. We are not timeshare holders anymore...Oh wait! It's not a "timeshare". wink wink. Go ahead customer service rep and send this on up the chain like your copy and pastes below. We all know how this goes.

We visited as an RCI exchange with the plan to play some golf and to play golf. Our daughter and her boyfriend joined us for the week. Unfortunately, the date in early October coincided with God’s plan of another hurricane for Florida. Our fishing trip got canceled twice and our round of golf was good until the 12th hole, when we got a heavy batch of rain, but finished the round regardless. The seafood restaurants were outstanding and the other entertainment venues were enjoyable. Having a rental car was very helpful as well. We are considering returning in April for another week!

Stayed here on vacation in pompano. This is an excellent beachside location with a seaside pool and full service bar. Staff is friendly and Wyndham always delivers outstanding service. Very clean and maintained. Thank you will return again

We enjoyed staying here and looking forward to coming again. Walmart and Grocery with other eating places are ideally located close by.

Beautiful resort. Our stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed our 2 bedroom condo. There were only 3 of us staying for our week trip but there is Plenty of room for 8 people to stay. We love having a full kitchen to make our breakfasts in the morning. We enjoyed the amenities. Swimming pool and water slide. Mini Golf, ping pong, pool table and pool bar.

We had an amazing time at Wyndham Palm Aire. It is a gated resort which is very safe. The grounds are beautiful. Our unit was nicely updated and sparkling clean. The unit’s large size, modern appliances and in-unit washer-dryer were all great features. The multiple pool complexes were beautiful. After a long day of golfing, it was nice to get in the hot tub and pool to melt away all muscle soreness. We really liked the automated towel machines near the pool (you use your bracelet room key to open the machine to get and return your beach towels) which were always fully stocked. The gym complex is large with many machines; it’s also sparkling clean. There’s also a well-maintained mini-golf course and volleyball court but we didn’t have time to use them unfortunately. The staff was very friendly and always smiling or saying hello. Our favorite feature: the resort is 4 miles from the beach, but they give you a parking pass to park at their 2 sister resorts right on Pompano Beach near the Pier. The Pompano Beach area is beautiful with great shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back!!

Hotel was clean, friendly staff. Lots of activities to do with the kids. We went for nice walks in the afternoons around the lake close to the hotel. Played basketball, golf, volleyball, went to the pool (fun slide), hotel had daily events and lots more!! Had an amazing time with my family. The beach was only 10-15mins away via car. A+

The resort is dated (has an early 2000's vibe). The rooms, however, are very spacious and nicely decorated. Kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the master which is huge, and again it's an outdated feature. We asked for a pool view (which we got) but unfortunately, the pool isn't anything like you see in the photos. The larger of the two pools has too much nonsense going on that you can't even enjoy the pool. Not to mention, it's very dated. We overlooked the smaller pool, which was fine, but it's also dated and not a place we wanted to spend any of our time. Most of the balconies have a lot of noticeable rust. The crowd is ROUGH! Seems like a more "budget friendly" resort - more like an old Embassy Suites. Property seems to cater to groups of younger adults. We had two groups smoking **** non-stop right outside of our balcony, talking way to loud using profanity and complete disregard for others staying at the resort. The front desk team were awesome. The check in was easy and fast. We were greeted every day as we left and returned to the resort. I did appreciate that there was a curfew each night (I believe at 10) to close down the pool, volleyball court and mini golf -all located outside of our unit. And lastly, the continuous calls from the resort to do a presentation was so annoying. We just signed up for the RCI program in December '23. Why this company thinks we need to "upgrade" is so ridiculous. I witnessed one poor guest almost in tears begging the team to stop calling her cell phone. Very unprofessional. While I won't stay at this resort again, the value and the size of the rooms were amazing. There are two other Wyndam resorts located at the Pompano Beach area but unfortunately, they seem always be booked. We visited both of those beach side resorts, and the property is a lot nicer and the crowd a lot better! There is a Harrah's ****** right across the street in an area getting built up called The Pomp. That was the best part of this resort.

Wyndham timeshare is not worth the money, fees or lack of availability. Most sales are based on lies. Cannot sell, ever! Can access most of Wyndham properties via usual booking sites and save yourself the hassle and ongoing costs. Cheaper to go just about anywhere in the world for an all inclusive week than the cost of the annual fees.
