The accommodation was really spacious and clean - had booked a family room at a price of a double room due to a system error but the owners honored the booking so it was like a free upgrade for us. Toilet was handicap friendly and there was hot water! The guest house also served amazing beers - tried the tasting paddle and enjoyed the aussie pale ale best. a family of rabbits visited us in the front yard as well, very cute. Will definitely stay again when visiting Port Campbell.

The best youth hostel on the Great Ocean Road. Very satisfied. The beer is delicious and made by myself.

The hotel is okay and very convenient. There is a kitchen and restaurant on the first floor. It is very lively. The town is not big and everyone gets off work after dark. There are only two streets in the whole town. There is a supermarket that closes at 7pm. It is very quiet. The gas station is always open and sells food.

It's in the middle of nowhere. Not much to do But it is well located on the Great Ocean Road. Close to the 12 Apostles and London Bridge so quite nice

We were only there 1 night, as our tour company for the great ocean road tour booked us in. Room was excellent, very big, bed huge, bathroom lovely and all spotless. There were no tea making facilities in the room, but we were able to go and make our own in the kitchen. We did not have food there so cannot comment. Everyone was very friendly. It was close to Great Ocean Road.

No bathroom or toilet in room.reception very terse bordering on rude. Stairs and no lift. No tea faicilties in room. Great kitchen for common use. Very much like a backpackers but $220 for two people one night. Got 2 $4 supermarket microwave pizzas and a apple cider for $48. Everything has bloared prices. Never again. Have had much better for much less money

Pros + Close to great ocean road sceneries (example 12 apostles) + nice rooms + nice restaurant + great kitchen, clean and have everything you need Cons - Toliets were a bit dirty - weren’t allowed to have own alcohol in the hostel because of the bar in the building

The location in Port Campbell is fine and the room is decent enough - though breakfast would have been nice. My main grouse is that my booking was almost cancelled. I am a pensioner and my phone isn't connected to the internet 24/7. On the morning of the booking, I received an email just 5 minutes before I set off to say that my card issuer had "declined" payment and that I needed to pay by midday or my booking would be cancelled. Note that if that email had been sent 5 minutes later, I would not have received it. Why not do this a day or two earlier? Anyway, I rang him and then offered him three different cards all of which he said were declined. (They all work elsewhere - could the problem be at his end??) He then accused ME of taking the mickey. Fortunately the 4th card worked but his attitude was rude and frankly unprofessional.

Likes: * Heater + fan provided in rooms * Rooms are spacious with plenty of room for bags etc. * Pillow protectors + bedding are clean, soft and comfy * Free (1) beer if you stay 2+ nights * Close to lots of local attractions * Parking on site * Powder room to get ready * The guy who runs the brewery / pizza is super nice and chatty Dislikes: * House rules are quite strict - want us out the hostel during the day (there is lots to do locally, but we just thought this was strange) also can only shower at certain times etc. * There are fridges for you to store cold food but no where specific to store dry foods Improvements: * Wifi downstairs sucks and no wifi upstairs in bedrooms - there are notices around the hostel saying this will happen eventually, but we were shocked it wasn’t already a thing

Amazing interior design, unique layout, spotlessly clean room, toilets and showers. Hot showers worked amazingly. Warm blankets and heater provided. Friendly and helpful manager. Delicious $12 pizzas, craft beer and common room board games were a bonus. Though we didn’t use it, other guests said the shared kitchen was extremely well equipped.

Lovely stay during a busy first weekend out of lockdown. We stayed in a private room which was massive, could have fit 4-5 people. We were able to bring our dog (had to ask first but responses were quick and friendly) without paying extra for a pet cleaning fee. Don't expect a full service hotel room however, there was only one wall-fixed soap dispenser, no toiletries/shampoo or hair dryer, hand/face towels, etc. It is very much a nicely decorated private room in a hostel. No food or drinks allowed in the room either, so you have to eat in the communal area. No bar fridge/coffee/tea making facilities in the room either. Definitely go elsewhere if you're looking for a hotel experience. Full service kitchen with multiple sinks and everything you need on the outside, and the lounge / bar area was so cute and comfy with tons of books/games/even a puzzle to work on. About 2 minutes walk from the beach and a great little spot to explore great ocean road from. Port Campbell itself is a tiny little town and this hostel is definitely one of the best places to stay while you're there. The hotel manager was fun to talk to, and you get a free drink on arrival!

Great amenities with plenty of areas to lounge around, sit outside and a big kitchen. I had a private room which was small but comfortable and great for a night and good value compared to most places. This seemed a well managed place with many 'rules' on notices but also it felt well run and clean and safe because of this.
