Eix Alcudia Hotel Adults Only

Excellent hotel. I would go again. Would recommend to others. Don't expect luxury and swanky things you don't need. This is a perfect example of using what you have, and doing it well.

We booked this hotel through TUI. The hotel was conveniently located (5 mins walk to the beach) and a short walk to the bus stop to Old Town (bus 324). The room we had was on the fourth floor and was very quiet. It wasn’t facing the pool and you got the sun later afternoon/ early evening. The room was comfortable and air conditioned- although it made a rumbling noise it didn’t stop us getting sleep. The breakfast had a good selection - pastries, hot food and yoghurt. The cereal was a bit dry but on the whole we enjoyed it. You could eat by the pool which was nice. We managed to get seats but typically people do reserve them with their towels despite this not being allowed. The hotel was adults only so the pool area was quiet and good for a dip. There are two pools - one which is better for swimming and another that is like a lagoon. It was very good for relaxing and open late so you could enjoy a swim post 6pm. There was evening entertainment (singers) who were good and stopped about 11. When we didn’t watch them, we couldn’t hear them from our room. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helped us with bus directions. We got a welcome drink on arrival. We joined the BBQ which was lovely. A good selection of meats. There were salad options and rice and Mediterranean vegetables for vegetarians but don’t expect any options from the BBQ. However the salad was lovely and plenty of dessert options. We paid extra as we weren’t all inclusive and it was worth the 16.50 euros each. All in all, conveniently located, plenty of opportunities to relax by the pool and enjoy a leisurely stroll to the beach. Would stay again and would recommend the hotel. Only minor improvement would be to have a small kettle in the bathroom. Also, our room had two twin beds rather than a double which is probably normal.

Superb place to stay . Clean, Tranquil, Relaxing ,Food is Excellent, Staff extremely polite and Helpful. I could not recommend the Eix Hotel Could enough to anyone looking for a carefree place to stay. Location is perfect within walking distance to the Beach. Yet extremely quite at night. Will be back whenever possible.

This was our second visit to the Eix Alcudia as we decided to give it a second chance with being so conveniently situated to the main town. We paid when we booked for a pool view room but feel we wasted money in doing so. We were delighted to be greeted by Monolo on reception who remembered us as was as adorable and happy and smiling as always. Monolo is the very very best and most friendliest welcoming member of staff as is Xandier on reception during the night. Emilio At reception was always smiling too and very nice. They are the glue to this hotel and the only two who made us feel incredibly welcome. The bar seems to be so slow serving and even when you are the only one at the bar it takes ages as they are too busy talking to each other which makes service so so slow and we find this very rude and very unprofessional. The smoking area out the front is much the same with ash trays constantly overflowing and used glasses on the table. Disgraceful and not at all acceptable. A lot of the waiting staff are different to the staff of last year and the atmosphere in the dining room at breakfast is not at all friendly or welcoming, somber faces and no happiness or smiles from staff or at the bar apart from the main bar man. Gabriella Is always so stoney faced just like she was last year and again I find this very rude and ignorant which is such a shame as the hotel clearly relies on guests else they wouldn’t be here. They seem to be very short staffed and tonight guests were having to go to reception to tell them nobody was at the bar and they had been waiting some time. Bad service ! Breakfast is always really good and plentiful with a good wide range for all, a chef cooking fresh eggs, omelettes and pancakes so faultless food, if staff smiled at breakfast time or even said good morning it would be nice. I wouldn’t eat evening meals after last year as they are not nice and very little choice. The cafe just down the road from the hotel is great and serves nice food and they are so very nice and so welcoming at all times. They seem to make their own rules up at the hotel it says no own drink by the pool yet on our last night late at night to tell us off for having our own coffee and apologised it was their error that they hadn’t made the rules clear. If you have rules tell people ! This morning when we checked out around 10.30 there was nobody at the bar as we needed a soft drink so I had to go to reception to say there was nobody at the bar so reception had to ring through and eventually a lady came to the bar! We come on holiday to relax and rest and not to be told off like we are children, after all it’s an adults hotel and we are adults. Towels are always on sunbeds around the pool early even though they are not meant to be. A guest broke her leg and they didn’t seem to help her at all so we helped her to get to her room. Poor lady and as she was struggling to even walk and hopping. This hotel even charged her extra

Fantastic from the start to the finish. High standards of cleanliness, bed very comfortable, clean towels daily . No sun bed wars! Staff are very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Excellent choice of food at Breakfast, we also went to the BBQ on the Tuesday again great choice and excellent value for money.

Fantastic hotel, very clean and tidy. All staff were wonderful throughout our stay. Hotel food was so nice and plentiful it was a pleasure to eat there. Would recommend to everyone I know. 10 out of 10 from start of our holiday to the last minute. Lovely atmosphere, it was so peaceful and relaxing.
