Holiday Inn - the Niu, Amity Potsdam, an IHG Hotel Reviews

This is new hotel, conveniently located very close to the central train station in Potsdam. Take the exit to Friedrich-Engels-Straße, turn right and you already see the new nice looking building about 300 m away on the other side of the street "Lange Brücke" (long bridge). The reception and breakfast area is on the first floor (Erdgeschoss), well lighted with large windows. Everything looks new, nice and neat. (No worries, no smell at all from construction materials or new furniture, also not in the corridors or in my room). The standard room I booked is small with minimalistic furniture, but I like it simple anyway. The tiles in the bathroom are real cool and nice looking, so is the carpet and color arrangement in the floors. The staff was friendly, but you need to be a bit patient, as several if them are new and still being trained on the software to check in. 😊 No doubt, next trip to Potsdam I will chose the same hotel.

I booked the hotel two weeks ago, and clicked cancel booking in 3mins, but been told I can’t cancel it. Why I cancel? After I booked hotel, I found my colleague booked it as well, I can share room with my colleague, so I need to cancel. It’s not reasonable to stop me cancel room in 3 mins. I emailed hotel and talked to booking platform, all rejected me. This is really disappointing.

I recently stayed at Niu and had a wonderful experience. The location was convenient, and the hotel offered excellent amenities. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Niu for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location! Just cross the road from the train station! It's also very clean! But the staff would throw away my water bottle every day🥹🥹 There is a deposit for the water bottle

I stayed here for 6 nights for a class in Potsdam. It's very convenient to walk to the train station in 5 minutes. It's hard to find a newly opened hotel in Germany. The hardware facilities are very new. The room is not big but it's more than enough for one person. The price-performance ratio is also very satisfactory

Although the two beds are next to each other, the mattresses are separated. People who want to keep a little distance can ignore it
