Great stay experience! Environment: Located in the castle area, it is a very simple building. You must take a taxi, otherwise the stone road and the uphill road will be unfriendly to suitcases. Facilities: The room is very large and well-equipped. There are restaurants, pharmacies, and attractions nearby. It is suitable for long-term stays.

The hotel is located quite far from the center, about 20 minutes by tram, but the tram stop is nearby, so getting to the center is not a problem. The hotel has a parking lot where you can leave your car for 15 euros (currently free). The rooms are new, spacious and quite clean. It's a pity that there are no disposable slippers. There are sets for making tea and coffee, a kitchenette with an oven and stove.

GGuest User 2023.06.08
This place is just dirty. The carpet flooring is thin and shaggy. The bathrooms are tiny––there is no storage for any toiletries so you basically need to keep everything in your bag. There was mold in the bathroom near the shower area on the ceiling. The shower head was dirty. When I arrived, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was making a hissing noise, so I decided to take a look at it. I unscrewed the front cover, and it railed thick dust all over the bathroom. The cleanliness is really disappointing, especially when a lot of these issues could be fixed with more thorough cleaning and some preventative maintenance. Other than that, the rooms are small. The twin beds in the rooms are so close, it may as well be one bed. The cabinets and shelving are built in, and they make the room feel really cramped. Overall, the whole place is pretty bad. Nothing about it is pleasing or enjoyable, and the pool comes at an extra fee. The place earns an extra star because the location is great, and it provides a great jumping off point to see the beautiful city of Prague. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in a lot of different countries. I'd say this is the worst one I've seen. I'm sure you can find a fairly comparable place that actually cleans their rooms.

Unexpected Experience 1- Inferior hotel in everything, welcoming, rooms facilities, breakfast, and amenities. 2- No quality standard of even three stars hotel. 3- Unprofessional receptionists with ridiculous and illogical justifications. They tried to convenience me that all hotels in Prague 1 are of the same quality, which is not valid. 4- Extream short bed covers 5- No regular maintenance at all 6- No safety precautions, especially inside rooms, as the design of the protruded wall caused an injury for me. It should be covered with a rubber strap as it is extremely unsafe; no argument could be made. 7- No value of the paid money from fiscal perspective. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

I regularly stay in this hotel on my business trips and I really love the place. The rooms of all types are very spacious, super clean, with very comfortable beds and some of them on the higher floors offer the most amazing view of the city. Breakfast offers high quality food and big range of meals and when the weather allows there is a lovely quiet garden for you to enjoy your meal outside. The hotel itself is located in a very elegant area that gives you both the benefits of quiet and very safe place and easy access to the most desirable tourist spots that can be easily reached by the public transport as both the bus and tram stop right in front of it. But my biggest praise goes the hotel staff as they are the most helpful, welcoming and kind people you can wish for to meet while travelling. They really make you feel most welcomed and at home, are anytime ready to help you or give you an advice you may need on your trip. Those people are the biggest and friendliest professionals I have met through my travel experience and I can not thank them enough for making every stay in this hotel the most memorable and pleasant experience.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and the services offered were excellent. Everyone was nice and available at any time to help us. When we arrived they gave us a map of the city and a list of restaurants, plus buses timetables when we asked. Breakfast was delicious and the variety of foods offered was great. It is about 10 mins from the river and from one of the yellow subway stops. Definitely recommend.

Went to Prague on the 4th of October, staying somewhere else on the 5th and returning back on the 6th, (two nights in total in the God Bank hotel) We travelled over for a football match out-with Prague. We had left match tickets you mistake in the hotel, we didn’t have enough time to return to Prague to collect the tickets. After contacting the staff at the Gold Bank, they came to our rescue by sending individual pictures of all the tickets, this allowed us to get them reprinted at the football stadium. We are very grateful. The staff were courteous and professional from the moment arrived, we all enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this Hotel, it’s only a short walk to the train station, bus station, bars and restaurants.

Wonderful stay we had in a charming 40sm appartement. Perfectly cleaned, soundproof and amazing thermic isolation. Regarding the location is perfect for a typical local experience far from the OVERCROWDED central streets and main sightseeing but easy and fast connections by metro and tramway in 20min max. The staff was very kind specially a young guy upon check out time on our last night (Saturday 4th Nov). We'll stay absolutely here for our next trip to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We highly recommend to assist to Opera concerts as they're very cheap comparing to western European countries.

My spouse, my friends, and I stayed 2 nights for Canada Day weekend at Mama Shelter prague. It's in a great location, short transit to old Town Prague with multiple ways of getting there. Bolt, scooters, tram, or even walking works as well. Staff was friendly, except for when we got back to our hotel room on Saturday night. The door was left open by house keeping and luckily nothing was stolen. A woman staff member at the front didn't believe what I told her, so we showed her and said something would be done about it. Upon checking out, there were no notes, and nothing was done. So definitely a lack of professionalism by the night staff. Breakfast was excellent with alot of choices. It's a buffet and is open from 7am to 1030am most days. Food was fresh and 0 issues. The room was clean and spacious. King size bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was okay, but could've been better. 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. So it was a comfortable stay for us. Overall, definitely worth the money you pay to have everything included. I still believe the hotel parking should be included into the price like in North America.

We liked the stay at the hotel in general, we were very lucky that it was not very hot in Prague, since the hotel did not have air conditioning. On the plus side, the location of the hotel was quite convenient, there were metro and trams nearby, there were delicious breakfasts and spacious, clean rooms, the guys and I were delighted, the cool guy Anuar always smiled at the reception and we even invited him to drink beer with us, but unfortunately he did not agree ((( Helped me find the club we were looking for and suggested the way to the main attractions, I rate the hotel 5

GGuest UserA friend I spent 4 nights at this hotel whilst visiting another friend and seeing the sights in Prague. In terms of location, the hotel is a little out of the main centre (15 min walk approx). However it still feels very central due to how large Prague is and sprawls out. The hotel is not dated but doesn’t seem particularly modern either. It has a very simplistic feel. Staff are polite in the reception upon arrival. It has a very small lobby area with seating, vending machines and toilets hidden away. This area could get crowded easily. The rooms themselves are basic. They are clean and tidy, have decent beds, a small desk and a wardrobe. Numerous charging sockets are available which is nice and there is a TV. Unfortunately, there is no safe or mini fridge which did feel like a small hindrance. The bathroom is not spacious but is once again clean and tidy. Towels are replenished daily and small toiletries are provided. The hotel offers breakfast which was included within our booking. The breakfast is very basic. Cereals, fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese and some boiled eggs is all it has to offer. However, the coffee and drinks machines were in good working order and the staff worked hard. Overall, this hotel offers a simple, easy and affordable stay in Prague. You get what you pay for but I was satisfied with the overall value. The additions of a safe, mini fridge and a more comprehensive breakfast would pay dividends though.

LLxue inWe as a family with 2 kids stayed in the hotel for Easter holiday, you cannot expect any better regarding the location, the old town square is literally at your doorstep, you also have more than plenty of cafes and restaurants, we didn't cook at all for the 4 nights stay. It is easy access to any attraction, by walk, maybe a bit of walk to Prague castle, but in the good weather, we don't mind it. You will need to pay extra for daily clean, or if you stay more than 5 days, you can get free cleaning. It has 2 small lifts, which is necessary and convenient. ***Pack your own hair conditioner, as it is not provided.

GGuest UserFantastic location. Between museum and IP pavlova tram/train stops. Great interior, beautiful and grand in communal areas. Rooms nicely decorated. W Beds a little hard. Staff polite, friendly and helpful. Downside to rooms, lack of plug sockets - Kettle has a short lead and difficult to find where to plug in. Not enough bed pillows. That said, we did not ask reception for more. They did not replenish the tea/coffee during stay. Only the milks. We could only find one plug socket. We found a further two sockets behind the bedside cabinets. We plugged our charger in only for this to burn out one night and the electricity went out and due to the new evening receptionist she was unable to turn it back on until she was relived in the morning. The receptionist though was ever so helpful and tried her best to help. We also received an apology in the morning. I have a bad back and found that there was no where to sit in the room with back support only a backless stool and ottoman. All that said we enjoyed our stay. Was very happy with our choice of hotel. We did not book breakfast and there’s lots of choice for breakfast towards IP pavalova. The Deminka restaurant that is shown in the hotel as the lounge bar - apparently is not connected to the hotel (ownership different) but would recommend. Good food reasonably priced and staff are very friendly and helpful. Also popular with locals too which is a good sign and has great history attached to the restaurant.

GGuest UserLa Boutique is placed a bit outside the centre of Prague, but within short distance from the channel. Its also a short distance to several pubs, bars, restaurants and also short distance to the tram, which travels all over in Prague. The reception was very service minded and its always someone there to guide you. We had a room on the 4th floor, big, nice room with good beds and a big bathroom. We felt the room was very comfy. The breakfast is simple but more than enough in the morning, and the food was tasty. They dont have any transport service for the airport, but we got a taxi both ways, between 650 and 800 chk. When we wanted to see Prague we either took a tram (22) or we walked down to the channel and from there over some of the bridges. We enjoyed our stay here.
