We arrived by car at this new, modern hotel. We could easily park the car in one of the free parking spaces in the fenced area in front of the impressive building. At the reception we were welcomed by a lady who was top friendly and super professional at the same time. When we checked in, we immediately felt warmly welcome. We were given valuable tips for our stay in the city, and we were also helped to book a table for dinner when seats in the restaurants were scarce because of the weekend. The spacious rooms have a creative design. At the same time, they are very homely. Everything is absolutely clean. The beds are comfortable with pleasant pillows. Air conditioning and rain shower are of course also part of the great equipment. At breakfast, we were equally welcomed by brilliant staff who complemented the rich, high-quality buffet with perfect service. We will be back!

Hotel in ztl, open to the hotel to find the front desk for 20 dollars valet parking, eliminate ztl records. The hotel facilities are superb, in line with the five-star standard, the 60-minute free spa is super comfortable, you can use the massage pool and two saunas, the breakfast is very good, you can see the chef is very attentive. The room is very characteristic and not at all. The hotel is the best photo point to climb up to the opposite rock church for five minutes, behind the church is the ancient cave.

The hotel has a very nice lobby and common areas; the comfortable, clean rooms, drawing attention to some details (like air conditioning not work, a little noisy). The hotel has a parking area, and the hotel has a parking area.

Worst experience in staying in independent accommodation. Left in the rain for 1 hour. Tried 18 calls not answered A very unpleasant man turned up and yelled at us in Italian. We felt very intimidated. When we went out we believe someone entered the room and turned off all lights and heating. Nice room but it’s in an apartment not a hotel like pictures make you believe. Next morning 1/2 hour before check out we returned back and the angry man was waiting for us. Yelling about lights left on. This was a small bathroom light we’d missed when we went for a walk. He virtually threw us out of the hotel. Standing in front of the bedroom window making us very uncomfortable. Very very unpleasant stay.

Magical location in a magical city. Spectacular view from our room across the valley to the cave-filled hillside. It was quiet at night even though close to several tourist attractions. The room, built into an existing cave, was very comfortable and attractive. The staff were very helpful, especially Roberto who gave us excellent ideas for how to explore the city. You can’t park anywhere in the old city of Matera, but the hotel picked us up at the parking garage - just a 5 or 10 minute wait.

Excellent Hotel with a amazing view and room! The lady in the front desk was excellent w great recommendations for us. Nadi restaurant was YUM! Out stay was perfect and the room was spacious and very unique and comfortable! My stay was amazing! Shower was great! Breakfast was very nice too!

We had a wonderful time at La Suite. It was a last minute switch from a luxury hotel too far out of town. We were so lucky to have found la Suite. It was a great location just off the pedestrian area, easy to walk anywhere, the Sassi entry points and the many good restaurants in Matera. Particularly handy in the recurrent rain we faced. The staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants etc. Its a great base in Matera. Only hiccup was a bit slow breakfast on the last day when they didn't have many guests and everyhing had to be pre-ordered and a slight miscommunication on the laundry - it showed up finally. All in all a lovely place.

Due settimane fa abbiamo tenuto un corso di crescita personale e biodanza presso il vostro albergo che definire un gioiellino potrebbe sembrare riduttivo. A ridosso del centro storico ci ha permesso di vedere l'alba nei sassi. Nella graziosa sala attigua alla reception abbiamo svolto il corso teorico guidati dalla coach Antonella Moccia accuditi e coccolati da Sharon e Emily sempre disponibili ad ogni richiesta, e di Eleonora e Rosalba che hanno tenuto in ordine e pulitissime le nostre camere. Sul terrazzo vista cielo ci siamo immersi nelle musiche fantastiche e guidate dal maestro Nando Gozzi abbiamo tenuto le lezioni di biodanza. Esperienza positiva in questo albergo che consigliamo caldamente per quanto descritto e per la mirabile conduzione del direttore Fabio che ha coordinato tutte le nostre esigenze sistemandoci in camere ampie pulitissime e confortevoli con prezzi indubbiamente convenienti. We wanted to stay in the Matera Sassi district - this hotel was perfect. It started with staff offering to book a car park in the new area of town. It was walkable to the hotel but we chose to take them up on their offer to have a driver pick us up at the car park - 20 euro for 4 adults. The garage is new and was the easiest parking we've ever had in Italy. Hint: if you're driving, use Google maps on your phone instead of the car's nav system to get to the garage. The car system took us to the wrong place and we talked to another couple who had the same experience. When we put in google nav, we got to the garage easily. Check in was easy and very welcoming. We got lots of info and a nice orientation to our rooms. Everyone was telling us ”relax, this is your home now and we will take care of everything” (and they did). Our rooms were lovely, ours even had a sauna in the larger shower. Nice amenities like robes and slippers and cold bottles of water in fridge at no charge. Note that the rooms are carved out of caves so they are on the dark side. I asked for an extra lamp, and it was very promptly brought to our room. Beds were quite comfy. Breakfast was fantastic! Lots of typical Italian foods along with American basics. The coffee was great, and our waitress cheerfully accommodated our requests. Finally, location is perfect - we walked everywhere. Didn't need the car at all during our 2 night visit. All in all a five star experience!
