The villa is located in the Giardini dell'Aldia complex, in the highest part of the villa area, 1 km from the sea of Lu Impostu and Cala Brandinchi, in Lu Fraili, a hamlet of San Teodoro which is 5 km away, in Gallura , north east of Sardinia. We are in a very particular position at the landscape level, with crystal clear beaches and pristine areas reminiscent of the Caribbean, albeit in a very well organized context as services.The villa is located in an independent area with a large garden that surrounds it on all four sides and which leaves a lot of privacy to guests, the garden is divided into two areas, one which competes the upper part of the villa, wider and one that competes the lower part where we also find access to reserved parking spaces.From the panoramic verandas of the house we can see the glimpse of the sea that looks towards the beach of the Cinta di San Teodoro and we also see a large green area that leaves a lot of intimacy to the guests. From here you enter the living area of the house with a large living room with sofas and dining area and a separate relaxation area with other sofas which during the summer becomes completely part of the veranda, opening the large windows overlooking the garden. The living room then leads us to the kitchen of the house, modern, with hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge and a large amount of kitchen utensils. We enjoyed staying here. It’s definitely worth up grading to a room with a balcony, which we did after the first night. The breakfast was excellent and lots to choose from. It’s about a 20 min walk into the main part of the city, where there are lots of more touristy places to eat and see. Lots of cruise ships dock, so there’s always a lot of visitors, but it gives it a vibrant vibe. There are more restaurants to choose from locally and definitely worth looking for, as more authentic. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and you get a fresh cookie on arrival, which was home Made and delicious. Overall, a nice hotel. Bedrooms were a good size and nice. Bottles of water are provided in the refrigerator but you have to pay €2.50 ea small bottle! Pool area is big and lots of beds.

We had a pleasant stay at the Mercure, which had everything we needed. It is very conveniently situated close to the railway station, local and extra-urban bus stops. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean, with large twin beds, good lighting, a small fridge and a safe. Although the room description suggested there should have been tea and coffee making facilities, which there were not, we did not miss these due to the hot temperatures. Aircon was a great relief. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. There was one slight mishap when a dinner table booking made at the front desk did not seem to have made it into the system, but the restaurant staff just made up another table immediately with no quibble, We enjoyed the pool area - the pool was very clean, and a super cool temperature to counteract the high temperatures. Nice to eat out here in evening too. We enjoyed our stay, and would return.
