Reserved with Wonderbox. They inform us that, although they have already changed the classic room in top, these rooms are not available and they recommend a “de luxe” with a surppreciation of €70. We accept and find a clean and spacious room but with furniture now used and the floor covered with moquettes. Air conditioning doesn't work. We don't stop for dinner, but only for breakfast. The cakes have been purchased in the supermarket and anyone who wants yoghurt must satisfy the natural cakes, without any choice. The room was cleaned in the rooms and a lady was happy to pass near the tables with a stick and a motion.

Excellent position

Hotel with great location, next to Lake and ferry terminal. During checkin the receptions took IDs and told to come later to get them back which is unacceptable. Also no information on additional access to pool, had to ask myself after finding on the hotel website. Lot of bars and restaurants even in the same building. Tasty breakfasts, the best crossaints I had in Stresa. The downside is also poor maintenance of rooms, slow WiFi, AC control panel was very old and simply AC wasn't working. Bed very soft which is uncomfortable and unhealthy. If the price is attractive I would stay again but the standard is similar to 2 star hotels nearby.

Très bon hôtel, nous avons logé dans la suite azzurra. Chambre très spacieuse, personnel courtois, petits déjeuners copieux, avec un buffet sucré salé très bien garni. Nous n avons pas pris le dîner car l établissement ne propose qu une formule à trois services. L hôtel est bien situé, on descend la rue et on trouve tout de suite une superbe église et un peu plus bas, le lac Majeur avec de nombreux restaurants au bord de l eau. La ville est bien située, point de départ pour visiter les îles Borromée et à quelques minutes de la très chic Stresa ou d un superbe jardin botanique
