Not the most recommended for families with small children, very quiet and pastoral with an amazing view... The issue of sustainability is an anchor for hotel employees... This is reflected in several ways - for example, in the change of towels once every three days. It is not possible to get additional towels for the swimming pool. At breakfast it is necessary to be careful about the amount of food poured onto the plate so as to avoid throwing it in the trash, And also to observe silence as much as possible in the public areas. In my opinion, this is according to standards that do not always exist with small children and can create unpleasantness in front of the hotel management.

We could become a relais only for adults, but at the moment we regret making this choice. So we ask families to be close to their children, to help us maintain the relaxation and tranquility that we promise. We produce wine and oil with organic methods, use 100% green energy and try not to waste water and to use as few detergents and cleaning products as possible. For this reason, we suggest that Guests use their own bath towel in the pool; if they don't have one, they can buy our towel for 4 euros (it costs us more), which also becomes a souvenir of the holiday. For the same reason, we offer free change of towels in the room every three days, but if Guests want a change every day, they can do so payng a litle extra. Our goal is not to take that money, but to have all together an environmentally friendly behavior, greatly reducing the consumption of water, energy and detergents. Borgo is a really nice place. Its perfekt, if you wanna calm down from the busy dayli life. The staff is very kind .and helpfull. A lot of space around the buildings Lovely Pool , Great breakfast.

Our first time visiting the region and we were not disappointed. Borgo Romantico is set in the most beautiful vineyard and very well located to nearby towns as we were able to walk everywhere. We arrived much earlier than we had anticipated but the hotel staff were very happy for us to leave our cases whilst we explored before check-in. We found our room to be very spacious and clean, with a nice view over the vineyard. Breakfast was lovely - we were able to sit outside and have coffee, tea, cereals, yoghurts, pastries etc. There is a great selection, even fresh honey and honeycomb. I was also appreciative of the gluten free options on offer for guests. We booked the wine tasting activity which was very interesting. The wines themselves are wonderful and we were able to enjoy these with a platter of meats and cheeses during the session, again with a gluten-free adaptation. We also rented the electric bikes during our stay and were able to cycle to Bardolino. The bikes are easy to use and we were grateful for the quick lesson! Overall, our stay was fantastic. All staff members are kind and always looking to help their guests. We were sad to leave and would love to return - thank you again for a wonderful stay!

An excellent hotel for a quiet relaxing experience. Only a short taxi ride to Lake Garda and surrounding areas. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was delicious and eat as much as you like. Pool area fabulous with lots of Sun loungers and poolside bar that do delicious snacks. The staff especially Leo wad amazing and made us feel special but all the staff can’t do enough for you if you have any problems or need advise they’re only too happy to help xx

The positive things: The outdoor and pool area are amazing. Our room was beautiful as well. Breakfast was good. At the end of their stay, they gave us a bottle of wine which is def a nice gesture. The negative: Towels are changed after 3 days! or else you have to pay 10euro per towel. During booking there was no mention of this. Same for pool area towels, you have to pay 10euro to have one. Considering the price we paid we expect these things part of the price not paying extra literally for anything. Also, we had a booking for 3 people (2 adults + child) but somehow this was not showing on their system. We asked for an extra pillow and the receptionist was extremely arrogant. First she told us to wait till morning since they are short of staff and she's on her own. After some "arguing" we got the extra pillow. Useless to say that this attitude ruined a bit our stay. If they are short of staff it is not really the guests problem.

And this is an important decision for us, which also involves you as guests. On our site, in the welcome letter at the reception, in the rooms, we say this and ask all guests to help us not to use more cleaning products than necessary; not to use more water than necessary; not to produce discharges that are harmful to the environment more than necessary. For this we ask guests to use their own bath towel in the pool. Because in this way we do not have to carry out continuous washing and discharge pollutants. From experience I can tell you that there are people who use 3 or 4 towels in one day. So, if a guest does not have their own pool towel, we rent it, but not for free, because the message is the one said above, and it is important. Therefore we ask 3 euros for the rental of a towel, to discourage its use. Or we sell it at a cost of 10.00 euros. And we explain it. For the same reason we write in the room that we change the towels every 3 days. If you want to change them every day, there is a supplement of 10 euros for each change. The guest is free to choose between having an environmentally friendly behavior, or to contribute to the cost we have for all the ecological choices we have activated. Regarding the booking made with Booking. We receive reservations directly from Booking and other portals and, if it is written that it is for two people, it means that it was made for two people, without indicating the presence of the child. Everything was fine. Friendliness and service are particularly important to us. Both were 100% correct. The accommodation is ideally located. There is a very good restaurant in the immediate vicinity and Bardolino is just 15 minutes by bike. We will be back!

a very relaxing place, lovely vineyard surrounding, it makes you feel at peace. our room had amazing views, we could watch sunrise, sunset. big room and bathroom both very comfortable. on the other side the rooms a/c didn’t work. the staff isn’t really trained to treat guests. in general they are very rude, they answer back terribly. we were told to leave out luggage in a place where everyone could have access to because we arrived early and they didn’t had a secure storage room. we had the do not disturb sign and they opened the door when we were there. at checkout they weren’t charging the correct amount of out stay, we had to tell them to double check. in general this is a very nice place, you can get to lago di gardas towns easily, but staff really needs to get well trained.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Bardollino or Lazise, this is the place for you. Very nice, quiet accommodation with beautiful, tasteful rooms, large bathroom, we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Great garden with pool and seating everywhere, unfortunately we couldn't use it as it was too cold. The breakfast buffet lacked nothing and there was also very tasty coffee. Very friendly staff, we came back with dirty mountain bikes after a tour and after a quick inquiry as to whether we could possibly wash the bikes down, the gardener was called straight away, who brought us a garden hose to clean the bikes. We will definitely come back.

Among the hills, vineyards and olive groves, relaxation and peace reign.
