Reviewing as a current guest… ARRIVAL: Pretty basic and could definitely improve. Checked in no problem, but there is limited information provided. Nothing to advise about opening times of the restaurant, snack bar etc, they don’t even tell you when check out is. You need to find this out for yourself. People mention ‘no arrival drink’ but it’s self-service or bar service so really not a big deal at all. Overall, at check in they could provide more information. ROOMS: Fairly decent rooms however our floor was clearly not cleaned before our arrival and hasn’t been cleaned since. Beds are comfy enough. If you want housekeeping, you need to leave the ‘please make up my room’ sign outside your room. From research, we requested a room via email before arrival on a higher floor to save the hike up and down stairs. *tip* POOL: Great pool selection. There is a kids, warm and shallow small pool. Then a separate kids ‘water park’ with a few slides, water guns etc. Then a main pool for all. I believe there are also ‘adult only’ pools however I would say there is nothing to advise these are adult only and not managed by staff. Never an issue getting a bed when we were here. Plenty of choice and plenty of parasols for anyone looking for shade. Yes, the tiles are slippy, but this would happen in most hotels with tiles. Walk, and tell your children to walk. All will be ok! FOOD: Breakfast was brilliant. Lots of choice. Lunch, we never used the buffet restaurant but not as many stations open. We used the ‘snack bar’ and there was always plenty of fresh, and really good food available. Dinner had a good selection, even for fussy eaters. My one complaint (which didn’t actually affect me) was that alot of food wasn’t labelled so it was unclear what it was. This wouldn’t be ideal for someone with allergies or dislikes. There was no arrival system in the restaurant so it is a bit of a free-for-all in terms of finding a table etc. but it’s not really a big deal. Overall, food was always great and fresh! DRINKS: No complaints from an all inclusive point of view. Self service machines for soft drinks, fruit juice, water and beer. The pool bar is open for the majority of the day, offering a variety of drinks. Certain ones you need to pay for, but the menu is clear. I have seen people complain that cocktails are pre-made. I’m not sure what the issue is here. They would complain if made to order and a huge queue at the bar! Overall, drinks are more than acceptable and available for a large part of the day. ENTERTAINMENT: The animation team and kids club staff are great. They are brilliant with kids and constantly trying to provide activies and entertainment around the pool. Nayara was my boys favourite. She would always chat to him whenever she saw him and made him smile. Lollo and Bernie would visit and the kids loved this. Be aware they carry teddy versions of themselves around but you cannot buy these on site. The closest is about 7KM away. Evening entertainm
