Hotels in Licheng District, Putian

Newly opened last year, the front desk lady was very professional and upgraded me to a sea-view room, and even sent some fruit. The breakfast was also excellent. Both the exterior design and the lighting of the hotel are absolutely stunning. The room facilities are smart and comprehensive; upon entering, the electric curtains slowly rose, revealing a large circular bathtub and a spotlessly clean bathroom. The view truly amazed me. The large bed directly faced the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the room also had a sofa and two armchairs. While the drinks were a bit pricey, the overall look and feel were very comfortable. There's a 'sleep' one-button switch, and when I woke up in the morning, I was still a bit disoriented – 'day doesn't understand night'. The two-layered curtains that move up and down are a nice touch! Thumbs up. Highly recommended, it'll be my top choice next time.

The hotel is located opposite the bus station and there is a direct bus to the Putian train station. There are long distance buses to other cities in China including Fuzhou Changle Airport and Quanzhou Jinjiang Airport. It’s also 15 mins to the historical and cultural centre. There are many eateries around. The hotel has pleasant and nice modern decor. The staff are nice and friendly. The only issue we have is the breakfast area which is rather crammed. There aren’t enough seats and we actually had to wait a while before securing a seat. We noticed some guests took their food and ate at the lobby.

I don’t really write reviews unless exceptionally good or bad but this is really a negative experience … Firstly, not recommended if coming to stay in cold season (Autumn/ Winter/ Spring). The aircon/ heater system is centralised so you can’t adjust the temperature. Secondly, according to the receptionist, they only have ONE tower fan so not really available. Lastly, the attitude of receptionist and housekeeping is extremely unfriendly compared to before (I stayed here 3 times) and I put a good review in 2023. This time, the solution they provided to a female guest is to open the window and curtain at night for cold air… which I personally think is inconsiderate for a female guest. I gave my feedback to the receptionist when I checked-out so hopefully they can add more tower fans to their inventory.

The stay experience was great! The hotel is quiet, the bathroom has no smell, the toiletries are complete, and the staff is very polite. The room is well lit, whether it is a short trip or a temporary stay, it is very suitable and very satisfied. I will choose this hotel next time I travel. highly recommended!

Facilities: The hotel lobby is bright and welcoming. A big thank you to the front desk for upgrading me to an executive room. The room was very spacious, the facilities were new and incredibly smart. It seems they've recently renovated and upgraded. The soundproofing was a little lacking though; perhaps because the room was close to the elevator, I could clearly hear people coming and going. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, and all the amenities were well-stocked. It would be even better if the hotel could provide bath salts and loofahs in the future, which would make using the bathtub more comfortable. Service: The front desk service was excellent. When I called the operator, the front desk answered and handled my requests. The welcome fruit platter was generous (as pictured), and they were very prompt when I called the front desk to help with a food delivery. Environment: Overall, the hotel environment is very good, and the location is close to the city center. The breakfast spread is worth mentioning – it was incredibly varied and of excellent quality, truly highly recommended!!! The only slight drawback was the restaurant service. There didn't seem to be many staff, and most of the time they just stood behind their counters. There was no one to seat guests, no one actively patrolling the tables, clearing plates, or offering service. I even had to remind the staff at the counter when the coffee machine's grinds bin was full and when the ice bucket was empty, and their operation wasn't very skilled either. In short, the service experience in the restaurant wasn't great, and I hope they improve their training and management in the future.

The second time I came to stay, it was still very good, I will come next time.

Putian is a city with beautiful scenery and not too many people. The hotel prices are reasonable and breakfast is included. The breakfast selection is quite diverse. The location is also convenient. The lobby has a coffee machine and a lounge area. On the fifth floor, there are laundry facilities and a gym. The room's soundproofing is excellent. We booked our room after discussing it with the staff upon arrival, and they were very efficient. They even granted us a late check-out.

The front desk service was excellent, and the hygiene was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable, and the room facilities were quite good. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was great. It's also conveniently located. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get to the city center and all the main attractions. The facilities are quite comprehensive and relatively new, with nice decor. The parking lot is spacious and has plenty of spots. The paid breakfast is quite rich and varied.
