Hotels in Meizhou Island, Putian

The service was terrible. I had added them on WeChat beforehand, but they didn't even send a basic 'hello.' I had to ask multiple questions to get a single answer. My room wasn't cleaned by 3 PM, so they switched me to a family room, but even that wasn't cleaned properly. The previous guest had dumped tea leaves down the drain, blocking it. I messaged on WeChat for help, but got no response. My room faced the linen room, which was incredibly noisy. I asked an attendant for help, but she said it wasn't her area and would pass it on. After a long wait with no response, I messaged on WeChat again. Much later, an older man came to clean it, not even a cleaning lady. The linen room right opposite my room was so loud; kids were yelling and the attendants were chatting. The soundproofing was awful, and I was woken up by the staff early in the morning. The next day, after switching to a sea-view room, things were much better. The view was absolutely amazing! The soundproofing was still bad, but I could live with it. However, the people upstairs were playing cards and laughing loudly until past 1 AM, and kids were constantly running and yelling in the hallway. The breakfast was really subpar, on par with a small budget hotel. It definitely needs improvement. The attendants were nice though, and even helped me find the last Mazu cake. Definitely book a sea-view room!! The scenery is great!! You can watch the sunrise right from your bed!!

The room is very comfortable and clean, and the hygiene is very positive every day. The service is very good, the front desk and the boss who drinks tea next to you will chat with you and provide information. The shuttle service to and from the island pier: very convenient, the master is very good. The picture and the house actually match. The boss and staff are very good, the people are very simple, there will be no sales. Many places will tell you how to go, the battery car will also tell you where to rent a car, the location of the homestay is very good, the traffic, and the photo check-in are very convenient, the whole journey is great.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel! The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odor. As someone with a cleanliness obsession, I found it extremely comfortable. It's clear the owner has put a lot of effort into hygiene. There was also a projector for watching TV, a washing machine on the first floor, and a laundry and drying area behind the kitchen. The location is centrally situated on the island, making it convenient to go anywhere. Services included: electric scooter rentals at reasonable prices, sand-digging tools, and free pier shuttle service.

The location is excellent, right next to the convention center, and there's a discount for the Impression Mazu show. The hotel rooms are huge! They even have an entryway and reception area, and the color scheme and decor are very sophisticated. They gave us so many gifts—Mazu peace cake, our New Year's Eve dinner on the fourth day of the ***** New Year, and a little red horse keychain! The service was incredibly warm and welcoming; everyone was eager to help us solve any problems! There was even a tea steamer in the hallway, filling the air with its fragrant aroma.

Bringing a 5-year-old baby to Weizhou Island, choosing the right place is too important! This store is simply a paradise with a baby~ The door is a clean beach, and the baby can rush out to dig sand and pick up shells when he wakes up, so he doesn't have to hurry. It is very convenient to go to the Goosewei Mountain Shenshiyuan and Mazu Film and Television City. The boss gave a super detailed play route to avoid the peak of the flow of people. After coaxing the baby to sleep at night, I drank a small wine with my husband at the door of the hotel to watch the stars and listen to the sound of the waves. This is what a holiday should look like!

I highly recommend this homestay. The owner is extremely welcoming and the room is warm and clean. Although the room rate is a bit expensive during the New Year holidays, the front desk has prepared a lot of fruit snacks, which makes you feel like you are home. The breakfast is also super good 👍🏻. The attached picture shows the seaside scenery you can see in the morning when you walk a little distance from the B&B. It is so beautiful. If you have enough time, you can really stay there for a while.

The room is free to upgrade to the star room, very close to the beach, you can watch the sunset at night, take pictures very well. The room is fully equipped, you can drink tea to see the sea, the garden is green and the environment is very good. The service staff is warm and thoughtful. Especially the star sugar, the transfer coordination from the island to the outlying island, the room arrangement, very serious, impressive, worthy of praise.

The style of this homestay is too amazing. It is completely different from those pure white homestays on the island. It can be seen that the decoration is very hard, the simple courtyard, the texture of the stone and logs used is really high-end. . . Breakfast is also very rich, no choice. Just across the street from the ancestral temple scenic spot, walk for 5 minutes to go to the morning worship, my heart is very calm! The first floor is a restaurant, a variety of local snacks, seafood, authentic dishes, and locals' own restaurant. There are many customers and it tastes good. Our accommodation meal was also discounted, and the experience was really good!

King Room with Balcony! It’s my first time to see fireworks so close! Looking at the sea, I feel that all my worries are gone. The bread for breakfast and the snacks for afternoon tea are all made by the boss himself! Very delicious! During the day of the tour, there was a special driver to pick us up throughout the trip! A very happy experience!

I chose their 270-degree sea view room online because it was significantly cheaper than similar rooms. So, I gave up my original plan for a twin-bed room. When I got to the room and opened the curtains, I was pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures on the platform – what you see is what you get. It would have been even more perfect if there wasn't a rooftop in front, haha! 😂 The room was very clean, and there was plenty of space for luggage. There's a mini-fridge, and they even provided complimentary iced Coke! They offer port pickup and drop-off, and the owner was already waiting for us when we disembarked. The guesthouse's location is also very convenient; it's perfect for strolling from one end of Mazu Temple towards Ewei. The guesthouse has small electric scooters available for rent, but we tried one, and my driving skills weren't great, and I accidentally broke a small flower pot belonging to the guesthouse. I offered to pay, but the landlady insisted on not taking any money... She helped us find a reasonably priced mini-scooter rental and even warned us about the risk of scrapes since the rental scooter wasn't insured. The service was exceptional! At night, we felt an earthquake due to the tremor in Taiwan. I went downstairs, and the owner told me their guesthouse foundation could withstand a magnitude 4-5 earthquake, which immediately put my mind at ease, haha. It was a really great stay, definitely worth the two days I spent carefully choosing it!
