Our stay was perfect! We thought the amenities and breakfast are amazing and the hotel is new and clean.

This wonderful hotel, built in old Chinese stile, is very near to Konfuzius Temple and Mansion situated . We got a very friendly and professional welcome reception on the eve of the second of June at the reception, unfortunately I don't know her name. She guided us twice through the labyrinth of the hotel to our room. Also a man from concierge lead us the way. The housekeeping was very quick changing the broken coffee machine. Ella was great making our check out and get some food before leaving. Thanks to all of them!

I loved this quiet luxury experience! Very elegant, exquisite rooms (I recommend courtyard ones) friendly and helpful staff. Great bar and beer lounge to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend for a pampering experience.

Great location, amazing grounds and beautiful interior. It’s great to take photos here, many trees and landscape in ancient Chinese style buildings. I loved our stay here. It’s true that workers here barely speak English, this is where a translator app will come in handy. Get the breakfast- nice spread that includes local foods like the famous Kong tofu. There are little rickshaws parked outside with locals offering rides to nearby places for about 10rmb ($1-2).

One of the nicest hotels. I really enjoyed the grounds. Lovely rooms. I visited a few of the local attractions. The largest statue in the world was fun.

A short but nice stay in the heat of August. A bit of a wait to check in (30-45) but made up for in the good service. Who I presume to be the Food And Beverage manager (Jay) really went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of, both at the bar and in the dining area. His good English and attention to detail was very appreciated. Others in the dining area and room service were also quite friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a beautiful tea house and is located a very short distance to the Confucian temple. Recommended for service, architectural features, and convenience.

Wonderful stayed!

The services of the front desk is good except the male duty manager . I understand it’s strict for the registration but the way he follows you to your room discreetly is unacceptable.

Very nice hotel in the city centre. The breakfast and dinner buffet was very good and the staff always friendly. The only small disappointment was that the sauna in the male and female rooms were not working during our whole stay.

Generally a really nicely designed hotel with a lot of attention to the architecture and the integration and adaption into the landscape. Overall the service was pretty good, even though not all of the service employees were speaking English, they were always trying their best. A pity are the first two rooms we were offered. First a room directly at the garage and the big gate of the hotel, the closest room to the street where it’s really noisy outside with all the traffic. The second room they offered us was a non-smoking room which smelled a lot like smoke. The third room which we took in the end was lovely, with no smoke smell and a really silent courtyard. Another point to amend is the food choices in the hotel, especially for western food. Even from a 3 page menu they could literally offer just 8-10 dishes, whereof most of the dishes were anyway side dishes. From an international hotel on that level I expect to offer at least what they have on their menu. Which means you’re kind of forced to get the buffet dinner for 139 RMB, but of two times we had it, they changed maybe 2-3 of the dishes. On our third day we wanted to get a massage in the spa, but we did not in the end, because when we arrived there they only had single rooms and no room for two people, which is very unfortunate. Overall a great designed hotel, with a generally good service, but not very welcoming for international guests and not meeting the standard of a 5-Star hotel in this class.

Great location. Luxurious appointments. Executive Lounge somewhat limited, perhaps due to virus.

The hotel is super big and the decoration design is very exquisite. We were able to upgrade to a balcony room during the summer vacation. We were really lucky. Of course, we must also thank Daisy at the front desk. She personally sent us to the room to help us check in. She is beautiful and kind~ The Kongfu cuisine in the Chinese restaurant is super delicious, the buffet in the JW kitchen is rich and varied, the swimming pool is clean and well managed. When you go to Qufu, you must stay at Marriott!
