The most special part of my visit to Nepal was visiting Chitwan. An excellent place to observe animals and fauna of all kinds. The lodge was excellent. If you're very lucky you will see a tiger. And if your guide is SUMAN-- you are very lucky indeed! A most excellent guide and enthusiast about all he sees. Knows so much too!

The accommodation was basic, clean and a nice location, the food was good sometimes we had a buffet dinner, sometimes it was a selection of local food. THE REAL HIGHLIGHT was our guide Harka he was absolutely fantastic, so enthusiastic and made our whole trip so much better!!!

I really enjoyed my time at Wildlife Adventure Resort. The place is beautiful with a very nice garden and the location at the riverside is fantastic and serene. I felt comfortable all the time and could come down while sitting at the river or in one of the hammocks. One time I saw a rhino crossing the river which was lovely. Of course the bungalows and rooms could be in a better condition, but I have nothing to complain about. I had a big room with a queen size bed for myself, plenty of storage and a reasonable bathroom. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff at the resort always friendly and helpful. They always drove me to the entrance to Chitwan national park, picked me up and made sure I enjoy my time there. In addition, in the evenings we were sitting around the campfire and the owner always gave me an extra piece of barbecued chicken and told me I was part of the family. Therefore, I recommend the place to everyone.

I’m currently staying at Wildlife Adventure Resort on the edge of the Chitwan National Park. I’ve stayed in this area many times over many years and seen how much the area has changed. This resort is by far the best location for quietness and great wildlife spotting and the views from the river bank are divine. Everything about this resort was excellent…. The managers , the staff the food and the service. It’s not the cheapest of resorts but it is worth spending a little more for the beautiful tranquility of Wildlife Adventure Resort. ❤️

I stayed at this resort for 4 days/ 3 nights for little bit over 200$. For that price breakfasts, lunches and dinners with free coffees and teas were included. Every day there were few activities organised like jeep safari, Tharu center visit… very friendly and efficient staff. I opted for jungle walk with amazing guide Harka, we walked 15-20 km through the jungle, seen fresh footprints of tiger, sloth bear, rhino, wild elephants and many more. It was great, although I had my “I am a celebrity get me out of here “ moment when I got a lot of uninvited visitors on my trousers- a lot of clever leeches. Make sure you have covered arms and some repellent. Leeches are not a vector for any diseases, which is reassuring hi, but not a nice encounter.

Two of us stayed two nights here and booked a standard double room for about USD54, inclusive of breakfast. We like the tranquility of the place here beside the riverside ( but on the flip side means we need to take tuk tuk out every time we wanna go to Sauraha town ). The room is huge with a clean double bed and a single bed. Bathroom is also big. We like the friendliness of the staffs here and they were kind enough to packed our breakfast on the day we did our jungle Jeep safari. What we don’t like is the loud noise of the fan. One of the curtain pole beside the double bed is also broken. They also did not clean up the room the next day when we came back from the jungle safari.
