Positives first: the area felt safe, close, by car, to various restaurants and the Ikea store. Parking was convenient for our car and teardrop trailer. In walking distance, Boulangerie Ange offers amazing bread, sandwiches, quiches, desserts and more. The breakfast room in the lower level was busy but not too crowded. Coffee-meh, but served in real cups. The usual offerings of a hot buffet including the baked beans popular in Quebec. Absent were Yoghurt and peanut butter- cost cutting? The room was very clean and while the furnishings were dated they were very well maintained. The family owned chain is obviously investing in the property, making it more attractive for guests. Light sleepers may find the sound of the air conditioning annoying as it is extremely noisy. We finally turned it off. Toiletries and towels are basic and thin and the tissues dissolved on first blow! The price was reasonable though and overall I would stay again. Thank you to the friendly front desk staff who accommodated our request for a later checkout than their stated 11am.

Everything was as expected to the friendly front desk staff, clean room, comfortable bed and awesome location. You can walk to the old port, downtown and abundant shopping malls from the hotel. We didn’t use our car so the $30/night fee seems expensive. All around great stay in an awesome city.

We arrived late to the hotel and it was not a problem. The staff was awesome and we were surprised by all the facilities. The hotel has a restaurant which was closed on the weekend for breakfast but they recommended excellent restaurants nearby. Would definitely go there again!

Location is perfect ! Within walking distance from most things and literally connected to/in the mall. Service it was decent ! I remember them trying charge us just to check-in like 30 minutes early. Probably standard and still annoying lol however they held our bags for free ! Cleanliness was on point, but they did seem stingy with me asking for extra towels lol Amenities. The pool had too many children; wish they had specific times children are allowed to go and specific times adults are. I don’t think I used anything else. Overall, these are minor complaints ! I wholeheartedly recommend and I would def stay there again ! And my mom agrees !

I was there for a business conference. The staff were great, spoke English for many of us that needed it. The service in general was great. The room was pleasant, clean and full of amenities with some interesting lighting features. I was very impressed at how large the room was. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the at the Sens Restaurant. Our first night there, we go in late and we wanted to have dinner so ended up at Sens. To me, the menu seemed a bit limited. One of my colleagues was also limited to the type of food he could eat and other than a salad, there was no chicken dish on the menu. This surprised me. I love chicken myself. So we asked if the chef could prepare something with chicken that was not a salad. The answer was “No”, so my friend did not have dinner with the rest of us. Went to his room and ordered Uber Eats. Definitely not customer focused. Even I could have gone into the kitchen and prepared a tastey chicken and pasta dish (we suggested this) as I know they had both ingredients. That was very disappointing. This actually ruined our evening of spending time with our colleagues.

This stylish hotel was pet friendly, clean and comfortable. The friendly and helpful staff spoke English with us, as we did not speak French. There were several, affordable, take out restaurants near by, on the university campus which was great because eating in was not an option due to the pandemic. We enjoyed this property very much, even though we only stayed for one night. We would definitely stay here again!

Maité & Simon were perfect hosts! They were always available for any and all of my questions and took care of our little family so well. From everything to an early check-in/late check-out so our babies could nap, to providing us with a highchair and playpen, it was so perfect! We had come specifically to Montreal to take our daughter to the Biodome and this location was just minutes walk away. Once in the room, they had a binder full of helpful recommendations and tips (the Oeuferie for breakfast was fabulous). We were even able to secure free on street parking but do watch out as Montreal street signage is tricky!
