Hotel Fortuna Reutlingen-Tübingen Reviews

The hotel is very nice. There is a green area and a highway outside the window, but you can hardly hear any noise when you close the window. It is a typical German style. You need a key to open the door. There are many rooms. There are not many varieties of breakfast, mostly cold dishes.

I stayed here on a business trip many years ago. It was very convenient. I came here again after the epidemic. It's the same hotel and the same feel.

Older hotel but still clean and well maintained...great sauna area

Ausgiebiges Frühstücksbuffet, Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Dusche, kann man aus irgendwelchen Gründen nur auf ganz kalt oder ganz heiß stellen, haben wir zumindest nicht hinbekommen. Lage war für uns super, da wir auf einer Hochzeit in der Nähe waren und nach einem nahegelegenen Hotel gesucht haben, Autofahrt war 5 Minuten von der Hochzeit.

An einer Veranstaltung in der Nähe teilgenommen. Für uns war das Hotel absolut in Ordnung, auch wenn es schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

We were there with our dogs because there was an important championship this weekend. Unfortunately, a techno party took place during the night, which caused extreme noise until 4.30 in the morning. We were not informed about this in advance and so there were no alternatives for us. We had booked the rooms with the window at the back to have some peace and quiet, but the night was a disaster. Unfortunately we had already paid when we checked in and didn't get a refund. You have to expect this at a "business hotel".

Night porter was exceptionally rude. He cursed at us several times and seemed to be annoyed at us for being impatient. The room was ok, the carpet was a little dirty and the room too warm. Some of the equipment in the gym does not work but the spa seemed nice.

The Hotel states 4 stars. Definitely not 4 stars. No aircon in the room only a little fan. Due to extreme heat I had to have the window open. My room was directly under the outdoor seating area from the restaurant meaning I had to endure extreme loud noises from some very loud party guest extremely late in the night , on Thursday I couldn’t take it anymore and I put a complaint in at reception in the middle of the night. I don’t see how it’s allowed to be that loud after a certain time in the night. The room is dirty. The pillows with feathers stink and need changing for good. The toilet brush is full with dirty water standing in the toilet brush container , absolutely disgusting and gross. The bin in the room has never been wiped from the inside and how you can see on the pictures it’s stained with hairs and some other disgusting stuff. Please don’t advertise 4 stars. 4 stars means something different then this place. The outside entrance is untidily and unkept with cigarette buds on the floor extremely uninviting .I must say that the staff in the restaurant is friendly and the restaurant serves good food. Would I stay there again ? Definitely not under no circumstance. It’s manky , outdated and just not worth the money considering you can go in to Reutlingen and find something far more better for the money close to the city centre.

I was told upon arriving at 2pm that I could access the sauna facilities later that evening at midnight. Upon speaking to the night shift receptionist, I was rudely informed that I couldn’t use the sauna and it really wasn’t his problem either way. Quite frankly I wouldn’t stay here again.

A decent hotel, nice room, good bed, good bathroom, nice staff. The breakfast was very good. Our room was opposite the neighboring highway, so we couldn't leave the window open at night (too loud). Since the room didn't have air conditioning, it was probably either too loud or too hot in summer. Otherwise everything was great. There is enough parking, and it is about 5 km or 5-10 minutes by car to Reutlingen city center. The price for the room was very reasonable.

The hotel is located about 100 m from the beginning of Reutlingen city center, actually just across the street. Nice rooms, clean, quiet, well equipped. The breakfast was also very good and extensive. Staff very friendly. There is an underground car park under the hotel for 12 euros per day. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back.

A room without air conditioning, 80s bathroom including bathtub with shower curtain, fridge and minibar broken, blankets that were far too warm, etc. 94 euros for that is just not right. The hotel is very old and you can see it everywhere. The only way to get through the night was with the windows fully open, but you wake up in the morning because of the noise.
