Propere kamers (twee bedden kamer zoals gevraagd), vriendelijk personeel, en lekker diner. De communicatie rond de reservering kon beter. Wij waren tot de aankomst niet zeker of de reservering (via hun website en dan later nog eens extra bevraagd via mail) wel gelukt was. Dit bleek een taalbarrière (Frans/Engels) te zijn. Ontbijt kon beter (zeer basis, en veel zoetigheden zoals koekjes).

a wonderful place where you feel part of nature and its beauty. surrounded by plantations of bananas and papaya tomatoes and everything natural within reach. a priceless experience. the staff is extremely hospitable and the breakfast food is delicious. definitely visit this place and stay there after a hard hike

Optimo lugar para férias relaxadas, lugar bonito e tranquilo no meio da natureza, pessoal simpatico, bom serviço. Tudo muito limpo, piscina limpa. Os donos Dasdores e Jorge são muito simpaticos, acolhedores, prestativos, sempre interagindo com os hóspedes. Recomedamos 🥰💖💖💖

Un complexe génial, niché dans les colins. Accueil très bien, confortable, propre, sur plusieurs niveau. Ma chambre donnée sur un champ de bananes...extra. Vue sublime. On peut manger sur place. Vraiment bien. A conseiller si vous êtes a Santo Antao.

Accueil agréable, chambres avec vue à couper le souffle ! Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans ce petit havre de paix avec la petite piscine bien agréable pour ce rafraîchir après les magnifiques randonnées ! Repas préparés avec les légumes du jardin. Petit déjeuner correct. Petit bémol avec les enfants du personnel qui sont là et le petit qui pleure et réclame sa maman toute la soirée…

What a wonderful place to stay. The location was beautiful with breath taking views of the mountains, and cute little town. The pool was perfect for a night swim, the food was delicious and the staff amazing. The staff treated you like family always wanting to make sure you were doing great.

Overlooking the valley of Ribeira Grande and parts of the charming village of Coculi, the small, reasonably priced hotel Pousada Green Place offers rooms and a pool with stunning views -- please wake up early to catch the morning light on different mountain peaks, and definitely walk down into the village of Coculi itself, past its pretty cemetery into town with its charming church, schools and homes. The hotel staff are all welcoming and professional, and 5 special stars to the restaurant staff -- dinners were great, and the menu offered a wide selection of dishes. Definitely the Green Place is a hotel to return to!

Experience ratée : l’ensemble de l’architecture est hyper bétonnée, aucun goût esthétique de déco. La literie est hyper dure et les lits font 120 cm de large (à 2 adultes, c’est pas évident) Les enfants du personnel qui pleurent sans qu’on s’occupe d’eux sont omniprésents dès 6 heures du matin dans une salle de restaurant qui résonne comme une cantine de collège, et dans la cuisine dont la patronne refuse de fermer la porte malgré le bruit qui y règne. La cuisine est à peine mangeable, petit déjeuner y compris.

The location is amazing, the view on the green mountain really nice, but... The rooms are below basics, the breakfast is a joke - nothing to eat after the first half hour, and worst the tea and coffee are made using "normal' water - not botelled.. The retaurant food is average to below average. No flambed banana despite being at the heart of a banana plantation, the owner doesn't really care anyway as the business model is focused on large groups with low expectations. A shame given the potential of the place.
