The hotel is located in the tropical rainforest. The food is delicious and the price is right. There are many trails behind the hotel and you can see many animals.

We arrived to the lodge via a National Geographic expedition ship. We spent the morning hiking through the rainforest and then had a snack at the outdoor restaurant. We saw all kinds of bird life and a sloth. The hiking guide was very informative and the staff at the lodge were very friendly, pleasant and helpful.

A truly Costa Rican experience of living in nature. Individual bungalows that open to nature along walks thru the rainforest. Dark skies at night to stargaze. Monkeys in their habitat in the trees, butterflies and a tower in the canopy to birdwatch. Good food options and an attentive bilingual staff. If you want an air conditioned resort this is NOT the place for you, but if you want to experience the sounds and sights of the rainforest at an affordable cost in a designed environment with curated art…GO!

Die Danta Corcovado Lodge war auf einer zweiwöchigen Rundreise durch Costa Rica zweifellos eine unserer schönsten Unterkünfte. Wir hatten ein Bungalow ganz für uns im Regenwald, ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Hauptgebäude. Die Ruhe dort haben wir sehr genossen, gerade auch die Geräusche in der Nacht. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und die Outdoor-Dusche war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Über den Betten hat es Moskito-Netze und vor dem Zimmer eine gemütliche Hängematte. Schon der Empfang in der Lodge war sehr nett und wir fühlten uns rundum sehr gut betreut. Im Restaurant gab es ein leckeres Abendessen, für den Rückweg im dunkeln Wald stellt das Hotel den Gästen Lampen zur Verfügung.Schön ist, dass es auf dem Gelände der Lodge einige Spazierwege gibt, die unter anderem zu einem Aussichtsturm und einer Aussichtsplattform führen. Das Wifi funktionierte überall hervorragend, was die Planung der weiteren Reise erleichtert. Wir empfehlen die Danta Corcovado Lodge sehr gerne weiter. Diese ist für kurze und längere Aufenthalte sehr gut geeignet.
