I stayed here where my flight from Lisbon to Belo Horizonte was diverted to Rio de Janeiro due to the airport being closed due to the bad weather. So it was the airline TAP Portugal which arranged (and paid for) my stay here. And I really enjoyed it. The reception staff was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room had a nice view of mainly the hotel in front but also of the beach. It was clean, the beds were comfortable so just 10/10

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 10 days for our honeymoon after receiving a recommendation from a friend. When we first arrived we were disappointed because the room had not been cleaned adequately (dirty carpet, stains and dead bugs in the bathroom) and despite informing the hotel we were coming for our honeymoon we didn’t receive any special welcome, for example a note or message from the hotel or chocolate gift as we saw others receive on Instagram. We complained to the reception about the cleanliness and the next morning the room was cleaned to our expectations, we were happy with how the complaint was handled. The hotel room we were given was an ocean view on the 10th floor. The view was amazing and we loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. However we feel that for the price and star rating of the hotel, the rooms need to be refurbished, the room feels dated and the bathroom finishings are not befitting of the hotel we expected from the pictures; messy paintwork and grouting, broken wooden furniture, poor quality shower and at one point there was no hot water so our first night was cold showers. We have stayed in lower and similarly priced and rated hotels and the quality of the room and bathrooms were better than this hotel. We used the tennis courts and gym during our stay which was a nice option. We both had the tropical Spa experience which was a wonderful and relaxing experience and the Spa staff were great. We chose the all inclusive option at the hotel and we were not disappointed with the selections available and the high quality of food on offer from the restaurants. The service from the staff at the restaurants was wonderful. The location of the hotel is excellent, after exploring the area we determined it has the best location of all the hotels in Ipanema / Leblon / Copacabana, because of the direct beach access to a “private” beach. Halfway through the stay we received a note in our room to say there was a problem with the pre payment and amount of consumption. We were very surprised because we had the all inclusive option and had not taken anything not included. We called the reception to inquire about the problem and the person was not able to explain what was the problem. (My wife is Brazilian so language was not the problem). We had to go down to the reception to speak with someone else, where we were told that the pre payment taken by the hotel was not enough to cover the cost of our stay (10 days) and so an additional payment was needed. The hotel knew we were staying for 10 days and should have known the total cost of our stay (excluding extras not included Ina lol inclusive), and taken the payment up front, rather than send us an ambiguously and informally written letter, halfway through the stay which the staff could not explain on the Phone. Excellent accommodation, very careful and respectful staff only cleaning that is not very common the heated pool was not working and nor washing, room cleaning is not very common, Even though, as I get a shared room, the kind of cleaning of each person varies greatly, but the location and location is excellent.

The hotel has excellent quality, I need to highlight the service of the Sara garçon, very friendly, careful and always able to solve. The reception was also great! I will come back more times with my family.

The hotel follows the standard of comfort and excellence that is expected from an ibis. I closed the pool (because I was looking for a hotel in the center with a pool) when I arrived I was informed that the pool was of Novotel for a fee of 63 reals, which should be informed as well as the purchase of breakfast and parking. I looked again on the site to see where it was written and I didn't find it, I was very disappointed because I could have closed another hotel with a similar value. The team's care was wonderful, taking this disappointment we had a great stay.

I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.

I had my doubts about the quality of the hotel due to the previous comments, but I was 6 days, 5 nights and I loved it. The room was small, but comfortable with everything needed, the daily cleaning was excellent, the staff very careful, although not everyone speaks Spanish the readiness to solve your doubts is very good. It is located in the centre of Lapa, in front of the hotel and near the hotel there are several stores that operate until late (apotheke, supermarket, clothes stores, restaurant, etc.). The public transportation is outside the hotel and you can reach anywhere in the city (beaches, museums, fairs). They do not offer tours but call a spectacular tour agency ( river40 degrees); breakfast is a buffet type, very varied, strong with different sweet, salt, juices and fruit accompanies. The pool is of medium size, low-drop but pleasant for bath****.

counter staff member was fantastic and checked us in once rooms were ready, car park is a big advantage and is off street secure., pool up top is flash area. nice rooms which for the budget level were great.

I only have positive words for the stay at Novotel Leme. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice, the service is great, breakfast is delicious, versatile and extensive, the rooftop bar Sky Leme is a very nice place with a magnificent view and a nice pool. I appreciated the cocktails. So many thanks to all the staff to make our stay a great experience every day! Special thanks to Vicente for his friendly attention.
