I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.

Very good place. I recommend. However, I had the misfortune of staying on the lower floors where the TVs are still old and the sound from the street makes it difficult to rest.

I stayed there for five nights in January 2020, and have only good things to say about the hotel. Nice and clean room, good food in the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff (with good advices about where to go - and not to go), great location (400 meters from Copacabana beach and across the street from Cardeal Arcoverde metro station) and in a pretty busy and safe part of the city, with many shops and restaurants. Not too expensive rooms. They can also offer transport to the international airport for 25 real. That's much cheaper than taxi!

I actually had 2 comfortable nights at this hotel but their website just kept on charging my credit card over and over. Thankfully, it showed up on my phone, so I was able to inform the staff and show them the receipt at the time. A very helpful front receptionist said he would contact the finance department and that when I checked out early the next morning' it would all have been rectified. When I went to reception, no one could help and I was told to wait for the manager who would be on duty after my flight left..... So far, no response from this hotel and no money back.I've contacted my credit card provider and so I now have to battle to get my money back. My experience of checking in was in I’m afraid to say, truly awful. I arrived at 5am and the older gentleman checking me in was ignorant. Apparently, he was the ‘English speaker’ on duty and he completely ignored me when I asked a question. I received no information whatsoever about breakfast times, where facilities in the hotel were and he didn’t even have the good manners to look up at me when I checked in, he just opened his hand for my passport. He started huffing and getting obviously irritated when I asked if it were possible to arrange a later breakfast as I wouldn’t be getting to bed u TIL 6am, despite having to pay for the hotel for the night before. The guy actually just ignored me until I asked him directly and he didn’t even look up and said ‘no’ in a really annoyed manner. Great customer service, thanks! Thankfully, when I had need to speak to reception staff during the day, this was a much better experience. I spoke to a young woman and on another occasion a young uni man who were friendly and helpful, so much so, I decided to stay again on my return trip the following week. That was up until they kept charging my credit card, firstly through the own hotels website that said the transaction failed but charged the credit card and then again when duplicate monies had been charged by the hotel. Mistakes happen. It it how quickly and satisfactorily they are sorted that makes the difference between staying there again and avoiding it. Would I recommend staying here? Yes, breakfast is good and the hotel was clean and quiet on the 19th floor. It is dated and could do with updating but it is not bad value when they don’t empty your bank account! Just pay in cash if you’re staying there and avoid that nasty old man on reception who works at night.

The hotel follows the standard of comfort and excellence that is expected from an ibis. I closed the pool (because I was looking for a hotel in the center with a pool) when I arrived I was informed that the pool was of Novotel for a fee of 63 reals, which should be informed as well as the purchase of breakfast and parking. I made a reservation of two rooms for the days 24/07/22 to 27/07/22 of B&B hotel post 5 copacabana by platform hoteis.com we opened the communication attempt at 25/07/22 and until the moment I received no return from B&B Hotel post 5 copacabana and even from hoteis.com We did a petfriendly room reservation at the hotel with safe travels hygiene process, but we arrived yesterday at the hotel and only had problems. The bathroom is full of lime, the door of the balcony is not closed completely causing noise all night, there is a green light router in the room that is on 24h, the couple bed in fact are two old single beds with shaved mole. In addition, when they arrived here, they asked me to walk with the dogs on the neck all the time, and in the exchange of the message I had to book, they only reported that the dog could not walk free but even in the guide they involved. The inlet of the hotel, the sensor, doesn't recognize that it is going through and closes what has hurt me. I spoke to the security at the inlet and he said that, and so, and he couldn't do anything for me. I spent four nights at this hotel, in a very nice area of Rio. Great facilities: magnificent rooms (standard), excellent bed and linen, very nice swimming pool (heated) with gorgeous views, pleasant common area, etc. The management, however, is not so good. Nothing serious or terrible, but not what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. E.g.: I was supposed to receive a free big bottle of water in my room, as part of the arrangement for my group; I did not received it and I was told that I should pay for it if I wanted it; in addition, I was asked, when checking our, to pay for 2 bottles! (when I ordered just one). I complained and no charge was made finally but it gave me a poor impression about the level of care for the details one would expect in a hotel of this category. Moreover, in a place what you cannot drink water from the tap safely, the management should provide with courtesy drinking water for every guest, as is usual in most places. About the food: very good in the restaurant, reasonably priced (but obviously not cheap). However, the breakfast was disappointing: little variety and quality in the fruit (in a place such as Brazil!!!), slow service for the eggs or tapioca you ordered, and little variety of bread and pastry, as well as other deficiencies (quality of cheese, ham or salami, etc.). A special positive mention for the cleaning personnel: very efficient and nice, always respected the requests I made about timing. Bravo.
