We have just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel. The complex is small and adults only which make it a relaxing place to stay. The room we stayed in was on the first floor (307) and had a large sunny terrace which was worth paying the extra for. This was useful as we had sun beds which are in short supply around the pool. Would be better to have more sun beds around the pool rather than Cabanas. There are sun beds on roof terrace bar area but there is no shade and access could challenge some. The food is generally very good and although it was nice to have the service, which was always very friendly it was at times rather slow and staff could be more aware of waiting times. The gym is in need of an upgrade as apart from the 2 spin bikes working the treadmill and cross trainer were out of action. There are plenty of weights. The nice beach is only a short walk away and the area reserved for Soco residents is looked after by Valery who is very friendly . The sun beds they provide you with are in poor shape however. Overall the accommodation is well maintained and kept very clean. Our room was very comfortable and good size with plenty of storage space and the shower always hot. In summery if there weren’t the issues we have raised we would have given 5 stars.

My stay was excellent on all levels. The resort had a quiet elegance, meticulously clean and very well maintained. The staff were irreproachable, always friendly and ready to help you in any way possible. The food was very good in variety, flavour and presentation. The guests I encountered were mostly from the U.K. or Canada. I highly recommend this resort for a relaxing, quiet holiday.

Lovely little boutique hotel. Many plus points Service, cleanliness, friendliness. Good food and cocktails. All of the staff are lovely. Cocktails by the pool were hotel quality, often in other locations they have been less good at the pool, not here. Special mention for Chester, who is fun, friendly and a great barman. The food menu changes every 2 days, except for breakfast. We were able to find everything we wanted on the menu. (One downside was that we both came down with travellers tummy troubles, probably due to shellfish) The restaurant staff are friendly and generally efficient. Yes, we did have to wait a little longer than ideal on a couple of occasions, but given the food quality and the dining atmosphere we were not too concerned about this. We just sat back and took a little longer to enjoy. Special mention to Jane our server on many occasions, she was fun and efficient. A cool box with drinks from the bar ( beer, water, soft drinks) was a great service on days that we went to the beach. Like other reviewers, we agree that there are not enough sun loungers at the pool. Having said that, the walk to the beach is very easy and special mention here too, for Valerie and Barry on the beach who looked after us, found us loungers and umbrellas etc. They made going to the beach a pleasure. The gym - unfortunately this could do with much improvement. It feels unloved and was extremely limited, limited selection of equipment and some basic items broken (treadmill in particular). Not a particularly pleasant space and not well air conditioned either. Recommend - Pidgeon Island, the Friday night street party and the catamaran cruise to see the Pitons. All in all, a very enjoyable stay at the Soco House St Lucia.

We just returned from SoCo House earlier this week and really enjoyed our one week vacation there. We absolutely liked the resort, which is small and because it's adults only, it was very low key and relaxing. It is such a nice place - all white decor, which is really fresh and cooling in a hot climate + it was spotlessly clean. Our room, on the 2nd floor. was large and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable + lovely, big, fluffy pillows. We had a couple of small issues that were resolved very quickly thanks to the help of the manager. We never had any problem with water from the shower ending up on the bathroom floor. The food in the dining room (so nice to have each meal a la carte) was hit and miss; some dishes better than others, but mostly good. As others have said, the service is very slow, but we weren't bothered - we were on vacation and in no hurry! The dining room staff were very good and special shout out the the "Wonderful" Eloise, who was amazing. Actually, all the staff were excellent all the way down from the super. friendly, professional manager to everyone else. There were lots of smiles from everyone. The walk to the beach was only 5 minutes and we were given towels and a cooler, filled with water and beer. to take with us. I really think that it's time that SoCo House got new sunbeds; the ones on the beach are in dreadful shape - mostly ripped and uncomfortable. The pool area at the resort was very nice, but there is definitely a need for more sunbeds. There aren't enough to go around and the flimsy deckchairs are pretty useless. They, along with some of the cabanas, should be removed and be replaced with more sunbeds . All in all, SoCo House is a lovely place for a relaxing vacation.

I booked a long weekend stay at this hotel based on my experience at its sister property in Barbados. This is unfortunately the poor step sister. The whole property is shabby and needs a facelift. The shower water in the bathroom does get everywhere. The food was disappointing, the lunch menu did not rotate and we had to choose from the same menu for 3 days. The fish/entire dish was either overcooked and/or bland. Breakfast was painful every morning. The staff couldn’t keep up with clearing tables and we had to wait outside the dining room to be seated every single morning. I’ve never seen such a thing. It took an age to order coffee, water and then food. And then the wait for the food. You may be able to make breakfast reservations but I don’t know if that works any better. The walk to the beach was fine, but there is no bathroom available for hotel guest use. Everything in the gym is broken so don’t count on any equipment unless you want to do a light weight workout. The 2nd to last day it’s like our housekeeper gave up, they cleared the room and gave us new towels but didn’t clean the bathroom. One nice aspect is the friendliness of the guests around the bar, but that is really more down to the guests themselves and not the hotel. Go in with your eyes wide open. I would not stay here again.

This was our second visit to this hotel we had a few problems when we last stayed in November 2023. There was so much about the hotel we liked then - so we decided to come back and give it another chance! and so pleased that we did! Improved 110%!!. • The a la Carte meals not buffet – yes it took longer but lovely that you are served especially at breakfast. • A small quiet friendly hotel - adults only. • Location good - 5 mins to beach and walkable distance to Rodney Bay shops, bar, restaurants and the Marina. • Good size pool - large enough for length swimming. • No aquacise classes (great for us) and the gym is very small. • Cabanas around the pool – prosecco and canapes included if you pay. A lovely experience. • Rooms are a little tired but adequate. A thank you to all the staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. A special mention to the Manager, Edmund who was always going around checking that everything and everyone were ok. We have been to St Lucia before and had previously stayed in a large all inc. hotel loud and noisy which we did not enjoy. This is the opposite – a relaxing friendly small hotel. What’s not to like!! Tip : sunsets at Spinnakers with cocktails !

We didn’t know what expect after reading some of the reviews. Here is an honest review. It was a beautiful resort very close to the beach. A 3 min walk. Coolers for beverages can be ordered for the beach. The food was fantastic. Great that it’s not a buffet. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, but please bear in mind, if it’s busy, there will be delays like any fine dining restaurant. The property was kept very clean. Management and staff were fantastic all around. Very polite and extremely helpful. However, the loungers and cabanas around the pool could use an update. They look tired and worn, but we still used them. We were mostly at the beach. Rooms were very nice. Refrigerator in our room. Some complain of water on the floor in the shower area. There is no door on the shower but I don’t believe this was the reason for the water. The shower could use caulking where it meets the floor. No biggie for us, we dried it up with our towels. It was a nice touch for the management and staff who gathered in the lobby to thank all the guest for staying with them. If I was to return to Saint Lucia, I’d definitely be staying at this resort again. I’d love to try the Barbados Soco House to compare.

The staff at Soco house stand out as being very dedicated to making everyone feel as welcome as family. Eloise in the restaurant is a force of nature. A very vibrant personality and very welcoming smile and goes out of her way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Chester on the poolside bar is very engaging welcoming and again goes out of his way to make your experience unforgettable. From the little games around the bar to encourage guests to socialise through to the personal banter. You could not ask for a better host. I could list many of the staff but their are far too many to comment in them all. Needless to say. From the cleaning staff through to the management, everyone goes out of their way to ensure your holiday is exceptional. The food here is very good if a little limited on the menu choices however that is good when you find that one dish you want regularly. However they will go out of their way to give you the food you want. I would recommend booking a poolside cabana and have full service from the extra complimentary proseco served daily though to the little snacks served. You do bot need to lift a finger apart from ti request more beers if they have not noticed. I really can not recommend this Hotel highly enough. For how reasonable the cost of the place was, you would think you uave paid 4 times the amount. Please do remember the minimum wage in Saint Lucia is only $7 ec. So please tip well it make such a difference and shows a mark of respect for the people who work so very hard to make our stays as enjoyable as possible.
