We have been for a meal with friends several times now. The choice is good and we all enjoyed our different meals. The service is excellent with loverly helpful staff. A bonus is the presentation which I really appreciate. I am looking forward to eating at the Jolly Drover again.

Perfect place to stay for couple of nights whilst attending a family wedding. We ate in the Restaurant great menu choice and lovely meal. The staff were friendly. Sharon's freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. She couldn't have been more attentive. Everything freshly cooked..local fare..soo tasty yum.

My wife, Brother-in-Law and I had a lunch on Sunday 12th May. We had a most enjoyable meal. From booking to leaving we found the staff, mostly young ladies and lads together with The Manager to be extremely friendly, professional and courteous throughout. The service we received was first class. We have no hesitation in recommending THE JOLLY DROVER to guarantee excellent service. We are more than happy for these comments to be used.

Perfect stay! The room was clean, spacious and very quiet - we had an early night and we weren’t disturbed once! The staff were very friendly staff and welcoming and it’s set in a beautiful area - couldn’t be happier with our stay! Thank you for having us!

Beautiful clean and comfortable rooms lovely bed and lots of hot water in the shower ….…..great staff always so helpful so kind. Been there twice and always leave happy ..thank you so much .hope to visit again later this year … Mu. And Steve Howells.

Friendly staff ,good English breakfast (though the apple juice was nicer than the mixed fruit), comfortable bed and good shower. Lovely location in the countryside. Bathroom floor was cold underfoot, stone flagged , unfortunately. And the night was cold. But otherwise, room facilities were excellent.

A fantastic overnight stay as part of a bikepacking trip.
Excellent location along the King Alfred Way trail.
Super friendly and efficient staff.
Tasty food with a good selection of evening meals and puddings.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a good double bed. The bathroom was also good with a large walk in shower cubicle.
There was not enough bike storage so needed to keep bike in room, which was fine as the room was large.
I'd highly recommend the Jolly Drover to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for looking after us.
