Great hotel location. But some things of the hotel management are very funny, there is a kind of Italian crying and laughing. The first night of check-in was delayed until 11 pm due to an accident on the highway from Florence to Rome. At the front desk, the old man at the reception told us that he was the last guest today. He was very considerate to upgrade the room for us. Mysteriously, he took out a hidden key that can open the hidden floor that cannot be seen on the elevator-the sixth floor . To be honest, I still feel very happy here, because the hotel has a history of more than 100 years, we were actually assigned to the ”secret floor”. I was a little excited, and my brain filled a lot of ”What has happened on the sixth floor? ”. But when I opened the room, they looked half as small as the superior suites I ordered, and didn't even have a bathtub. So call the front desk to verify, the old man at the front desk informed that this room is indeed called deluxe suites, which is higher than superior. I discussed with him, why the higher-level room could not even open the two suitcases, and the little old man was helpless, and told the truth that I know that all the rooms are fully booked today, and I can only change rooms tomorrow. Ok, I understand that the hotel just had to hide the 6th floor name as as deluxe suites ..... but it is actually a classic room (rolling its eyes). . . The difference between classic and superior is about RMB 1,000. I called Ctrip for the first time to ask questions and solutions. I also showed the room photos, and the difference between the order description (the difference between 15 and 35). The phrase ”the hotel said that it has upgraded the room for you” will roll another hundred eyes. . . The hotel changed rooms the next day, but it was just changed to my original specifications, because in the honeymoon, I didn't want to toss anymore. But disappointed with Ctrip's approach.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

Near the Vatican City Rome|1.3km from Cartier( Roma)

Not far from the Angel Castle and the Vatican. There are also some small supermarkets and large supermarkets around, which can meet temporary needs. There are several restaurants on the way to the attractions, but the taste is difficult to eat, salty and fresh, or it is poor attitude, English is lame, and Italian is not standard. The employees are not really locals. It is recommended to eat at attractions or downtown. Check-in waited for a long time, it was impossible to wait, the speed of processing was Italian. Don't like chatting between colleagues. This is a Delta flight attendant hotel, after all, it is impossible to live around Rome Airport. The room type has a small balcony, you can experience the heat of the Italian night. Compared with the same nh hotel, the hardware is good, the bathroom is very good, there is a foot basin, there are many towels, and 2 TVs and a small living room. Daylight is also sufficient, and internal light is also available. Breakfast was okay and there were many varieties. Cheese had local characteristics, but no ham. The drink is too sweet. It is quite satisfactory. The coffee machine actually has no characteristics, a bit regrettable, how should there be an espresso, no ... Come to the airport, the rental price is too expensive, the bus is cheap, but the service is very poor, there is no service in Italy. Very similar to the front desk.

This is not a hotel. It is basically a converted apartment with many bedrooms. While the rooms are large and clean I would not suggest staying here. After flying for 10 hours we were exhausted. We found a cab driver who had not heard of the hotel and was concerned to leave us at the address. There is nothing clearly stating that it’s a hotel. The cab drive circled the block because he was so concerned that he came back to check on us. There was a locked door to an apartment building. We had no way to get in. I searched through emails trying to find a phone number for the hotel to call. The hotel does not have a website so it was not easy to find. I’m sure I’m going to be charged a ton from my phone company for the multiple calls I had to make outside the US. When someone answered the phone it sounded like a personal cell phone. The woman barely spoke English and she said I should’ve been texted check-in info. She said someone would text me. We waited 10 more minutes in the heat. I called her again. She said someone would WhatsApp me. I checked it multiple times and I finally got a message I needed to download but my phone didn’t have internet. I had to call again. After 45 minutes we were finally able to get in the building. There was a front desk as you enter the apartment but no one was EVER there. The hotel is near nothing. No cabs ever drive by. This is not a tourist friendly place to stay. We had to walk at least 20 minutes to find a cab to get anywhere. There weren’t many restaurants near by that were open. Also, the shower is completely open to the room. If you are traveling with friends or family it is very inconvenient as we had to take turns leaving the room for each of us to shower. The day before we left we messaged the people through WhatsApp asking them to help us book a cab to the airport the next day. This is something that they state on hotels.com that they help. The gentlemen messaged me back and said that the company they work with was booked that day. He gave me a number that did not have enough digits in it to be a phone number. I messaged him back and told him that wasn’t a phone number and asked him to send it again. He responded the next morning and said it was a phone number. We ended up having to research and download an app to book our own driver which was very stressful the morning we were supposed to leave not knowing how we were going to get to the airport and if we’d make it in time. I also asked what time check out was the day before we were leaving and I didn’t receive an answer. I asked again the next morning very early and received a message at 9:30 saying check out was at 10. I have stayed at many hotels and air bnb’s and have never experienced anything like this. I never write reviews but I felt I had to for this to save someone else the trouble that we had. I feel like we wasted the 2 days we had in Rome trying to figure everything out ourselves. By the time we found cabs we had already missed the

Should not be a hotel, like a homestay, no service management, plus the Italians are not reliable, the location is good, next to the Plaza de España, next time you still have to stay in the hotel.

The location of the hotel is invincible, and the proprietress is also super good. They are all conscientious recommendations for helping to book a restaurant; downstairs is CHANEL, the subway station, and three stations to the central railway station. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. If you go to Rome next time, I will choose him Family!

The location is very good, just a few minutes away from Plaza de España, downstairs is where all kinds of big names gather. The rooms are clean and tidy. You can live in such a big room at this price in the city center. I really have to say that the price/performance ratio is super high, and the best The main thing is the service of the landlord. I really want to give ten thousand points. The car I rented encountered a problem on the road. He personally drove to my location to pick us up, help us deal with the crisis, and give us the most suitable advice. When we were upstairs, we all couldn’t bear to help us carry the huge 4 suitcases by himself. He planned to do it himself, but he firmly refused and told us lady first. He really couldn’t express his gratitude to him.

What a wonderful little hotel in the madness of Rome. Was welcomed with such warmth from reception and arrived early but was told our room was ready which was a very pleasant surprise enabling us to start exploring the city. The rooms are lovely and big with a large wardrobe and desk, very comfortable bed and a very large bathroom. Breakfast was a great choice with a warm welcome from Adriana who was always genuinely interested on our plans for the day. All of the reception staff very extremely helpful on giving us recommendations for restaurants and bars. This hotel isn’t a boring corporate hotel but a genuine Roman family hotel and treats their guests with such warmth. It’s location is perfect so be able to walk to all of the major sights and has some great restaurants and gelato shops within seconds of the door.
