We booked Osimar as a last minute replacement as our other hotel had cancelled a few days before we travelled. And we are so happy that they did cancel! From the second we got there we loved everything about the hotel. The staff on check in were brilliant and gave us a tour of the hotel and where everything was located. They gave us a map of the city and a few refreshments to put in our fridge. The room was immaculate and perfect for a city break. The bed was comfortable and tv great if you wanted to watch a few films in between sight seeing. They even change your mattress everyday! The aircon was a life saver as it was 38 degrees. Our favourite feature is the old lift, it’s so quirky and we loved using it for getting up to our room. The breakfast was perfect, a good selection of pastries, meats and juices. The only downside is the distance from the city center but the nearest metro station is a 10 minute scooter ride or 20 min walk so nothing too bad. Overall it’s a fantastic hotel and I would tell anyone going to Rome for a sight seeing holiday to stay here! Grazie Hotel Osimar!

After reading the reviews on here, me and my partner were a little dubious about how our stay in Rome would pan out. However, we quickly realised that many of the reviews could not be more wrong! On arriving at the hotel, we found all of the staff to be extremely friendly / helpful, immediately telling us all the important info we would need for our trip around Rome (highlighting metro lines / metro passes/ offering to help us book tours of the attractions). The hotel also has a little bar area which sells soft drinks / alcohol and very cheap coffees compared to the prices within the centre of Rome. On getting to our room, we did notice that the room didn’t have a separate window, however there is a small window located on the door but we didn’t feel like this massively impacted us due to the air con being one of the best systems I’ve ever had in a hotel, plus the fact that the door opens up onto a nice seating area. Numerous times throughout our stay we would just open up the door while getting ready and found this was an easy solution for the no window situation! Many reviews also mention the bathrooms. We did find after the first night that the bathroom got stuffy / smelt a little but we then realised that after showering, if we left the light / fan on and just shut the door, the smell was pretty non existent. As for the rooms, for the price paid, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was. The bed was comfy and the reception staff had no issue with giving us an additional pillow upon asking. As for noise, we must have been lucky as we heard absolutely nothing throughout the night, even with the hotel being situated next to a fairly busy road! 5 minutes up the road is a Lidl which we found handy for buying toiletries / snacks. Also 5 minutes up the road is the metro line. It cost us €24 each for a 7 day metro pass which we could use to go anywhere within Rome. With the metro station Rebibbia being the first / last stop on the line, we found it extremely easy to navigate ourselves to the right metro stops. The metro also had direct links to the colosseum, Circus Maximus and other stops along the way which dropped us off at the quieter areas within Rome. Upon leaving, we were unfortunate enough to have a transfer bus which decided not to pick us up and the receptionist could not have been more helpful in ringing the transport company for us / querying where the bus was and then ultimately arranging a taxi for us. Overall, we could not fault any of our stay at Urban Garden and would return again if we decided to return to Rome!

I'm sure that each of us has his own scale of factors to evaluate whether a place is beautiful or ugly but that the added value is the people. In this clean, nice and very comfortable hotel, near the Roma Termini station, it is precisely the people who make a small hotel a point of reference for our trips to Rome. Paola from the reception was, and is, the person who followed us during the booking process and who went out of her way to help us project our photographs on a wall, in a small room set up just for us, a small group of photographers arrived in town for a two day photography course. Thanks Thanks Thanks dear Paola, you are invaluable for the hotel and for the people who stay with you.. an infinite thanks from all of us. Federica

Cosy room. Close to transport, amenities deceiving as linked with other hotels, spa area not in this hotel but another up the road. Upstairs balcony/ bar not in service anymore but ok for a quiet drink you can take up as self service. Coffee not great, suggest to go elsewhere. Clean room, no fan so it was red hot all the time but overall nice room. Constant banging running around and shouting till early hours of the morning so slept awfully 3/5 of the nights stay. I did call reception and ask some something too he said but the man on the desk said “what am I supposed to say” . Breakfasts is pretty poor, best part was the bought in yoghurt. Beautiful Hotel - outside and inside! Location not so bad to get to City Centre, and Vatican City (Approximately 5-6 K’s) Staff very friendly (Lounge, restaurant, check in) Cleaning staff.. see below in pictures… We had room 629 for 3 nights and got moved to 601 the last night… see below in pictures… ISSUES 1) 4 nights- room “cleaned(ished)/serviced” once! The one day it was “cleaned”, bed was only made, Same used towels left in bathroom for 3 nights- no clean towels?!?! 2) WIFI - hmmmmm…. Not on 6th floor! Lobby & poolside okay. 3) Pool absolutely beautiful - but went to use pool - “CLOSED” no Lifeguard on duty (to watch adults) 9+ people around pool you can’t use?!?! 4) STAFFING issues, restaurants, bar (lounge) staff absolutely amazing - but could have used at least 1 more person to assist with dinner/supper service. A hotel that size and number of guests and charters buses, they definitely needed help. Dinner service runs from 7PM to 10PM. Got to busy for the “CHEF” and @ 9:30PM - 9-45PM good luck… was not taking any other order cause to busy for the chef? ( where I’m from, if you’re open till 10:00PM, you’re open till 10PM, and the chef and staff to complete all order no matter what, that’s what you’re paid for) Waitress JONA did her best and did an absolutely Amazing! Breakfast… same thing, if you’re not down before 9:45AM… Good Luck, cause cleanup starts at 9:50AM - 9:59AM. Good luck getting anything after 9:45AM! NOW, I/we can live without not having the wifi not working and pool close… it is what it is, and even understanding the serving issues due to lack of staff. BUT the room not being cleaned for 3rd day and the ANT’s having a feast on whatever was dropped on the floor… MERCY! (I have some videos of them working as a team and enjoying their feast and not sure where they were heading to on the 6th floor, maybe the next room?) Well, we kinda got some sorta compensation, “we can move you if ya want.” (Moved to room 601 for a night, at least we had clean towels, and the bed was made up!) Checking out - “YOU OWE XXXX.XX euros”, not “How was your stay, or thanks, come again” LOL! Thats fine with me/us, cause that’s what TRIP ADVISORY is for! Would I/we stay here again or recommend this hotel, probably NOT! Have a great day, and really hope your experience at this hotel was much better than ours, cause 90+% of the staff working were great and trying to be helpful!

XXIAOLANThe hotel is newly renovated, very clean, booked triple room, is a large bed, there is a sofa bed, the sofa bed is paved. Mini bar food and refrigerator drinks (Coke, Sprite, Orange Juice, Soda, 2 bottles of mineral water) are free, but they are no longer added after use. The breakfast was great and very rich. There is an open-air bar on the top floor, which is open at night. You can sit down and chat without a drink. The hotel is ideally located for all of Rome’s sights.

LLauWendyMy trip is in February, the room is very hot, it still open heater no air conditioner, we have to close the heater and open the window but it is very loud as close to the main street. I asked for a fan but the reception said no fan to be provided.. I requested the upper floor when I booked in the trip.com, but Reception said no requirements are received, but finally they changed us to 8 floor We booked the breakfast but it is usual cannot say better. Overall, I have to say the price is not worth for this hotel, I will not choose this hotel for my next trip to Roma.

GGuest UserThe establishment is located a 2-minute walk away from Termini station so it's very convenient if you arrive by train and plan to use the public transports to move around the city (which is recommended) since from there you can hop on any bus/tram/metro/taxi and go anywhere in the city. I didn't explore much around inside the hotel, but I can tell that the restaurant area where breakfast was served is located on the last floor where the terrace is located. I always had my breakfast in the porch which is still covered from the rain and wind. In the morning you can find both sweet and savory food including cornetti, cream filled donuts, cereals, cakes, different kinds of bread that you can also toast, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), ham, mortadella(=bologna), salami, edamer cheese, fruit, milk, orange and pineapple juice and coffee/tea/capuccino served with an automatic machine. Finally on every table you could find small jars of jam/marmalade. You can reach the floor with 2 separate elevators and I believe the terrace also hosts a bar with music in the evening. I was given a double room to be used as a single so the bed was large but I don't think it would be big enough for two people. The room included a mini bar, an electric kettle with cups that you could use to make tea or instant coffee, a safe and of course a set of towels, soap, shampoo, shower cap and a shoe brush. The bathroom although quite narrow included the bidet and disposable bags for tampons. On the downsides even though it was cleaned daily it seemed that some spots were overlooked for example a phone present in the bathroom was always covered in dust since before I arrived and the shower could use some descaling since most of the streams were clogged. Having a freezer in the room contributes at making it very warm. and finally, although not really an issue for me, the window was facing the inside of the building but on the bright side I believe that facing the street would have caused the hearing of a lot of noise. Talking about noise it was very quiet and the only sound I could hear were sometimes people walking in the corridor outside my room and in the evening the music coming from the terrace bar I believe, even though it stopped playing at midnight. I didn't get to experience any other amenity nor the room service since it wasn't in my interests or I didn't need to while I was there so I cannot give any comment.

GGuest UserOn first glance of this Hotel, the reception / the chill out area really speaks for itself. But the hotel is in itself, is very small, and very, very basic. As for.the room we had (obviously cannot speak for all) in my opinion, the hotel should be liable for faulse advertising. The best rooms are shown, but what you actually get is something completely different. The Receptionist of any business is the front of house, so your personality, your warm-welcome (Hotel Ripa) really matters ie the 2 male Receptionist upon our arrival. However, one out of the two, was a lil better than the other. I was not happy with our room. The one out of the two was happy to find us something else, the other, aggressively said ”No” three times. Challenged me. He went on to say, we're fully booked, come back tomorrow. RESTAURANT: From Breakfast to evening meal. Wonderful service, good selection of food. Michele from the evening restaurant, he could not do enough for us. My 14 year old granddaughter is quite fussy and so he advised her what was best for her to eat, brought out accomdiments for her. He gave a service with a smile. Just the way it should be. Would I recommend to a friend. No way. I value mine and my friends relationship.

GGuest User+The location is very good. It is within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Plaza de Espana and Borghese Park. The reception staff are also very friendly. Luggage storage service is also available. The bedding is clean and the cleanliness is good. I like the tile floor. - The room is long and small. There is not much room to open the suitcase. There is no refrigerator. There are cracks or worn parts in the bathroom shower booth or sink. Amenities provided are disposable cups for brushing teeth, shower gel and soap. Breakfast is very simple. (Some breads, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, cereals, yogurt, coffee machines, juices, jams and teas are all available. There are no salads or fruits.) Among expensive lodgings in Rome, a single room like this is not bad for the price. It was a short itinerary and the time I stayed in the hotel was not long, so it was okay.

GGuest UserMaybe it's because they can charge you with 6€ per person city tax? I'm not very happy with this hotel. Thin walls, expect to hear everything from neighbours, the room was directly beside the restaurant, mildew (my wife had problems with allergic reactions), not clean, older than it looks, unrepaired damages / open electrical wires (dangerous?), breakfast is absolutely minimum, coffe machine spends only quarter cup (need to push it 2-3 times), mostly sweets for breakfast, cheapest food / bread, area around is really not nice -> full of trash / plastic / smeels dirty, streets are damaged a lot, nothing interesting except carrefour in this location, the hotel ofers nothing special (no sauna, no swimming, no sport, nothing), the breakfast room has no windows (feels really cold, like a school hotel), to get to rome it takes minimum 40 minutes if you have luck. For us it has taken minimum 1:20 to rome / vatican. Service said the commerce is open 24x7, I went 3km, it was closed, open only until 10:30pm. No sauna, nothing to entertain. Conclusion: I would spend a few hundreds more to get a real 4 stars hotel. This here was 2 stars, but really not more. For me this looks really untrustworthy. This was by far the worst 4 star hotel I've ever been. I really can't understand that high rating. Therefore I think, it's (again) just to get a high city tax. We have payed additonally 36€ for two persons for 3 nights. Anyways, the personal was kind to us. It's not their fault. It seems the management tries to get each cent from the visitors.

GGuest UserTitle: A Comfortable Stay at Hotel.Paris in Rome: Convenient Location and Helpful Staff Introduction: During my recent trip to Rome, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel.Paris for four days. The overall experience was comfortable, thanks to its convenient location, helpful staff, and pleasant atmosphere. However, the repetitive breakfast menu may become monotonous for guests planning an extended stay. Location and Accessibility: Hotel.Paris is situated in a prime location, just a 10-minute walk from Termini, making it extremely convenient for travelers arriving by train or using public transportation. The hotel's proximity to many major attractions was a significant advantage, allowing guests to easily explore the city's landmarks and cultural sites without spending excessive time on commuting. Comfortable Stay and Helpful Staff: The hotel provided a comfortable stay with clean and well-maintained rooms. The ambiance was pleasant, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. The staff members were exceptionally helpful, offering prompt assistance and providing useful recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. Their attentive and friendly service added to the overall positive experience. Breakfast Experience: One area where Hotel.Paris could improve is the breakfast menu. While the quality of the food was satisfactory, the fixed breakfast menu for all days became somewhat monotonous for guests planning to stay for more than a day. Having a limited selection of dishes might disappoint those who prefer variety or have specific dietary requirements. Introducing some variety or offering alternatives for guests staying multiple days would greatly enhance the breakfast experience. Conclusion: Hotel.Paris in Rome offers a comfortable and convenient stay, with its prime location and helpful staff being notable highlights. The proximity to Termini and major attractions makes it an excellent choice for travelers looking to explore the city with ease. However, the fixed breakfast menu may become monotonous for guests staying for an extended period. With a little improvement in this area, Hotel.Paris has the potential to enhance the overall guest experience and become an even more popular choice among travelers visiting Rome.

Prima e ultima volta!

GGuest UserThe location of this apartment is incredible. It is very close to many attractions. No need to take a taxi. There are also many supermarkets nearby and buses are very convenient and suitable for tourists. The facilities and equipment are also good enough to cook some simple meals. The disadvantage is that the network is very unstable and there was no hand sanitizer and shower gel when we checked in. Overall good.
