The Rome Edition

Via Veneto Rome|0.38km from Libreria Feltrinelli International
The room itself was decorated nicely, but will most likely age badly as time passes. The layout of the room was ok, but the bathroom doors didn't open properly on one side. The bed itself was quite comfortable and the supplies for the bathroom were good quality. The entry looks nice, but has a major flaw. Anyone who enters risks falling over/knocking those side lamps. If you are clumsy , you will not feel relaxed any time you enter this establishment. The food offerings in this location are interesting. As an American establishment in Rome, you would expect a large selection of tourist friendly, local, & international dishes. The menu here is disappointingly limited, but what was available was very tasty. The staff are friendly and professional in the lobby and at the main restaurant. The cleaning staff are very mixed in their skills and disregard the ”Do Not Disturb” signs. Some money was stolen during the stay from a hidden wallet in a bag that was closed. The initial reaction was very strong, and the staff were willing to assist when reporting this to the police. There has been no reaction since. There has not been any mention of a timeline of when the investigation may be finished, which makes the initial reaction much less effective at ensuring loyalty from customers. This is not the first review where money has been stolen from a holidaymaker. Overall the stay alright, but definitely was not worth the money spent.

The Hive Hotel

Termini Central Station Rome|0.49km from Libreria Feltrinelli International
Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. Rose Garden Palace Roma by Omnia Hotels

Via Veneto Rome|0.54km from Libreria Feltrinelli International
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

NH Collection Giustiniano

Near the Vatican City Rome|2.43km from Libreria Feltrinelli International
Not far from the Angel Castle and the Vatican. There are also some small supermarkets and large supermarkets around, which can meet temporary needs. There are several restaurants on the way to the attractions, but the taste is difficult to eat, salty and fresh, or it is poor attitude, English is lame, and Italian is not standard. The employees are not really locals. It is recommended to eat at attractions or downtown. Check-in waited for a long time, it was impossible to wait, the speed of processing was Italian. Don't like chatting between colleagues. This is a Delta flight attendant hotel, after all, it is impossible to live around Rome Airport. The room type has a small balcony, you can experience the heat of the Italian night. Compared with the same nh hotel, the hardware is good, the bathroom is very good, there is a foot basin, there are many towels, and 2 TVs and a small living room. Daylight is also sufficient, and internal light is also available. Breakfast was okay and there were many varieties. Cheese had local characteristics, but no ham. The drink is too sweet. It is quite satisfactory. The coffee machine actually has no characteristics, a bit regrettable, how should there be an espresso, no ... Come to the airport, the rental price is too expensive, the bus is cheap, but the service is very poor, there is no service in Italy. Very similar to the front desk.

Termini Central Station Rome|0.07km from Libreria Feltrinelli International
It was an extended weekend family trip, so this hotel was a good fit since it was not all that far away from some interesting things, and it was priced reasonably. The room was spacious, with a plain design making it a little ugly, but it was clean and well cared for. Our view was of the apartments in the opposite buildings, but we got our views elsewhere. The bathroom was OK even if the shower doors did not close properly. They cleaned the room daily and left fresh towels, even if we did not ask for. What was really bad was the soap/shampoo that they offered. Not that it smelled bad or anything but it reminded me of the soaps hotels had in the 80s The common are was almost always busy, but the people were respectful and friendly, and left the place clean. The wifi was fast, even when using VPN like I did. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of choices and interesting flavors. But the coffee was really bad. You do not expect that in Italy, but it was from an automatic machine that made different kind of coffees, so the result was bad. The people that worked there were always smiling, were friendly and eager to help, which is something that always helps when you are staying in a foreign country. The hotel is next to a police station and the immediate area felt safe, even at night. There are homeless people close by but they never bothered us. There is also a metro station within walking distance. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and it is a great choice for a brief family vacation

Hotel Nardizzi Americana

Termini Central Station
We stayed in two from 1 to 9 September at the American Nardizzi Hotel in Rome, and we were very happy with our choice. We certainly did not look for luxury, but we hoped that there would be a quiet place from which we could be able to turn Rome almost all walking away, and we were quite satisfied beyond our expectations. The jewelry of the place is Mario, ready to welcome the reception and give advice of all kinds to make the stay in Rome rich with more experiences possible. What I most appreciated, besides his carefulness and kindness, is his huge preparation for the history of Rome and the surroundings: he has always been willing to spend time to respond to our historical curiosities, Cultural or culinary, never complaining or treating us in an urgent manner. I understand that everybody has different priorities and one suite cannot be claimed from one two-star, but if I take the same importance I can tell you that the rooms were beautiful and clean, the quiet environment, The hotel is located at 10/15 minutes away or near bus/metro. If we were to go back to the city, we would not have any doubt about where to stay.

Good location. Near Republic Square, walk about 20-30 minutes to Trevi Fountain and Plaza de Espana. It takes only two or three minutes to walk to the subway station, take line A, then stop B, and take two stops to get to the beast. Field and ancient Roman ruins, very convenient. The service of the uncle at the front desk was very good, very welcoming, the room was clean and there was a small terrace. Breakfast is not much, but the environment is good. Overall, it is satisfactory!

Termini Central Station
The location is very convenient, about 1 km from the train station. After getting off the plane, do the airport express train to the train station, then it is very convenient to walk. There is a subway station on the edge of the hotel, and there are many bus stops. It is very convenient to travel by roma pass. Hotel facilities are not new, but the maintenance is very good, it is also very fast, breakfast is good, very rich. Overall satisfaction. In terms of price, in addition to Ctrip's prepaid price, the hotel also charged a tax of 11 euros per day. This Ctrip did not inform the specific amount in advance, but only vaguely said that it would be possible to collect taxes on the spot. This is not satisfactory!

Termini Central Station
The hotel location is very good, very close to the central station, taxi normally within five euros, but too close to the driver to make a detour to make money, Italy, understandably, we were detoured ten euros. The hotel is very beautiful, very good stay experience, comfortable, elegant, breakfast and dinner are great, wine is also very good, highly recommended!

Close to the station But it's not easy to find the location on the first line. If you are familiar with the road, it is easy to take the subway and it is ok to walk to several places The room is small but clean and hot water comes out well and drains well There's a refrigerator, a coffee machine, a kettle, a dryer, no water.
