Hotels near Meta Sudans in Rome

I arrive at night (h. 1:30) back from an international journey, with a change of time band, I just hope I can sleep a little. Noise is intolerable, it is a forced wake like a caserma. When I finally washed and dressed, I go out in the corridor, I see one of the workers out of a room that cleaned the door pulling it out ... Here's the main cause of those noisy hits that they felt! No delicacy, no accuracy for those who might still be in bed. In the end, I had not only the unfortunateness of living with a poor and noisy client (and here the fault is not of the hotel, but it is not a little careful to recommend silence in the corridors), But there is also the 8:15 pm awakening that makes it unrecommended to stay for those who need a real rest. For the rest, decent location, friendly reception service, quality/price ratio in line with the Roman standard exoses.

Unfortunately my friend chose this because it was close to our airport. But I implore you to look elsewhere as you will find much better places to stay. You will find no food in this hotel. Nor did I see a vending machine. Breakfast is it. And a tiny bar can give you a basic drink or tiny water. The room is basic but was clean. We each got one small lumpy pillow so I needed to ask for more. The shower had seen better days with stained and dirty grout and a shower head that constantly fell down. And the cleaning left much to be desired with long hairs found everywhere. There is a restaurant next door but give it a big miss as the staff are rude and the service and food is horrific. I chose this hotel because we needed a place to stay for just one night before an early morning flight out of Fiumicino after our time in Tuscany (It is an easy 35-minute drive to the airport on Sunday morning), but I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff was so friendly on check-in and told us that we were welcome to explore the public areas of the villa, which are covered with beautiful paintings and frescos. They provided us with a write-up on the very interesting history of the Villa. Our rooms (we booked two for our family) were very clean and good-sized, with comfortable beds. Yes, the wifi was spotty, and the rooms could use a little updating in terms of things like outlets), but they really had everything we needed and the charm of the place makes up for those things. One room had a beautiful view of Rome, especially at night! We also ate dinner in the hotel's elegant restaurant and it was a perfect last meal before we left Italy. The service was wonderful, prosecco was flowing freely, and the food was delicious!

I was a guest at the hotel for the last 3 with 120 students and I’m one of the teachers. The second morning, I discovered that my make-up had been stolen, which was very inconvenient and upsetting. I went to the front desk to report this. The lady at the front desk assumed that I was one of the students and replied in a way that seemed very indifferent and careless. She stated the students' rooms were all messy and I probably lost it in my mess. When I told her I was a teacher, she said that my roommate probably took it. This alone is a very inapropriate remark. The fact that my expensive make-up was stolen, did not seem to bother her. That was the end of that conversation, since she stopped replying to my complaint. The conversation was very difficult because her English wasn’t that good. When I addressed the problem again the next day, she told me that it couldn’t have been the cleaning lady because they didn’t clean my room. This was a weird comment because my bed was made and my colleague was at the hotel the whole day and she had seen the cleaning lady in my room. The lady at the front desk said that this wasn’t possible because they didn’t have access to my room because I had the key with me all day and there wasn’t a spare key. She was basically telling me that I was lying. I showed her my key and pointed at the shelves behind her that the spare key was there. She was perplexed. I also assume that a cleaning lady always has a master key. The lady at the front desk couldn’t find any more excuses. I ended the conversation with telling her that I would write a bad review and I would let our travel agent know that I didn’t recommend the hotel to my school. I have been treated with disrespect. You can’t tell your guest that they are liars. I had hoped this incident would be taken seriously and investigated or that I would be compensated. Which didn’t happen.

The overall idea is very good, the only disadvantage is that it is far from the city. Fortunately, there is a train 300 meters away from the hotel, and you don't need to buy a ticket to take this train

Movie Movie Hotel has quite new facilities, not like the dated hotels in city center of Rome. It was only 3 minutes walk from metro A line station. The hotel upgraded me to top floor with a spacious room. Everything worked fine. The only complaint was the tiny shelf (not a table) next to the bed. I found not much space to put things next to bed. Other than that, seriously it was a good discovery for visiting Rome for future trips.

Excellent hotel, very refined and comfortable place, very friendly and available staff. Ordered and clean rooms. Possibility to communicate with excellent staff. Presence of parking a point for.

The hotel is easy to reach, reserved parking, large and well clean rooms. The bathroom should be reviewed. nice staff, even though the hall is not open h 24 better call before, buffet breakfast is not bad. Council compared to others in the area.

The location is average, but close to the subway, convenient transportation and affordable.
