A very pleasant hotel with helpful staff. The rooms are small, bright, well furnished and comfortable. The bathroom similarly was clean and a range of toiletry products were provided. The shower is excellent. The hotel has a bar which was quiet on the evening we went there, prices in line with Rome. Within walking distance to St Peter’s Basilica. A number of local restaurants and shops nearby. Bus stop to the city centre and other locations situated with a few minutes walking distance.

I was in this hotel last week. Normally o had to stay 2 night but I stayed just one because it’s really a bad hotel.Toilet not cleaned, hair in bed and lots of other things (see photos bellow). No heat on the 2-nd floor so I had to wear clothes because the blanket it’s too thin. I went at the reception before sleep waiting 20 min for someone,no one came (it said 24 h reception). I work as a front office manager in a hotel Also so I know what that means but when the receptionist tells you « yes at the second floor the heat takes time to warm » and after me saying « no it’s not working at all » she said « yes true in the second floor doesn’t work »….then why you put me on the second floor?????she tried to give me another room next day for me not to go but after a horrible night like that I booked already another hotel. In France this hôtel close directly…3 starts? How comes??Not even s half star… I travel a lot but I never seen such a dirty hotel…

The breakfast is great, there are not many Chinese people staying in, the hotel is on the slope, suitable for self-driving trips, you must book this very rich buffet breakfast when you come to Europe, at least breakfast can save 70 or 80 yuan per person

We booked 2 double rooms in August 2022 for 5 nights in March 2023 using booking.com. As part of the booking process, we registered a credit card on a ”pay at the hotel” basis. 6 days before we were due to arrive, we received an e-mail telling us we had to confirm the credit card details within 24 hours by following a link in the e-mail, with the threat of cancellation if we didn't do so. In years of travelling, we've never come across this before. We tried repeatedly, ended up using 5 different cards (mix of debit/credit cards and of card-providers) and every time it failed with a message saying there was a problem, and to try later. We contacted the bank to confirm the cards weren't at fault, rang booking.com and got them to contact the hotel - we even offered to pay the full amount up-front rather than risk losing the booking. They checked with the hotel and said the hotel were unable to take a payment over the phone, but that the booking was OK. The following day, we received a further e-mail stating the booking was cancelled as we'd failed to confirm the credit card. We rang booking.com again, who - once again - rang the hotel but couldn't get a response. With 5 days before we were due to fly, we went into a desperate search for somewhere to stay. Booking.com offered us a number of alternatives - none were anywhere near as convenient a location (as other reviews have said, it's superb for the main tourist sites), and at higher prices. We ended up finding an AirBnB apartment. Lo and behold, 3 days from flying, we get an e-mail from booking.com stating the hotel had now got 2 ”Superior” rooms available to offer us at £50 per room per night over our original booking price. We declined. So - our conclusion is that - at best, the hotel's admin/systems are flawed (card confirmation process/system is unreliable and they can't/won't accept payment by phone). Or - at worst..... well, you can draw your own conclusion.

Mmm TA said the hotel was on a hill .. it was .. a small hill unfortunately the other two steep walkways up from the train station were even worse. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable with a fridge .. very small.. but sadly no tea or coffee making facilities.. the roof top in the pictures must be edited it is in fact very small with half dead plants in pots and looks to need some serious refurbishment. There is no where to get breakfast nearby other than a small cafe and shop a few yards down .. no bear restaurants and nothing available in the hotel. The whole area around about the hotel looked unkempt, scruffy, overflowing bins and roadwork netting up all over the place. Staff ok but beware your tourist tax at €6 pppn. Payable as you leave. English is spoken but any queries other than immediate hotel enquires were met with indifference and really they couldn’t be bothered.. unfortunately like most of the Italians elsewhere that we encountered..Rome? Meh!
