Hotels Near Parco Amato in Rome

I'm sure that each of us has his own scale of factors to evaluate whether a place is beautiful or ugly but that the added value is the people. In this clean, nice and very comfortable hotel, near the Roma Termini station, it is precisely the people who make a small hotel a point of reference for our trips to Rome. Paola from the reception was, and is, the person who followed us during the booking process and who went out of her way to help us project our photographs on a wall, in a small room set up just for us, a small group of photographers arrived in town for a two day photography course. With the expectation that this is a guest house (not a hotel), we were duly impressed with the amenities and cleanliness of this place. It is ideally located at Piazza Barberini (next to Metro stop, by the Triton fountain, and across the street from pick up of Rome hop-on/ hop-off bus), with a cafe across the street and several restaurants, pharmacy, bank nearby. It is about a 10-15 leisurely walk to Trevi Fountain, so location is attractive for tourists like us. We travelled as a family (2 adults, 1 child) and we were assigned a triple room overlooking the courtyard (very quiet at night, even for my husband who is a light sleeper). The central air conditioning was amazing, especially in the summer heat. The housekeeping is exceptionally prompt ( we would return after lunch for a siesta and the beds are made, bathroom cleaned, fresh towels available). While they don’t have breakfast onsite at this time, we are able to buy breakfast vouchers for 3 euros for the cafe across the street (this is the discounted rate since the same breakfast is €4.50 without a voucher). This was a quick breakfast type: cappuccino and a cornetto (croissant with Nutella or jam). If you want an American breakfast, that is also available at said cafe. Prior to check-out, the front desk arranged for our airport transfer (€65 van pick up). Alternatively, folks can walk to the taxi stand across the street (€50 standard tariff for airport drop off by taxis) but we had someone with mobility issues so pickup in front of the guest house was ideal. Other amenities included basic soap and body wash, in-room safe, water bottles when we first arrived and small refrigerator inside our room. There is also a vending machine near the front desk for additional water/juice and coffee vending machine (you will need coins- it was maybe 85 cents for a small coffee). There is a nearby PAM grocery we frequented for bottled water and other supplies. Overall, a memorable stay and we hope to back again soon.

The hotel is in a good location, 4 stars, at the first stop of the city sightseeing bus. The whole room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is quite large, but it is a bit noisy facing the street! The breakfast is also very good! The retro elevator is very cool! The service is also good, the front desk can store luggage, book sightseeing buses, and book taxis.

The ho(s)tel was brand-new, and very clean! The beds where a bid hard, but thats personal preference. We asked for more pillows and towels, and they happily obliged. The breakfast buffet is pretty basic, so don't expect any warm/hot food like fresh eggs or bacon - but it's all you need. The whole staff was superfriendly. The location is perfect, as it's sitting at walking distance from the most famous sights: Colloseum, Trevi, ... Apart from that - it's only a 4-min walk from the metro-station 'Republica'. There's a convenience store located right in front of the hotel, which also comes in handy for getting a few bottles of water for the road. Would recommend, and definitely stay here again!

We have been sleeping two nights in this B&B in Trieste near the railway station, in a third floor palace with lift. There is a parking in Silos nearby. Clean and spacious room. Heat. New bathroom. Exceptional shower. Abundant hand towels. Coffee machine with capsules. Heating machine with tisane. Fridge. All the structure is furnished with contemporary design works for sale. Recommended.

Only two stars but spotlessly clean. Lovely room and super shower room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Fridge in the room. Coffee machine and snack machine near reception. No lift. Room only. Area is a bit run down. Lovely park 100 metres away with pavement cafe/bar doing basic snacks. Would go there again

It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the subway station. The entrance is difficult to find. I found the entrance only when I met some kind people who helped me. It's a bit strange that the room does not have bunk beds. I don't know if I don't know how to use the bathroom or if it really only has cold water for bathing 🤣🤣 Breakfast is 5 euros, including coffee, milk, croissants and other desserts, as well as apples. There are many varieties and you can just walk from the attractions if you don’t want to.

The hotel is located outside of the city centre of Rome. Although it is situated near a station on Line C of metro, it is not convenient to carry your baggage to the hotel. We took uber when we check out. However, I would recommend this hotel to budget travellers as everything is decent except the location.

No wordt, just go there, you Will have no remarks to make . Good location, perfect sanitary, excellent services, Nice restaurant, friendly staff, what Else do you want, i Will surely recommend if you plan tot visit Firenze

Abbiamo soggiornato in occasione dell'evento Europa in danza, insieme a mia figlia che ha partecipato alle audizioni con maestri internazionali. Personale accogliente e preparato. Pulizia della camera ottimale. Colazione a buffet con cibi salati e dolci davvero ottima. Nei pressi c'è un fornitissimo supermercato (Panorama). Facilità di parcheggio nel piazzale antistante l'hotel. Ottima esperienza. Da ripetere.
