This is a first class, family run hotel. Everything about the Allalin says quality including the food and the superior rooms. Members of the owning family are always present to ensure that everything is of the highest standard. They are also happy to offer advice on trips and walking options. Saas Fee is a beautiful alpine village which provides excellent walking opportunities, assisted by a good local transport infrastructure.

Tout était proche de la perfection. L'hôtel Allalin, tenu par une famille depuis plusieurs générations a tout pour plaire. Notre chambre était spacieuse et bien pensée. Il y avait du rangement et tout le nécessaire. Tout était propre et le ménage fait tip top. Nous avions pris la demi-pension, le petit-déjeuner étant compris. La nourriture était très bonne, avec une entrée à choix, un potage à choix, le buffet de salade, un menu à choix (viande ou poisson), fromage ou dessert. Je recommande de prendre la demi-pension. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet varié. Que ce soit les membres de la famille propriétaire ou les collaborateurs, tout le monde est aux petits soins, très aimable, et parle nombre de langues. Pour les propriétaires de chien, ceux-ci sont les bienvenus tant dans l'hôtel que pour les repas. Alors faisons en sorte de bien les gérer pour que cela perdure. Un grand merci à l'Hôtel pour le séjour de 3 nuits qui nous laissera un excellent souvenir et l'envie d'y retourner un jour :-)

Hotel Allalin was the perfect choice for our stay in Saas Fee. Ideally centrally located for the Hannnig gondola, shops and bus station. The hotel had such a relaxed atmosphere with its friendly staff, lovely rooms and spacious gardens with views looking straight across to the mountains. The food was also extremely good. Breakfast always had plenty of choice and the evening meals were both varied and so well presented. We also liked it that on some evenings the patriarch of what is a family run hotel would spend time walking round in the dining room talking individually to the guests about their experiences and also his own when up in the mountains. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel Allalin. From the moment we were picked up at the bus terminal by Stephania (how did you lift our suitcases so effortlessly! ) until the time we left to go home we were made most welcome. Food, ambiance and atmosphere at the Zubriggen family run hotel are of the highest quality. A special mention to the lady who served breakfast ( we didn’t catch her name, but know she is coming to London in August). She always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The view from our balcony of the mountains of Saas Fee was to die for. If I was to make one slightly negative comment and this is out of the hands of the hotel. The hotel is adjacent to a road and at night if you have the windows open you may hear street noise as people return to their apartments. Also the construction work going on starts fairly early in the morning often at 7.00am and the noise can be intrusive. All in all we had a fabulous holiday.

Wir hatten zu viert eine Suite. Schönes grosses Zimmer. Bequeme Betten. Alles sehr sauber. Modernes Badezimmer und separate Badewanne. Reichhaltiges leckeres Frühstück mit gutem Kaffee. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Fabulous stay at the very comfortable Hotel Allalin in Saas-Fee. The staff were fantastic and the service was top-notch. We ate a lovely 5 course meal every evening in the restaurant and the food was excellent with a good choice of main courses and soups - breakfast also a winner. Our duplex room was perfect for our small family with 2 separate areas for sleeping upstairs for my wife and myself, and our 14 year old son. We also had a nice clean bathroom and a small TV area with a comfortable sofa. The whole hotel was immaculate and very clean and tidy. Loved the cake and tea set out in the foyer every afternoon for hungry skiers returning from a busy day on the slopes. There was also a handy ski-room for our skis and boots down at the Alpin Express ski lift. Evreything about the hotel was perfect for a family ski trip.
