Saint-Jean-de-Braye Hotels with Wi-Fi

We stopped by this hotel to break our long travel and we were not disappointed. We normally opt to stay at Novotels, if possible when we travel just because we know what to expect, comfortable beds, good location, clean rooms. We did get all this but so much more. The service in particular, was impeccable and went above and beyond the expectation. Shirley from the reception was extremely helpful. She was so accommodating with all our questions and she even went out of her way to translate for us when we needed help. She was also very welcoming and pleasant. The decor of the hotel is also a bit different from the standard decor that we see in other novotels, it was classy and cosy at the same time. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area again.

When you book a B&B hotel, you already know what you get. This also applies to this B&B hotel. What was new for us is that the reception was not manned when we arrived. We had already received proper notice of this. We were able to check in electronically and that worked fine. The room is not very spacious, but sufficient for us. All desired facilities were available. A very nice option was that the air conditioning turned off automatically when you opened the window and turned on again when you closed the window. Environmentally conscious. When the reception was manned, the employees were very helpful. When I wanted an extra pillow, it was arranged immediately. It was also well explained where we could eat and do groceries and how we could take the tram to the center of Orléans. Top! There was an Italian restaurant near the hotel, where you could get a 20% discount with the hotel bill. We ultimately did not use it, because there is another very good restaurant right next to the hotel. We ended up booking an extra night, because we also wanted to explore the Loire Valley for another day. When we extended our stay, we immediately received a new key code for the door. That was also arranged fine and quickly. That leaves breakfast. That was certainly well organized for a budget hotel like this. There was plenty of choice and the (chocolate) croissants were freshly baked in the hotel. We had a great time here.
