Not bad, it is the best hotel in Salta, and the price is slightly expensive. The city of Salta is still good. It means jumping in Spanish, which may be a step on the plateau.

The service attitude is ok, the breakfast is ok, and the swimming pool photo is ok. Other than that it was lackluster, the room was dank and shabby. It's really hard to live in: like sitting on pins and needles, like a light on your back. Just want to leave early. The conditions are really bad.

Would not recommend based on the fact that the mattresses seem to be very old pillows were not comfortable in the rooms haven’t seen a renovation in my guess of 15 to 20 years. Location however, is very good and for that I would recommend a visit.

Staying at this property was delightful and exceeded all expectation. The location is ideal - offering excellent access to the center of town, great views of the valley, and close proximity to a lovely and historic park. The service was exceptional and the rooms clean and comfortable. For me, it scored a perfect 10 on 3 ‘must haves’: a comfortable bed, great water pressure (seriously amazing temp and pressure) and reliable/comfortable HVAC. The food was great and afternoon tea time each day was ‘over the top.’ I have stayed at much more expensive properties and have not had service and amenities this nice. My compliments to the management and staff. Staying with you was a pleasure. Special recognition to the salon staff, the front desk and housekeeping staff. Everyone was so nice and everything was so professional.
Response from Property: Hello! In the name of entire staff of Sheraton Salta Hotel, I want to thank you for your exceptional review of our place. We celebrate that during your stayed, you have been able to enjoy the different services and amenities that we offer at the Hotel. If you come back to Salta City, we hope you choose us once again. Again, ¡thank you for your comments! Kind regards, Guest Services Staff.

Excellent choice if you want to stay one or two nights in Salta! The hotel is not in the city center, it is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. This is really great because the center of Salta can be very hectic so it's nice to rest in a quiet place, yet the hotel is still very close from the center (3 or 4min by taxi). The hotel furniture is not all new and certainly some things could be upgraded, but the hotel is excellent in terms of quality/price and staff are very nice and helpful. After 3 days driving around the Cafayate area, my partner and I returned the rental care and decided to stay in the city of Salta for two nights. A lot of the full-day excursions that take you to Jujuy (Salar Grande, Purmamarca, etc) leave from Salta, so it is a good idea to stay in the city if you want to settle and have a base. Most tour agencies know the Sheraton and will come pick you up here.
Response from Property: Hello! Thank you for your excellent review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us in Salta. We're thrilled that you found our location in a quiet and safe neighborhood conducive to comfortable rest. We appreciate your feedback on our facilities, and we're constantly working to improve them. It's great to hear that you found our value for money excellent and that our staff were friendly and helpful during your stay. We hope we provided you with a comfortable base for your explorations in Salta and its surroundings. We look forward to seeing you again in the future! Thank you for choosing us.

We spent three nights at the Sheraton whilst in Salta, not our original choice but suggested by our travel agent. A Sheraton is a Sheraton so a certain consistent quality is assumed and this hotel is no exception in that regard with a well appointed and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and an impressive breakfast provision. We also appreciated the lobby bar and its excellent menu. On the downside two particular points, one location - Salta sprawls and the Sheraton is not central and the immediate vicinity offers very little; two layout - our room really was a long walk from the elevator. The hot tub/jacuzzi in the pool area is looking a little tired I might add. A final word of praise for the hotel personnel, they are outstanding - nothing is too much trouble, they really go the extra mile.
Response from Property: Dear, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We hope to have the opportunity to offer you our services again soon. Best regards.

Big hotel on the outside edge of Salta lacking a certain vibe. Rooms seem business oriented - ours would have been vastly improved by the removal of the desk and the addition of an extra easy chair and a low table. The hotel is built into the side of the hill so one side of our very long corridor was rockface. The hotel must be one of the largest in Salta, and caters to lots of tour groups (from Quebec, while we were there). There is a gym and a pool with (rather grubby looking) jacuzzi. The staff are very helpful and friendly, breakfasts copious (lots of fresh fruit) with lots of juice and coffee refills. Food from the bar restaurant was excellent. The AC in the room was very loud, impossible to open the window.

This Hotel is located around 10 minutes Taxi Ride ( Appx 700 ARS) from Julio Plaza. We are grateful as they upgraded us to Club Room with Lounge Access due to My Marriott Bonvoy silver status. Room size is reasonably good ( 300-350 sq ft). Once We checked into our room... there was no Kettle, Cups, tea bags etc Our Intercom was not working which was promptly replaced. Then we called to send us kettle , cups & tea bags. House keeping service Level is average , while service level in Tapas bar/ Restaurant & in Club Lounge is good. Concierge is almost non -existent. Hotel Manager attitude is non cooperative towards Customers. Breakfast is good with nice varieties of salads/ fruits/Omelettes/juices etc. Taxi to airport takes around 20 min & cost approx 3200-3500 ARS. To summarise this hotel is mixed bag with with few positives & certain area need to be improved as per Sheraton standard.

Large hotel just outside the city centre (about a 15 min walk to the main square). At first appearances the hotel is a bit dated, and in some respects this is the case. However our room appeared recently renovated with a modern feel and massive new TV. Breakfast was very flexible, starting early to accommodate those going on day trips from Salta. It was varied and reasonable quality. We had room service one night, which was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

We had a very good stay at this Sheraton. We arrived late and weary from our flight to be checked in efficiently and helped to our room by the charming Francisco. He made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious and quiet, the bathroom was well designed with good lighting and a bath/shower combination that delivered a strong stream of hot water. The breakfast buffet available daily in the lobby was extensive and included lattes and hot chocolate served by a lovely young woman whose name I did not catch. Afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes was also available buffet style every afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although situated on a hill in a residential district, it wasn’t too far a walk to some restaurants. We had a rental car which allowed us to go further afield to the lovely Portal shopping center, the handicraft mercado and a day trip to Cachi (highly recommended). We’d definitely stay here again.

Ok stay. Just good for sleeping. The club lounge is still closed. But doesn't really matter anyways because most tours from Salta tend to be 12 hours minimum long, so by the time youre back at the hotel, the lounge is closed anyways. In lieu of this, they do have happy hour from 5PM - 7PM daily in the hotel lobby. Buffet mini sandwiches and desserts, as well as wine, etc. Looks unhygienic with all of the uncovered food literally smacked in the middle of the lobby. You also only get 2 complimentary water daily. Any more than that is 5USD a piece. They are also having ongoing renovations in the rooms any time of the day/night. One time, workers were banging furniture and walls right beside my room at past midnight (so rude). But a quick phone call to reception stopped that. I didn't bother taking photos of the property. Not worth my effort. But all the staffs here are great. Very friendly. The requests are accomplished very fast. Actually the vast majority of people in Salta are very friendly. I think the most positive aspect of this hotel is their staffs.
