Best Hotels near House of the Seven Lamps, Salvador

I liked the accommodations, however there is no telephone / intercom in the room, it is necessary to have a whatsapp contact, provided by them, for everything you need, I found it quite uncomfortable. Towels very shabby (rough), they should be replaced. Good breakfast, but with few seats, you have to wait depending on the time you arrive. Good cleanliness, attentive and helpful maids. There is a fridge in the room, but without any products inside. You can bring it from outside or ask them via whatsapp.

The hotel needs urgently a retirement, the room in which I stayed had a moof and the bathroom too. The lifts also need a reform. Breakfast needs improvements, needs to be more diversified. The bed linen and towels need to be exchanged, they were very wearing.

My family and I stayed at the Wish with interconnecting rooms in August 2022. This worked really well for us. Lobby area is large and airy with lovely decor. Pool area looked really nice but was not warm enough for us to use. The gym was modern with plenty of choice in equipment. Had some lovely evenings at the bar drinking cocktails made by Mauro. We were allocated rooms on level 11 so we had the perfect view over the city. Just wish the windows had been cleaned. Our view was a little cloudy! On one occasion we had music outside the park for us to listen to! Plus we watched some lads playing soccer. Room sizes were good. Beds were supercosy with good selection of pillows. The decor was a little tired and could do with freshening up. There was a musty damp scent in the room on arrival which we resolved by opening the window. This must be due to the climate where its warm and wet in Winter. Breakfast was lovely each morning with lots of choice. Just wish they had some plant based alternatives. E.g soya milk, margarine etc. Outside the Wish hotel is a park which a huge monument and fountain, if you wish to take a morning stroll/jog. There are council exercise machines next to the childrens playground. We were fortunate to see Capoeira training going on. Other than that there is nothing else. A short cab ride away will take you to Bahia shopping mall - Really good food court on ground floor here - Oriental, Italian and Brazilian. Plus a good place to do a money exchange. Cash is king here guys! The tourist spots like praca da sa, Pelourinho, Rio Vermelho etc are 1.5 miles away. Hotel taxis accept card payments. Which is really convenient. Be prepared to hold on to dear life when taking a random taxi from the street. Some drive like lunatics. Our taxi from airport to hotel was like this. Maybe its worth booking a hotel transfer with Wish. Overall if I could afford the Fasano I would stay there for the luxury plus location,but if you require something more easy on the pocket and away from the madness of the tourist areas, I would choose Wish de Bahia. Simple but very comfortable hostel, cleaning is perfect, beds are comfortable and very good shower, top air conditioning and quiet environment. It has stairs for the rooms, and in the room we stayed, we had to climb about 3 stairs, with a little bag was uncomfortable. The breakfast is simple but very tasty, with natural juice, yoghurt, mexed eggs, jelly, bread and cookies. It has a pool, but we don't use it. The hostel is very close to the pepper, we went to walk there as well as day and night. In terms of safety, it is good to walk in group or Uber, because the hair rounds are dangerous, not recommended to walk with jewelry and phone at the show.

Outstanding service by the people who’s working here. They’re made sure I’m aware and familiar with everything at the hotel and showed real care about my well-being. Hotel location just across the beach and even some people saying it’s not good beach I’ve have a good time. There is everything you need around the hotel, supermarkets, small shops, pharmacies etc. Uber easy take you to main tourist attraction within 20 min ride and it’s cheap. Breakfast is like in most hotels whoever very good quality and presentation. Really happy with stay. Highly recommended.

This hotel is simple but it has everything you need. The pool is great and the internet connection by the pool works better than the rooms. It is located near restaurants, bars, groceries stores, and pharmacies. Breakfast could improve. I wish they had more local tropical fruits. However, breakfast is simple but well served. Located just steps from the beach, which is calm and not lots of waves. Good for kids.

the room was very good as well as the air condicioned, the cleaning, also the breakfast, the food and my special thanks to the patissier he makes delicious desserts, i wib two kilos because of that... I also want to thank all the staff for their kind attention and excellent simpatie.

We like the cost-benefit! Room and bathroom very clean and smellful! clean and pleasant decoration! All worked well during the stay: wi-fi, air, hot shower, TV. Wonderful shower! Super friendly service! Area of coffee ventilated. The hotel's location (although you take care of who will visit the football stadium) is not one of the most tourists and it is recommended only for who can walk in the city. We identified that the morning coffee has a variety of foods (fruit, eggs, bread, coffee, omelets, tapioca, etc.). However, even when we arrived early at coffee, as many guests had, some options ended and we couldn't eat because they were not answered.

Hotel maravilhoso, de cara. Amei a recepção, a supervisora que nos recebeu, muito agradável, receptiva, comunicativa (não lembro o nome da mesma) , nos acolheu muito bem, comida excelente, preço muito bom, café da manhã impecável. Até então, tudo certo ao chegar no hotel, tivemos acesso a nossa suíte, eu e o meu marido amamos, super limpo, ambiente confortável, saímos do quarto e fomos conhecer o hotel, assim que voltamos para o quarto, meu esposo notou que a banheira estava suja de poeira parecendo cinza de cigarro, sendo que antes de sairmos do quarto, estava tudo limpo, sem poeira alguma, ou seja lá o que foi o que estava dentro da banheira.. meu marido ficou intrigado, supondo que alguém poderia ter entrado no quarto, sem que estejamos, mas eu preferir ignorar, preferi acreditar que poderia ter subido do ralo da banheira (impossível, pois o ralo estava fechado) o local onde a água sai da banheira.. continuamos a aproveitar nossa estadia, no check in fomos informados sobre algumas regras, e no quarto tem várias plaquinhas informando algumas regras, tais como “fumar dentro do quarto, será cobrado uma taxa de 60,00) justo!! Até comentei com meu esposo que achei interessante, pq as vezes as pessoas tratam as coisas dos outros com desleixo, quebram e sai do hotel deixando prejuízos, assim ficaria claro que o prejuízo seria pago pelo hóspede, ok! No dia seguinte do check out, fomos acusados de ter fumado dentro da suíte, primeiro foi nos perguntado, e eu logo disse que não fumamos, somos evangélicos e não fazemos o uso do cigarro nem de qualquer bebida alcoólica, e ainda assim fomos acusados, afirmando que sim, tinha cinzas no quarto e até cheiro, um absurdo, uma mentira cabulosa, fiquei decepcionado, muito constrangida, meu esposo rebateu a recepcionista informando o que tinha acontecido sobre encontramos a banheira com sujeira, até sobre a possibilitar de ter entrado alguém no quarto, ela continuou acreditando que fumamos sim dentro do quarto, sai do hotel super frustrada, constrangida e todo meu pensamento de amor pelo hotel, se transformou em raiva, frustração, constrangimento. Enfim, nunca mais voltarei a esse hotel, não quero correr o risco de ser constrangida novamente por pessoas irresponsáveis!

I went to sleep quietly, I would stay only one night, I stayed in a top room, at the 21st floor. The next day to go down to breakfast I found that the 4 lifts were stopped due to a canoe break. ok that accidents happen and there was little to do, But I think it lacked a little crisis management by the staff who did not have a lot of tattoo to deal with the situation so strange. I had to go down and climb the 21 floors by the stairs. I had paid a part in points and a part in money for staying. and a lot of money. I am very pleased to have the money returned, but in any way I think there is a lack of better risk and crisis management in situations like this.
