We mostly enjoyed the experience. The buildings and grounds are very beautiful and the staff are very efficient. It is very peaceful. The food was the weak point. It ranged from very poor to average and really needs to be taken in hand by a chef with a vision. Even the premium restaurants were no better. Next time we will eat elsewhere in the evening. It is debatable whether the Reserve is worth paying extra for, given that it ceases to be available after 6pm. I think I'll skip it next time.

Pros It was hot Comfy beds and great linen Quiet and no smoking hotel Buffet selection was great Some of the staff were lovely and worked so hard. Some good and bad (hilarious) entertainment. We like a bad act though. Cons Some of the staff were lovely and worked really hard. Some of them clearly didn't love their job and were surly. Took ages to get coffee in the morning and cutlery and a cup. It's not all inclusive which really annoyed me. It's the principle. I don't want to pay 20€ for a bowl of cabonara.. Italian was the worst. Poor waiter called Hector working so hard whilst 3 managers floating around. Probably one of the worst meals I've had. Waited 20 mins for a glass of wine in an empty restaurant. Pool shack bar was good due to the food and Robert who worked so hard. Michelin star was not great. Had better pub meals. No managers in sight checking how guests were. They need to go on the Ikos staff training course. Overall a great week in the sun but I wouldn't rush back to a Melia. Maybe you have spoilt us. No one asked us at anytime how the stay was. It's a 4 ⭐️ and at c£600 less than an Ikos at peak overpriced.

Really good holiday hotel. Splendid sea front location, nicely laid out gardens and poll area. The room on the retreat level was very good, comfortable bed, well equipped & roomy. Nice variety of restaurants, quality food well prepared, good staff. Gin ger bar a good big bar with an extensive terrace, plus an attached night club style bar. A nice variety of entertainment and a visiting astronomer with telescopes and observatory, which was brilliant. One small crib the Michelin Star restaurant was a bit disappointing. Used to good restaurants and looking forward to this. Iw is a bit of a temple of food experience and the meal had to be explained! We chose the chef’s selection, at additional cost and it was all a bit overblown and not that good. I was expecting a high traditional Spanish restaurant and it would have been far better if it had been.

This hotel is extremely frustrating- it could be outstanding but the service level is poor which creates guests dissatisfaction. The facilities are excellent the rooms very comfortable and the setting is lovely however the service and food is questionable. The lounge is comfortable but you wait a lifetime to be served and delivery of order. At breakfast the food is cold and on several occasions tables remain unclean so minimal seating. The room is nice but not cleaned thoroughly and sheets not changed during a ten day stay 🤮🤮 All inclusive and trying to compete with Ikos brand- no chance ! You are served a glass of wine rather than left the bottle and not easily topped up. The gym is small and far too hot and cramped- I gave up but normally would go daily Sorry would not return and so disappointed as if the manager trained and directed the staff it could work

Kids club is brilliant, my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed. The location and view from my room was lovely. Staff were generally very good and attentive. Bed was blissfully comfortable. Gym good equipment But … I have never had to queue for drinks by the pool at a five star hotel. There are so many good points about this hotel but the food definitely needs attention.. I love my seafood and shellfish.. which was available and quality looked good.. but the chefs need training how to cook it… mostly overcooked and once undercooked… which was hugely disappointing . Generally the food was not upto standard expected. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. Get the food right, chefs trained properly and have a few more staff serving round the pool area and this hotel would be somewhere families will want to return to….

We’ve just got home after a wonderful week at Paradisus by Meliá, Gran Canaria. As anxious first time parents, nervous about travelling with a 15 week old baby, our nerves were quickly put to rest as soon as we arrived. The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and had everything we needed to hand too, including a baby bath, travel cot, and bottle sterilising machine (it saved us packing more things!) As well as beautiful clean rooms and an all round stunning hotel, we are also both vegan and were well catered for. The guest experience team and waiting staff did everything they could to make sure we were well fed for the week, which we were, a little too much if anything! There are however, a few things that would have been nice. • Drinks service at the pool, to save us going up to the bar every time. • Better sea view in the premium ocean view bedrooms (we were on the second floor, so palm trees and the hotel grounds were blocking the sea) • More creativity when it came to our meals. Although the chefs provided us with most things we asked for, some dishes could have been better. For example, we asked for tofu bao buns, we which got, but it would have been nice if they added some grated carrot, spring onions, even sauce. It very much felt like we had to request our food for the week, but it would have been nice to have some of the chefs recommendations on occasions too! Apart from that, I would whole heartedly recommend staying at this hotel and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

De All inclusive formule is buitengewoon.

No suelo escribir reseñas.
