Another disappointing experience. The booking price was more than 4,000 and one night. I thought it was better than Liz. The result was that I found a Samsung hotel and the front desk offered two thousand. Two big and one small gave two single bed rooms, the front desk means to act according to the order. She has no responsibility. The room we booked is wrong. The problem is that Ctrip can answer that I have paid such a high price. I can't get the corresponding service because I chose the wrong one? At checkout, there was an additional $30 in facility fees per day, but the Ritz Hotel did not. According to Ctrip's regulations, this fee is paid separately by me. Ctrip defines the rules as perfect for themselves, without any problems. I just want to remind you that it is very simple for me. I paid a high premium. My expectation is to get better service. I can live comfortably in two big and small, I will not spend too much time researching. How big is the bed, and there is an extra cost to pay. Where can I provide a satisfactory reservation service, I am going to book it, but Ctrip is obviously not. Thank you, goodbye Ctrip.

I am a member of BonVoy ( is chain belongs) Beautiful the flavor inside I ask additional water and bring you to touch , the same with any amenities , I asked a refrigerator to / store medicine and brought it to touch Located close to everything ( China Town and shopping centre ) Welcome you when you pass the front desk , Always !!! We chose this hotel as part of a package deal with BA. The location is great, the view from the room and service staff (bell hop, cleaning team etc) we're lovely. There were definitely more cons than pros for this place. We requested a replenishment of tea, creamer and sugar which never arrived. We ordered a $7 croissant which took 45mins to arrive and even after the $6 delivery charge and 15% the bill was $24?! We sent that back. We asked the reception for some advice on a travel ticket, which was wrong. The first day we decided to try breakfast at the hotel, I strongly recommend finding somewhere else. It was almost $100 for 2 classic breakfasts (toast, egg, bacon or sausage) and some OJ, not worth the money AT ALL. When we gave our feedback on checkout, the front of house was dismissive, unapologetic and we are leaving feeling disappointed with that service. Such a shame

I had a fantastic time at this hotel. I booked a fairmont exterior king room with a view. The room itself was nice but what I really liked was the walk in wardrobe and luxurious marble bathroom with his and hers sinks. Breakfast at the hotel and dinner in the Tonga room was also really good. Customer Service was top dollar. The only criticisms I would have are that:- 1) There was only one functioning lift from the main foyer to hotel rooms, 2) upon checking in a hold fee of $100 per night is placed on your debit/ credit card (only returnable 5-7 days after departure) and 3) some of the meals were overpriced, I was charged approx $55 for a medium sized pizza and bottle of water on one night. Overall, enjoyed my stay and would return.

It is a clear and tidy hotel with no doubt. However, some of its staff were extremely rude. I went down to ask them if the hotel offered turndown services. The man starred at me then asked, in a highly disrespectful tone, “what do you mean by a turndown service?” Completely shocked that I would encounter such a question at a Nikko hotel, I could not say a word for like ten seconds while that man continued starring at me. How can I reason his behavior if not an intentional embarrassment?

I used to be a frequent guest at the W SF back when it was Starwood but had not visited since Marriott took over the W Brand. I did try and stay last year but before arriving I read that the restaurant was closed and I asked the hotel what they were doing as an alternative, but they had absolutely nothing for Platinum Breakfast (other than 1k points per stay which is a HUGE downgrade), so I opted for another hotel. I had high expectations for this stay as I had previously loved this hotel, but as a frequent traveler in Marriott brands and having one of their Highest Elite traveler statuses (and staying at W Brands lately), I knew service levels were still suffering post pandemic. Unfortunately, it started low right from the beginning. I had confirmed a Studio Suite in advance. When I arrived, I was given a corner room that almost seemed smaller than standard rooms (Room 2109). I inquired about upgrades to larger rooms, and I was told no, because it was a busy weekend, and nothing would be available. I checked on the app and saw that every room type was available for the length of my stay and beyond. I was basically DOWNGRADED. Once settling into the room, then I realized the major issues. Smaller rooms should be easier to clean, right? Well, this one not only had carpet stains, but I quickly found out that the ”Marriott Commitment to Clean” was actually a Commitment to Ignore. Not only were their stains on the carpet and dust and dirt in the windowsills, I found a previous guest's room keys sitting on the counter. Obviously, the room was just ”re-set” and not inspected or cleaned at all. I guess the promised sanitizing was out of the question. We then went to get some ice and noticed that the ice bucket was half filled with standing water. It was disgusting! Thats not the worst part, I then found a pair of women's ”play-style” lingerie slightly soiled sitting on the floor by the sofa. I mentioned the cleanliness issues to the Front Desk, but the representative simply stared at me and then asked if there was anything else I needed? I should have been a bit more insistent that they take it down, but I was so shocked I did not. The room setup, although smaller than what I wanted and pre-confirmed, was also not great. There is no storage at all other than the closet. There are no drawers at all or other places to keep clothes or anything else. If you have two suitcases, you are going to have to keep them out as there is no place to put them in the closet. Other than the Front Desk and Room Condition, we had a nice stay, although the Room is really what we paid for. The rest of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were great, and the food was amazing! Kudos for them for sure! Actually, the only place I was every recognized or thanked for being a Marriott Elite was from the hostess at Breakfast. The bellhop was also quite nice and helpful when we checked-out and needed to store lugga

I loved the atmosphere of the hotel - high ceilings, wooden floors, old elevator, worn wood wall panels in the bar/breakfast area. Very comfortable, clean, well appointed rooms, friendly staff. Smallish room, which was fine for me. Just an all around pleasant experience for me. The one small drawback was the ”rainfall” shower head, which was on an unnecessarily tall goose neck, was so high that I could hardly reach it to tilt it a bit so the water didn't fall so close to the valve (wouldn't have mattered - it was rigid), which meant warm water cooled before it reached my body. Also, I would have liked to have been able to open the windows just a little for fresh air. Well, okay, another drawback was the construction going on at a nearby site, which meant noise, even at night. Didn't keep me from getting a good rest, though.

Friendly desk staff. The building is old but the elevator is atmosphere and pretty. In the room I was a little worried about the air conditioning noise. I heard a little bit even though I was squeezed. San Francisco lacks parking space, but I had a good parking lot around the hotel, and the parking lot of the hotel affiliated parking lot was a bit expensive, but still (thanks to that) Efficiently, I could save as much money as I could. Best service beyond the shortcomings! Breakfast service. Really delicious ~~ ^^ And the hot water pressure was great ♡ I'm going to this hotel again.

When I booked it, I can live for 4 people. As a result, 2 people feel that the room is too small compared to Shanghai. The Marriott is too far away, and the price is high. My room and furnishings were acceptable for my four day business stay. The room door has large gaps around it, though. This permits all hallway noise to be heard in the room. Worse, it allows all the ********* smoke into the room. My coworker was two floors up from me and complainedbabout the same issue I had trouble sleeping because the ********* smoke was so thick in my room. I stuck a towel under the room door, where the biggest gap was, but I had nothing to block the gaps on the top or the sides of the door. Without the ********* smoke issue and some noise issues, I would recommend Hotel Icon to male travelers.
