We stayed at this new hotel for a week and location wise it was perfect for accessing Fira. The decor is minimalist and it was super clean. Fresh towels daily which we really appreciated. The breakfast was perfect for what we wanted, going at 8.30-9.30 wasn’t that busy and lots to choose from. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodative. The reason for 4 stars would be that there are limited sun loungers around and people would reserve them with towels so if you wanted one in the afternoon it was almost impossible. I’d suggest adding more around the childrens pool area. There are a lot of comments on the showers leaking which ours did too but seeing as the rooms were cleaned daily I don’t think it was a big deal. The thing that did bug me was paying for new coffee pods in the room, considering the price you pay and that it is now a 5 star hotel I would say they should remove the cost for additional pods as it really should be included. We opted to buy some from the local shop which cost around €3. I would stay again as the location and facilities were great!

Absolutely fabulously fantastic, the Astro Palace is one of the true hidden gems in Santorini. To see it, to stay there, and to experience it, is to believe it, as words alone cannot describe the sheer beauty of this property. We stayed from 28th July 2022 through to 5th August 2022, to be honest, we didn't want to leave!🙈 The food was wonderful, the breakfast was buffet style but there was plenty selection from cold meat to full English. The dinner was wonderful too, the Greek Caeser salad was delicious 😋😋😋 The staff are one of the best and well trained I've ever experienced in my widely travelled life. The moment you set foot into the hotel, you're welcomed with the most beautiful smiles and you're treated like royalty. I would like to give special thanks to Hope, Anna-Maria, Efi, Natalie and Ahmed (the best front desk people I have ever seen), their warm welcome, their ever smiling faces, their knowledge, their care and their humanity is beyond description. Thank you all so much for making my wife and I feel like royalty and at home, your customer care is the best I have ever experienced, and I have travelled far and wide. Location - Prime location in Fira and steps away from the main walkway. Although there is parking nearby, it's quite a far walk. If you do bring a car, find your location, call the hotel, and they have a vehicle that can pick you up. Otherwise book your transfer directly through the hotel for more convenience, and you won't need to lug you baggage around to get there. Room - Our room was large and spacious. We were booked in a Junior Suite Sharing Pool. Impeccably clean and well stocked. There was a rock inside, and if you needed your room cleaned, you set it out front and the cleaners would stop by. We didn't end up using the pool, however, the water was cold when we tested it. Breakfast - There was a lot to choose from, I loved that they had some authentic Greek items everyday to enjoy too! We never left hungry! Staff - the staff was so accommodating and friendly. They brought us a drink upon arrival, and checked us in quickly. The staff gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us our rooms, our luggage was delivered almost immediately. I don't recall if there was an elevator or not, but there are a lot of steps, which is expected in Santorini. I will definitely stay here again, and I recommend anyone reading this books here too!

This review is specifically to thank Panos (Mr Panagiotis Papadopoulos) for his superb customer service during our brief trip to Santorini and our stay at the Solaris Apartments - We'd flown out to look at a boat we thought we might buy so we didn't check in to almost midnight - nonetheless the welcome was highly professional and friendly despite the late hour - we were also very relieved to be directed to a nearby restaurant still serving food. Departing for the London the next morning in a car kindly booked by the hotel for us I accidentally left my mobile phone in the room and Panas did an outstanding job liaising with the local couriers I booked to return it to me in London Customer service was exemplary and I'd have no hesitation in recoomending a stay here whether for business or pleasure. Close to your eyes, this structure is located in a strategic point, just a step from the center of Fira and the boiler, it is the central node to reach every point of the island even with the bus (the station is behind the house). George was not wonderful to say with us. He welcomed us with wine and sweet, he reported many points and locals to visit and was of a wonderful sweetness and availability. The accommodation is magnificent, equipped with all comfort and care in detail. We'll be back. Thank you very much!

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and had the best time. The hotel was reasonably priced for Santorini and very clean. The staff went above and beyond and are a real credit to the hotel. The hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the port. The taxi was waiting for us when we arrived. Luca who was on reception was so inviting and friendly. He gave us lots of information and made suggestions on where to visit. A friendly guy then took our cases to our room. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. We had a lovely little pool view room. The hotel is so clean and towels are changed daily. The cleaners were very friendly. Breakfast is served daily. It is pretty basic but very fresh and is topped up until the minute it finishes at 10am. The guy at the bar was super friendly and always had a smile on his face. Nothing was a problem. The location is fantastic. You are about a 5/10 min walk from Fira. I would recommend using the public busses. The bus terminal is about a 5 minute walk and the busses go everywhere. They are no more than 2 euros. Defiantly visit Oia this is wheee you will get lots of beautiful pictures and views. We got the bus to Kamari which was lively too. Lots of lovely restaurants which are cheaper than fira and beaches too. I would recommend hiring a quad. The hotel arranged this for us and it was 50 euros for the day. We managed to go around the full island exploring. Over all we had the best honeymoon and couldn’t than the staff enough for the great service.

My partner and I enjoyed this place very much. The facilities are great and the location is perfect for food, attractions and getting around the island. We got a nice room with a sea view balcony, perfect for romantic sunsets. The hotel also has a beautiful outdoor area with a nice swimming pool. Breakfast is great and they try to cater to most everyone. You can even get your breakfast on platter and eat it outside by the pool. The staff in general are very friendly and helpful (true Greek hospitality). The receptionists will do their best to find the right information for you and accommodate your requests within reason. The ladies working at breakfast are so sweet. They receive you with a nice smile and explain everything. I would definitely stay there again!

A family hotel, away from the hustle and bustle and at the same time superbly close to the center, and above all, close to the local bus station. The facility is built in the Cycladic style, it has rooms furnished modestly, but sufficiently: air conditioning is working, flat TV with a local TV on the wall, fridge, dressing table, hair dryer. The rooms have windows overlooking the pool or the sea. It is possible to go out to the roof terraces or the terrace in front of your room. We admired the sunrise from the roof terrace. The hotel and its surroundings are well-kept. Rooms and place around the hotel, including the swimming pool, are cleaned daily. Towels changed daily. The hotel is located on one of the main roads in Fira, however the traffic is not very troublesome for staying at the hotel. The Hosts are very nice and thoughtful. If something is needed, it will be taken care of by them. The hotel offers breakfast and tries to be varied and at least contain elements of Greek cuisine. I recommend!

Booked through booking.com and all communication with hotel was fast and helpful. They booked us a taxi for our 1am arrival (20 euro, 15 min) and there was a lock box for a swift and easy entry. We had Room 1, 2 bedroom apartment, 2 balconies over looking the road for great traffic watching but also a lovely view of the sea. A lovely surprise was fresh water and breakfast (wrapped croissant and juice) in the fridge. An amazing bakery is 2 min walk up the busy road. The caldera view is 2 min walk up the quieter side road and Fira itself just a 5 min walk away. Loads of interesting shops, cafes, restaurants and many opportunities to see THE view. There were lots of common space at the hotel, outside tables, sun loungers and a pool with a jacuzzi end. A shared Taxi to the port was 25euro (again booked by hotel) or the bus goes at 11 and 1 and would be 1.6e (standing room only we heard) Staff were friendly and helpful and we could leave luggage in reception on check out day. Pool shower and toilet useful after check out. The only downside is the road noise, traffic passes 24 hrs a day, often with windows down, music blaring. You can hear the rumble by the pool and from the room at the front we had, but worth it for the convenience of walking into Fira.
