As soon we Checked-in, we were on the good hands of Mr Sean (big thanks to him and the other staff) for handling all our small issues. Upgraded the room when we asked politely. Perfect view from the balcony. The kids have a lot of activities in the hotel ( we just have to go out at night and eat outside as limited choice for the international food inside the hotel) Beach is perfect and you are allowed to swim until the security close it at 7pm with a lock 🤣 (kidding of course). Breakfast is full of choices for everyone ( especially if you eat Chinese style breakfast) but expect line up and very friendly staff which are there to bring you anything you want (salmon and cheese included) Water Sports activities is worth the money.

A great pleasure in MGM...deserve to revisit in future. I wish in here to express my sincere thanks to the high standard of service of Sean 小肖. He deserves a credit of his good work during my stay.

A great holiday in Sany will never be relish with the exceptional service of Jelly Shen in MGM Grand Sanya. She has distinguish herself as someone above board in customer relations and surprised me with a bday cake and goodies plus a great service on my birthday. It was memorable as that day every guest was stuck in the hotel due to Typhoon Yagi and it helps ease the fears of the Typhoon looming. Thank you once again for an examplery stay and service.

Secluded location suitable for quiet getaway. Large hotel with a private beach and other beach activities that can keep families occupied for the whole day.

Our stay in MGM grand Sanya was amazing, it’s me, my wife and two kids! Since we did the check-in the staff was very friendly and they assigned a Guest relation expert to assist us during our stay, her name is Jelly Shen (Jelly小沈). She was absolutely amazing, anything we need she was ready to help, even booking restaurant outside hotel or helping us buying medicines for our kids and helping to get friendly with hotel agenda. Really amazing, she made our stay better! About the hotel, they have a nice structure, I stayed in the family room with golf course view, very big room and very clean! The only thing as sometimes trick, is that there is no options of western food on the hotel dinner. There is a buffet at swimming pool and we feel that they could have like a sandwich, French fries or pizza there, it would make even more pleasant our stay once it’s an international hotel. That was the only thing we miss there! The beach was really at doorstep and very clean, with staff always helping there. There were also a lot of activities for the kids.

What an incredible and relaxing stay. Great amenities, lovely breakfast and all made much more enjoyable with the help of Mr Green Chen, who made sure that everything was that much more enjoyable. Thank you Mr Chen!

Second time in this hotel. Really wonderful stay. Beautiful rooms, good food, friendly staff and great location. Everything about our stay was awesome.

A great cozy hotel, with a large beautiful territory. It is equally suitable for a family holiday and for a romantic one. Concerts are organized for fans of parties, and if you want silence, there is also a place to retire. In addition to the standard set, there are beach slippers and a beach bag (you can not take extra pounds with you). There is even a petting zoo on the 1st floor. There is a separate organized space for children. There are many places for walking within walking distance. Of the 2 restaurants for breakfast, I liked Pin Ju Hainan Restaurant the most. The beach bar makes excellent kebabs. The sea is clean and calm. Yalong Bay beach is clean, the waves are rare and not big. We were from May 11, 2024 to May 24, there were no jellyfish or plankton, we swam for days, no one bit)). The service is 5+, the staff knows their business. I would like to express special thanks to Dorothy's manager. A super tactful professional. She helped us a lot in solving various issues, warned us, advised us, and promptly resolved all issues that arose. We have not met such managers for as long as we travel. I would give Dorothy the award: "best manager of the year." Special thanks to Dorothy for your attention. In general, by all criteria (beach holidays, medicine, shopping, entertainment), I liked Hainan more than Phuket, the Philippines and Turkey. The climate is very comfortable, at a temperature of +33-35, we did not die from the heat, apparently due to optimal humidity. We will definitely come back)))

We loved our stay here, the hotel is amazing! The view from every room is magnificent, and the beach is pristine. We were especially impressed with the service and hospitality - we loved our personal concierge Jelly! She promptly took care of everything we needed and she made our stay there especially pleasant. Her service and her attitude were very impressive! We will definitely come back!

Very good experience. The restaurants and cafes in the hotel are a bit overpriced… but I guess this is normal for hotels in China. You still can go out or order food from Meituan. The staff was very nice. Jelly and Harry took good care of us and we felt very welcome.

If you like hotels with many activities then MGM is right hotel for you. Water sports on the beach, zip line, adventure park, surfing, ... The pools water is very warm and you have to be fast to catch the chairs around the pool. The gym on others side needs an upgrade, equipment ist old, rusty and treadmill make squeaky sounds while using. Breakfast is good but need go very early... As foreigners get the contact from Candy at reservation and she will help you with all requests.

We stayed there as a family with 2 kids. Everywhere and every hours we could find enjoyable activities for them , kids never bored. Reaching to beach or pool is so easy. Restaurant and meal options are so rich. All nights you can enjoy shows from talented team. Hotel staffs are so helpful and kind. some of them did their best always to make us satisfied. Especially 魏敏 Wei Min helped us a lot. We are so thankful to her and her all kind colleagues.

We love MGM Sanya. It is a family hotel with lots of if kids. I came here with my wife and it’s totally fine too. We traveled around China and stayed in all 5 stars hotel and this is much wife’s favorite. The view from our room is amazing. It’s garden and Mountain View. We enjoyed the pool and beach. There’s show at night and the breakfast is one of the best. It’s very clean and although the hotel is over 10 years but it still looks new. Friendly staffs and it’s one of the place we would come back again. Glad we pick this hotel.

I booked the hotel for my 3 days holiday. I would say this was a memorable experience for me at MGM. It has a great location at Yalong Bay, with just a few minutes walk to the beach. The outdoor of the hotel looks like a waterworld park, with a lot of swimming & sunbathing places, and even a small water playground for kids. I enjoyed the surf experience in the hotel. Room was very clean, and tidy, and up to standard. We were staying in the lagoon room, with a swimming pool in the front. The pool water was very clean. The breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of both Western and Chinese foods. Staff were super nice and really helpful especially Jelly Shen, who ensured a smooth transition of our room. She provided the flexibility and arranged different outdoor activities for us since we are not good in mandarin, and also provided sightseeing advices within the area. In these 3 days, she was more like a friend of us, provided exceptional support for our need. This was one of our best travel experience we had ever. I would highly recommended to stay here for those who like water activities or with kids.
