"Our family of five, four adults and one baby, booked two rooms. Upon arrival, staff member #1 was incredibly helpful with our luggage – we had a lot! They were super enthusiastic and patient. When I booked, I didn't realize the rooms were in separate buildings, but front desk staff #6 and #10 (if I recall correctly, hotel management please verify who was working around 2:30 PM during check-in, my memory isn't the best) were so thoughtful. To keep our family together, they directly upgraded us to a sea-view villa! It was absolutely fantastic; our family could stay together, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. It had three rooms: two single beds on the first floor and two king-sized beds on the second, each with its own bathroom. It was incredibly convenient for our family! Plus, it's super, super close to the beach, with a special sand play area for babies. The hotel also has a swimming pool, and our baby never wanted to get out of the water, having a blast every day! Breakfast was also excellent; we ate very well daily! There were tons of Russians, making it feel like we were abroad, haha! My elder's shoes went missing, and staff member #1 meticulously checked the surveillance footage, quickly locating the shoes which had been forgotten in a corner. I hadn't even noticed the shoes were gone, but the staff member diligently searched for them for my elder. Housekeeper #5 also added me on WeChat and was very dedicated, asking about our stay preferences and experience, and continued to help search for the shoes. They even notified my elder and me immediately once they were found. They also arranged a late check-out until 2 PM. I honestly feel like two days was far too short; I could have stayed indefinitely! Our experience in Southern China was excellent, and we'll definitely come back if we get the chance!"

"The service was quite enthusiastic. The hotel's location is also pretty good; we ate at the mall next door for three days, which was very convenient. It would be even more convenient if traveling with parents. There was a slight issue with the room we checked into on the first day, but after contacting the hotel, they immediately upgraded us to a better room on the second day. Much appreciated!"

"My stay at the Sanya Coconut Grove Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel is surrounded by lush coconut groves, exuding a charming tropical vibe everywhere you look. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was very comfortable, and I could see swaying palm trees right from my balcony. The staff were all very friendly and provided meticulous service. The location is also very convenient, just a ten-minute walk to the beach. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it an ideal choice for a vacation. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind in Sanya!"

"Bodhi Hotel is our top choice for a Sanya vacation! The spacious rooms, starting from 64 sqm, were a wonderful surprise. The mahogany decor felt incredibly luxurious, and the large panoramic balcony offered lovely garden views. It's just a 15-minute drive to Phoenix Airport and 5 minutes to Sanya Station, making it super convenient to cycle along Coconut Dream Corridor and chase the sunset – pure bliss! The value for money is absolutely fantastic. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic and helpful; Guest Relations Xiao Lu was always responsive and ready to assist. The all-in-one resort experience is simply amazing. The 33,000 sqm Amazon Water Park and Kids' Adventure Kingdom are right downstairs, keeping the little ones entertained and not wanting to leave. Adults can also explore the shopping street and check out the Movie Workshop, enjoying a full day of fun without even leaving the resort!"

"Facilities: The facilities are very comprehensive, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the renovation years ago. Hygiene: Very clean and meticulous; even the tissues are from 'Qingfeng' (a well-known brand). Environment: The environment is fantastic, it's a sea-view room. Checking in at night wasn't as stunning as it would have been during the day – the daytime view is absolutely superb, especially when the sun is out. If you don't pull the thick curtains, you wake up to the sea right outside. Downstairs, there's a pool for adults and children, as well as swings, hammocks, and even little cats. Service: I'd especially like to commend the front desk staff. The guy at the front desk even upgraded my room to console me after I lost my ID after picking up my luggage at the airport. When I mentioned I was worried about mosquitoes, the lady at the front desk said they'd send a mosquito repellent device to the room. When we checked in and went downstairs, there were staff members to help carry our luggage to the second floor."

"The scenery is beautiful, and both the hotel's front desk lady and the room attendants are very nice. I stay at this hotel every time I come to Sanya, and have been for several years in a row. Getting to and from the island is also very convenient with the shuttle bus. There's a new Sanya Bay No. 1 diagonally opposite the island entrance, which has a large supermarket and many restaurants. It's very convenient. There are also free duty-free shuttle buses at the island entrance..."

"This airport hotel truly exceeded my expectations! It's super convenient, just a short walk of a few minutes: exit Gate 2, cross the road, and take an escalator. Perfect for catching an early flight or arriving late, saving a lot of time and hassle. The room was much cleaner and tidier than I anticipated, and the soundproofing was the biggest surprise! The double-paned windows are amazing; once closed, you can barely hear the planes taking off or landing, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The service was also incredibly heartwarming. I have to commend Ah Hao (Guest Relations), Xiao Yue (Front Desk), and Kiki (Front Office Manager) – they proactively reached out before check-in to confirm our needs and provide detailed directions. When we encountered issues after checking in, they helped resolve them immediately, always with professionalism and warmth. The highlight for us was how much our child loved it. We booked a runway view room, and you could clearly see planes taking off and landing right from our window. Our child stared out for ages, completely mesmerized. Later, when we moved to other hotels, they kept saying, ”I don't like sea views, I like hotels where I can see planes.” Highly recommend to anyone traveling with kids or needing to catch a flight!"

"The room was spacious and quite clean, and the bed was comfortable. Although I didn't book a sea view room, I could still see Sanya Bay Beach from the window. There's a swimming pool on the fourth floor. Everything else was very comfortable, except for the incredibly noisy square dancing at night (which is a Sanya Bay attraction issue, not the hotel's problem). The hotel service was good; the front desk was staffed even when my flight arrived at 2 AM. The next day, when they cleaned the room, they even provided laundry detergent, which felt very thoughtful."

"We stayed in a panoramic room, and the space was both clean and generously sized. You definitely pay for the view, and in this case it’s worth it—the scenery from the room is truly marvellous. Most essentials were provided, and the hotel grounds include several conveniences such as on‑site restaurants, a Starbucks, and a small tuck shop. There were, however, a few areas where the experience could be improved. The swimming facilities were disappointing. Although two pools were technically operational, neither felt inviting or photo‑worthy. One had been converted into a sand pit, and temporary barriers were set up everywhere to block day visitors, which created an eye sore. Construction further took away from the atmosphere. Breakfast offered a decent selection and was sufficient overall, though friends who had visited before mentioned that the spread used to be better. After a few days, you’ll likely find yourself eating more or less the same items. Communication could also be smoother. Having at least one staff member who speaks English—or an alternative text‑based communication option—would make the stay easier for international guests. The Sky Lounge, however, was comfortable and a pleasant place to relax. Dining inside the hotel isn’t particularly affordable, but not too bad for a hotel, and I would have appreciated a stronger seafood selection. Many guests seemed to opt for food delivery instead. Small in‑room additions like earbuds, toothpicks, and a notepad would also elevate the experience. Overall, Phoenix Hotel Sanya offers beautiful views and convenient on‑site amenities, but there’s room for improvement in facilities, dining, and guest communication."

"I enjoyed my stay at Bao Hong Hotel. The location is excellent — close to Dadonghai Beach and also near the scenic Xiaodonghai area. The hotel itself is simple but comfortable, matching its price of around 230 CNY per night. Cleanliness is acceptable, though not perfect. Overall, it’s a decent and convenient place to stay for both families and solo travelers, as long as expectations are reasonable. Room I used was Business Queen, very large room with king/queen size bed for 2 large adults."
