We had an amazing two nights at laksik eco lodge. The room was luxurious, the views spectacular, the pool was probably the best I have ever seen and the staff super friendly. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to anyone staying at Sapa.
The hotel organised a guided trek which was one of the highlights of our trip. It was also nice to stay ten minutes out of Sapa, which is very busy, as it was much more relaxed and close to many small villages but also easy to take a taxi to Sapa.

I booked the hotel just for the swimming pool, but aside from the disadvantage of being a bit far from downtown Sapa, it is the best hotel for the price in terms of both room and breakfast.

I have only very good memories. A breathtaking view, swimming pool, restaurant, and friendly staff. The only downside was that we left late and didn't request cleaning, so the room wasn't cleaned.

It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from Sapa Town.
The facilities are good and the staff are very friendly.
Breakfast is also delicious.
However, the restaurant didn't have air conditioning so it was a bit hot.
The rooms are really pretty and the view from the balcony is fantastic.
The swimming pool was also beautiful and nice.
It is a place I would like to use again next time.

It's all made of wood, but it doesn't feel old or outdated at all, and it's so cute that it feels like the warmth of a fairy tale village. It's a place I'd definitely want to come back to.

Lovely setting / we had one of the newer rooms which was LUSH! Fireplace, bath tub, excellent views etc so don’t skimp out when selecting. All in all a great place for an Ecolodge. Easy to do the 90 min walking loop through the valley - NO tour needed! Just walk and go! You’ll see 100 people in the valley with tour groups as you pass. Only fundamental issue for the hotel is their room service. We wanted to order a snack - fried corn (which costs 70k Dong). They informed any and all room service has a charge of 200k Dong fixed. This was just slightly frustrating as a matter of principle so being British and obviously passive aggressive we ate out instead. That rule should be fundamentally scrapped as a policy matter.

This hotel is situated about a 10 minute drive outside of Sapa. it is in a beautiful setting with fantastic views across the valley of rice fields and the mountain range. The staff are very relaxed and are helpful and the pool is a lovely place to spend a few hours. Breakfast is also good but finishes a bit early for a holiday place at 9:30 am. However, the rooms are rather tired and the bathroom floods whenever the shower has been on. We also ate in the restaurant one evening and it was pretty lifeless with rather bland food. Better to catch a taxi and eat in town. Overall a pleasant stay but with a bit of effort it could be so much better.

Beautiful location over looking the valley and mountains. The room was good , the shower wasn’t the best and it took time to get the temperature right. It would be better to have a door on the shower as the water goes everywhere. The breakfast choice was good and omelettes are cooked to order. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and although the food was ok we felt it lacked atmosphere, but that’s just our opinion. The pool is great and the views from the pool are spectacular. The staff are super friendly and we were allowed to help out with planting rice during a promotional shoot - thanks to Leon and Bang for the photos

We arrived on the overnight train from Hanoi, they new our train arrived early morning as they arranged the transfer driver for us. Arrival welcome was luke-warm. No welcome drink, no orientation. We asked if we could check in early as we had traveled overnight. The people who had our room before us were checking oyt as we arrived at 9am. However they made no effort to prepare our room early for us and told us we have to wait until 3pm! We booked the family bungalow as we wanted more space. It's basically 2 rooms with a double bed in each., A tiny inside seating area with a 2 seater sofa and a tiny balcony with 2 chairs on it - how are ytou going to accommodate a family! Beds were comfy and the place is clean. The breakfast is very westernised which was a real shame. Whilst it is called an Eco-lodge everything is wrapped in plastic. The best rooms seemed to be the 5 doubles to the side of the pool. Location is great with lovely scenery. I don't think it offers good value for money versus other options in Vietnam
