Former 々 I stayed for 2 nights with a high-rated review. The staff was very friendly, the facilities were substantial, the cleanliness, the breakfast buffet and the word of mouth were wonderful. I think it's a quality that's not surprising even if it's double the price. If I dared to be worried about only one point, there were group guests who seemed to be salaried men and students of sports club activities, but they talked loudly in the bathroom or sauna, and after the sauna, they didn't even hang water. I'm in the cold bath I saw several insane people, such as making noise in the hallway. I think this is not a hotel problem, but a customer problem, but on the assumption that some people are such insane, they should be warned especially to group guests at check-in. I hope you will write an easy-to-understand note in the bathroom. I will use it when I go to Sapporo again. Thank you very much.

Hotel staff are kind and helpful. This hotel is very near to Odori park Subway Station, walking about 10min, The convenient store 7-11 is just beside the hotel, and many shopping Mall is just walking distance within 10 min. My family has a nice stay here and we definitely will come back again when we next visit Hokkaido.

It was a little challenging for us to get to the hotel on our arrival day due to the Shinkansei Line construction around the JR station. Other than that, the location is almost perfect: close to the JR station and the Hokkaido University, with a few large department stores near by and a Family Mart close to the hotel. Breakfast was okay, nothing too special and was a little small in my opinion, however I love their cherry tomatoes and milk. Parking was 1300 yen per day.

Spent 2 nights at the Livemax Hotel in one of the smallest rooms I’ve ever rented. At probably a little over 100 sqft, it was about $1.50/sqft per night. Service was limited. On check-in, you receive a complementary bottle of water. When I went to ask for another bottle on the second day, using Google Translate, “oh, you mean a plastic bottle of water”, the desk informed me there was a vending machine on the 2nd floor. I even offered to pay her for the bottle she had in her hand. No luck. I was surprised at the TripAdvisor ratings on this hotel (4). I gave it a 2 only because it was fairly new (taxi drivers don’t know the location) and in pretty good condition. With the impending 2020 summer olympics, the hotel chain will need to up their game, particularly with English language skills for the tourists they’re expecting.

We stayed with an economy double single youth breakfast. Cospa is good, so it is a hotel chain that I often use recently. Check-in is quick and easy to check in just by holding the QR code in advance payment. The room is not large, but it is large enough to stay alone. It was very clean. The view from the window is not good just to see the hotel next door, but just to have the window does not feel cramped. Ys susukino on the first floor of the hotel was able to eat relaxingly at the breakfast venue. In fact, for comparison the day before, when I stayed at a hotel of the same level in Susukino under the same conditions, the breakfast venue was very crowded, so I felt very good at this breakfast venue. The buffet here is Hokkaido's specialty soup curry and Sapporo miso ramen. Both the soup curry and Sapporo miso ramen were delicious with my own type, but what was more delicious was the tempura soba made by myself. The tempura was freshly fried, hot and crispy. I am very satisfied with the breakfast here. I am a member of the hotel chain here, so I am glad that Charin and 500 yen coins will be cashed back from the automatic check-out machine.

The location is unbeatable - only a couple minutes walking distance from Sapporo Station and it’s the pickup point of many one day tour so we even saved the time of walking to the pickup point.
The hotel is rather old but well-maintained. The room is a bit small for 2 persons, but acceptable considering that this is common in most of the hotels in Japan. There are a few convenient stores around which is a big advantage, and the famous crab restaurant is just round the corner. Close to metro station and it’s not far away from the main shopping and restaurant area.

I’ve been to Sapporo several times and also wanted to stay at this hotel.
Location is very convenient, just next to JR Sapporo station, driving there is easy as well. Parking for a small fee on site without the hassle of going outdoors is a plus as it is very cold outside during this period.
Hotel is surrounded by many stores and restaurants, there are plenty to choose from.
Breakfast is average, but the view is really nice. The nearby restaurants make up for the average onsite breakfast.
The view from our room was fantastic, day and night view of Sapporo is an eye catcher. The amenities they provide is also of good quality.
The hotel could use some renovation as it is beginning to look dated. Also downside is that the onsen on the 22 floor requires additional fee. It would be great if hotel guest can use it for free.
Overall a very nice hotel and I would definitely return.

Location is perfect if you are looking for a hotel near sapporo train station. It's just 3 minutes walk so very convenient. There are combini nearby (7-eleven and lawson). They clean my room every day. Change towels, empty the trash bins which is really good. The room size is bigger than tokyo. I just feel they can improve on food. I stayed for 4 days and the breakfast is the same menu every single day, nothing new on each day. Also, while they provide free coffee there's no bottled water given. Initially when I asked the receptionist, I was told I can drink from a cup on the 2nd floor (where food is being served and so as the free coffee) however on my 2nd night I went to the ”pantry” to get a water and there's none, when I went to the receptionist and ask, I was told to drink from the bathroom faucet.

Room is very new and spacious, they put into a 3 beds room though I only booked twin bed room, the space for luggage is limited. Bathroom is wonderful. Cleanliness is sparkling, the cleaning team is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, they serve high quality food with great variety. Restaurant staffs are very friendly as well. One thing I would just hope they have the new slippers by request, the Japanese slippers are not that stable and for hygiene purposes.

GGuest UserVery happy with our two night stay - good food, drinks, service, onsen and very clean premises. As other reviews have written - there are so many amenities and complimentary offerings here - afternoon tea including wine, after dinner drinks, well-stocked mini-bar all inclusive, and lovely breakfast and dinners. The rooms are very comfortable. For onsen, there is on- premise one outside onsen and we enjoyed two others at the close-by sister hotel, including the detached bathhouse throw-back to an all stone and wood onsen. Marvelous.

MMei Leng LimI recently stayed at the Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo for three nights in a Standard Family Room on the 7th floor and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The room comfortably accommodated our group of four, and we were pleasantly surprised to find two separate bathrooms with bathtubs, which added a significant level of convenience for our family. While the room did not offer any particular views, the value for money was undeniable.
The hotel's buffet spread was another highlight of our stay. With a wide variety of options, it catered well to different tastes and preferences, ensuring a satisfying start to each day.
A couple of logistical aspects made our stay even more seamless. We were able to return our rental car directly at the hotel, having rented from Toyota Rent-a-Car. This saved us a lot of time and hassle. Additionally, we utilized the Airport Bus service from the hotel, purchasing tickets easily at the front desk on the day of our departure. This convenience allowed us to relax and enjoy our last moments in Sapporo without any stress.
One of the most impressive aspects of our stay was the excellent service. We had purchased quite a bit of chocolate from the Royce Chocolate Factory, and the hotel staff went above and beyond by accepting and storing our delivery until we arrived a day or two later. This level of service truly enhanced our experience.
The hotel's location is another significant advantage. It is about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station, making it very accessible. For those interested in exploring local shopping areas, Tanuki Koji is a manageable 30-minute walk away.
Overall, the Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo offers excellent value for money with its well-appointed rooms, great amenities, convenient location, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sapporo.

I am very satisfied with my stay with my friends this time. The service staff were very polite and patient in answering our questions. Stayed with family for one night before heading home. Would stay again. Oh yes... No driveway which made the drop off during a snow shower quite challenging.

I stayed in a capsule in the dormitory on the 3rd floor of the hotel, where self check-in facilities are located. I believe there are family units or private rooms on other floors of the hotel.
+ Very good location. Less than 5 minutes walk from nearest subway. Subway journey about 5 minutes from central Odori Station.
+ Very comfortable beds and good quality linen and pillows. I slept very well during my two nights there.
+ Very good and clean communal facilities - high quality furniture, spacious bathrooms (a lot better than the price suggests).
+ Self check-in was easy (apart from the lift, see below).
- I booked my accommodation through Trip.com. That meant I did not receive an email from the hotel with the code to activate the lift (or even know that I needed a code!). Thankfully, a lady put in the code for me to take me to the 3rd floor so I could check in, otherwise I would have been stuck with no access to the hotel. MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE THE CODE TO THE LIFT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE.
- There are no cooking utensils, plates, cups, cutlery or fridge in the kitchen on the 3rd floor where the dormitories are located.
I would happily stay here again for the money, now I know the downsides I have written above so that I can plan accordingly.

First of all, I wanted a guide of ”full seat” only at 2 o'clock. ２． Check-in was smooth (travel discounts were not used), but the shuttle bus to Sapporo tomorrow morning was ”full and I couldn't wait for cancellation.” ３． The room (T / W on the 10th floor) was wider than I imagined (reservation of an inexpensive main building) and was easy to use, but the equipment, closet, bath / toilet, etc. were ”quite old” for a few minutes. However, the view is good in the river side room, There was no difference in use. However, I felt that the safety box and costume tray in the closet were placed on the floor, and that they would be considered and equipped in the user's position by attaching shelf boards. ４． I used the bath on the 1st and 16th floors. It's a large hotel that is not ashamed of, and it can be used by a large number of people, but when using it, there were few users, so I was able to spend my time to my heart's content. There are individual differences, but I felt that the hot water temperature was a little low. ５． Meals (evening and breakfast) were lined up at some counters, but I thought it was unavoidable. The variety was diverse, but honestly, I couldn't feel any characteristics now. For example (dinner), a large amount of steak was prepared and it was at the counter, but the arrangement (grilled, served, decorated position, etc.), and (breakfast) seafood bowl (rice, seafood, etc.) was also served by each person. I prepared only rice (normal and small amounts of ２ seeds) in advance, and felt that the flow of people could be smoothly made, so that it would be fun and delicious. There are also many waiters and waitresses, so why not engage in service plus service such as lowering tableware and serving meals? ６． The next morning, I asked the front desk (whether or not the shuttle bus was available), but the same was true. I asked again to use the shuttle bus to Sapporo, but it was completely full and could not be used. ８． When I came to the front door to go to the bus stop, a Sri Lankan woman who asked at the front desk in the morning flew and told the driver of the shuttle bus to Sapporo that had just stopped.
