"Our tatami room was quite spacious. There was even enough room for kids to sleep on futons, making it great for family trips. Breakfast was average. The surrounding area is pretty rural, which is understandable given it's Chitose. For future stays, I'd prefer a location closer to the city center."
"The hotel and room just perfect for one. with the in house public bath you got to relax your body after and before a long day. am very enjoy staying here with a nice room view and all the facilities available . information on the tv is also useful showimg the status on congestion for public bath and breakfast. all in all am very happy to have stay for five nights here. location is very near to the bus station at north exit for sapporo station which is a plus for those who taking day tour that need to gather at the point, only about 7 minutes walk away. there is also a convenient store 711 right downstairs and starbucks as well."
"The best branch of Toyoko Inn in the area of Susukino, a few station from Main Sapporo station. When you get off the Metro station , get up at Exit no.1,if you want to use elevator find way exit no.4 .
You can enjoy free food and feel safe to stay in this hotel. Good base to go around, best shopping and delicious food . The staff can help you check in with automatic machine and in front . Toyoko inn hotel gives you feel like at home with good facilities. From here you can go and back from Chitosei airport with metro and airport bus in front of hotel as well."
"Hotel is near to everything. Airport bus, food and shopping.
Airport bus drop of is Odori park.
It one stop to sapporo station.
Walking distance to nijo market. Not worth eating there.
The hotel, changes your towels, everyday. Clean your room every 3 days?
Staff very helpful.
There is a bbq beef buffet, just next door.
Going to airport is a different stop, make sure u check with reception first.
Go here for seafood, supper good."
"The hotel is about 550 meters from JR Sapporo Station. While there aren’t many restaurants nearby, it’s conveniently located right in front of Hokkaido University. The nearest convenience store is Seicomart. Interaction with staff is minimal as check-in and check-out are handled through machines. Breakfast is complimentary, and you confirm your selection via the TV in your room.
However, the Wi-Fi is highly unstable—it frequently disconnects and was completely unavailable for one night during our 4-night stay. Free coffee is available from 3 PM daily. Towels are replaced daily and hung on your door, while basic amenities are provided. The water pressure is excessively strong, almost as if draining an entire river. Room cleaning is scheduled every 4 days."
"Loved the location, close to Day and Night life. Near NHK Tower, ”Central Park” Odori, Bus Center, and my friend's office bldg in view!! Most of all, I like to go eat at the City Hall cafeteria, every once in a while, plus free great view of the city from top floor, nice restaurant cafe up there, also.
Question: You have a nice Kitchen on 4F, but no table to sit??. I will certainly Come again next time."
"The location of this hotel is perfect. The bus stop to to/from airport is less than 5min. Keep it mind that the bus ride to the airport is cheaper than any other choice. Walk distance to Odori-koen, JR Sapporo station, Tanuki-kouji, and Susukino. There is a massage place opened from 10am - 3am in front of this hotel with very reasonable price! This hotel is in between Japanese convenience stores. Staff at the hotel is fresh and green but very attentive.
I think these points over comes room size. You may have difficulty if you have 2 big suitcases. The photo is my new discover and best find by this hotel, a coffee shop! It’s 1 block away from the hotel. As this hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, I highly recommend this coffee shop for your breakfast."
"The room wasn't too small, and the breakfast was plentiful. Plus, there's unlimited free coffee at the front desk. It's really close to both the Sapporo subway and JR stations, making it super convenient for getting around! I'd definitely stay here again. I stayed at one of their hotels in Nagasaki before, and it was excellent value for money!"
"We appreciate this hotel so much. Very near the bus station going to and from Chitose Airport. The staff are all accommodating and always ready to assist you. The breakfast buffet is delicious with many options to choose from. With complete Amenities except no shower cap. There are robes provided in each floor. All in all we had a great stay at this hotel and would likely to recommend to friends and relatives. Value for money. Thank u Smile Hotel😊🙏"
"I often book Daiwa hotels when I'm in Japan. The location is excellent, very close to the subway, Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade, and other malls. There are also many dining options nearby, and a 7-Eleven right downstairs. The airport limousine bus stop is also very close. The front desk is on the second floor, and the staff all speak fluent English. You can help yourself to drinks, drip coffee, lotions, and bath salts. The room isn't small; you can open your suitcase, and it offers a street view. I also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was very Japanese and had a good variety."

BBeioudexueThe hotel's location is very convenient. It's directly across from the South 3-jo stop for the airport shuttle bus. Tanukikoji shopping street is right behind the hotel, and a Don Quijote pharmacy is just two blocks to the right. The lobby offers free coffee, tea bags, and hot water. You need to swipe your card to use the elevator, and there's a curfew from 1 AM to 6 AM, which makes it very secure. The front desk service was excellent; they explained everything clearly. Definitely recommend.

EElisia LohHotel Forza Sapporo – Great Location and Comfortable Stay
Love the convenience of this hotel — it’s just a short walk from Sapporo Station, and the area around it is super easy to get around. I booked a 3-person room, and it was spacious enough for all three of us. The room was clean and well-kept, and the toilet came with both a bathtub and a shower jet, which was a nice touch.
At the reception, there’s a small bar counter, and each guest gets a ¥300 drink credit to redeem for an alcoholic drink like red wine, white wine, or sake. There’s also a coffee machine, perfect for a quick caffeine fix before heading out.
Breakfast was decent — it runs from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., which gives plenty of time even for late risers.
There’s also a laundry room with four sets of coin washers and dryers, which came in handy for longer stays.
Overall, a really convenient and comfortable hotel, especially for those who want easy access to both Odori Park and Susukino. Walking from Sapporo JR station is about a 5 to 7-minute walk. The easiest way, especially during cold or rainy days, is to walk through the underground shopping street and come up from Exit 13. You’ll surface right from level 1 of Tokyu Department Store (Big Camera is on level 5-6). Once you’re up, look across the road and you’ll see a Kani Honke crab restaurant (a crab sign) — Hotel Forza Sapporo is just next to it.
If you continue walking further down, you’ll get to Odori Park and eventually the Susukino area.
Right now, there’s some construction work in front of Sapporo Station, so the view might be blocked. If you prefer to walk above ground, taking the street route from the South Gate exit toward Tokyu Department Store is actually a bit quicker.
EeasondingHad a lovely stay at this hotel in Sapporo. The room was a decent size and came with a couple of thoughtful touches that made the stay more comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the view—our room overlooked a beautiful park, and since it was sakura season, we were lucky enough to enjoy the cherry blossoms right from our window. It was a truly relaxing and memorable experience.
The TV offered a surprisingly wide variety of channels, which was great for unwinding in the evening. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently close to Nakajimakoen Station, making it easy to get around the city.
Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and seasonal beauty.

CChee MunNice Onsen resort and we like the private Onsen inside the room. The room is huge but it will be great if it has international channels or even Netflix or YouTube. It provides transport to Sapporo so that is great. Nice free drinks and snacks at night.
AAnonymous User*5/5 stars*
I'm thoroughly impressed with our recent stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch - I mean, no dust on the windows? That's dedication! The staff's attention to detail was also impressive, with fresh towels delivered to our room every single day. We appreciated the ample supply of bath towels and face towels, too!
The hotel's amenities were great, including the free coffee and tea in the pantry, which was a lovely touch. Ice is also free. We also appreciated being able to use the pantry to enjoy our takeout. The elevator was speedy, and the Sapporo TV tower view from our room was a highlight for the kids!
The location was perfect, with Odori Station just steps away and an amazing miso ramen shop right beside the hotel. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the heated toilet seat was a nice touch. The air conditioner was quiet, which was a bonus.
However, there were a few areas for improvement. The room wasn't cleaned daily, and the lighting could be brighter. The laundry soap in the washing machine didn't leave a pleasant scent on our clothes - it actually made them smell a bit off. We appreciated being able to check the washing machine timer on the TV, though.
Despite these minor issues, we'd still recommend this hotel to others. The positives far outweigh the negatives, and we'd definitely consider staying here again. The bottled water was a nice touch, but we would've appreciated a few more bottles.
*Pros:*
- Impeccable cleanliness
- Friendly and attentive staff
- Great location
- Free ice, coffee and tea
- Heated toilet seat
- Quiet air conditioner
- Sapporo TV tower view
*Cons:*
- Room not cleaned daily
- Lighting could be brighter
- Laundry soap left clothes smelling unpleasant

GGuest UserVery close to JR Sapporo Station , just 200meter from the north exit (about 5 minute walk) , near subway exit gate no.9
The property is clean and new , surround with restaurant and convenience store ,
full facility like onsen , free locker reom , free drink , fitness , ice dispenser in every floor
The room size is not big but comfortable , well equipped
The price is little high but worth it
Overall is great , I will come back for next trip , recommended
GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised by the excellency of services and amenities in this hotel. I stayed 6 nights so I got to use everything. Great breakfast, very professional staff (front desk, restaurant, room cleaning…), 24 hrs open washing room, little details on the room such as phone chargers, toothbrush, clothes drying rope, vending machines on many floors, little shop inside the hotel with a good selection of souvenirs and everyday needs, scale for luggage, iron board upon request, all in all, everything you need. Very close to both Hokkaido University and station. Spacious room with a proper desk to work, and coffee table. Ask for a south or north facing room if you care about direct daylight. I asked to change and I am happy that they gave me a room with sunlight! Would recommend %100.
GGuest UserGreat hotel for my first visit to Sapporo! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable bedding. The location was also very convenient. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Very Good
GGuest UserPerfect location . Just opposite Daimaru Sapporo JR station . Walking around 15 mins to Susukino area. Room is clean but size is small which cannot fit 2 big luggage which is normal in Japan. I like the Breakfast very much with plenty of choices
Oishi!
EElisia LohThe hotel provides a shuttle bus pick-up from Sapporo Station (Bus Terminal), but reservations can only be made by phone call. Email requests are not accepted. We arrived on a Sunday, and the bus was already fully packed when leaving Sapporo Station, so it is best to book early.
The hotel itself is a little old, though the public area toilets appear to have been recently renovated. The public onsen pools are large and relaxing, but the stone tile flooring can be slippery from long use, so be careful when walking in the bath area.
The buffet has a good spread of dishes. I especially enjoyed the dinner scallop miso soup, handmade sushi, and desserts. The restaurant was lively and fully packed with both local Japanese families and overseas tourists. One minor downside was the seasonal fruit such as lychee. It would be better if the hotel ensured the fruits were properly washed before serving.
Wi-Fi connection in the hotel is strong and stable unlike the big spa hotel in lake Toya which I just stayed a few days ago.
