I’ve been to Sapporo several times and also wanted to stay at this hotel. Location is very convenient, just next to JR Sapporo station, driving there is easy as well. Parking for a small fee on site without the hassle of going outdoors is a plus as it is very cold outside during this period. Hotel is surrounded by many stores and restaurants, there are plenty to choose from. Breakfast is average, but the view is really nice. The nearby restaurants make up for the average onsite breakfast. The view from our room was fantastic, day and night view of Sapporo is an eye catcher. The amenities they provide is also of good quality. The hotel could use some renovation as it is beginning to look dated. Also downside is that the onsen on the 22 floor requires additional fee. It would be great if hotel guest can use it for free. Overall a very nice hotel and I would definitely return.

This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!

It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

We had a terrible experience with the services that the free bottled waters were only for IHG members and we are NOT informed beforehand or while we checked in. And the hotel officers were really indifferent when we tried to communicate about this isssue. We were told “NO one could get bottled waters unless he/ she is a IHG member”. We haven’t been treated so around any hotel in Japan or in the world under any hotels groups. This could be the worst experience we had over a small issue due to the ill communications with hotel service team. Very disappointed on such discriminating hotel policies and we would not be able consider IHG group in Japan anyhow. It was a cozy hotel with good location. But facilities are aged.

Although small, it is fully equipped. The water pressure in the bathroom is very sufficient, the bath is very comfortable, and the bathtub is very clean, because the water pressure is enough to soak the bath water quickly, and it is so wonderful to take a bath in the winter! This time I used it for the latter half of the business trip for 8 nights. The washing machine and dryer are in each room, so the clothes such as changing clothes were half done. The detergent is 22 yen at the front desk, so it is real washing and free. I washed the day before check-out, so I only had 1 nights of laundry at home and was very helpful. Well, I just wrote about the laundry, but there is also a mini kitchen, and I can borrow a set of cooking utensils in 1,000 yen ／ weeks, so I enjoyed a cheap Genghis Khan using the desired super meat for two nights. I made egg grilled and sausage fried in breakfast. I think the room is large and clean. Darlingly, the location of the large sofa at the corner is bad, and it is literally not suitable for watching TV. And, it's a little bit watery. It is far from downtown, but it is a busy location for locals around 18jo subway station, so I personally like it. The price is ,,,. Usually it is reasonable, but when it is busy, it becomes a little high to doubt the eye, so it is better not to look at the foot of the customer very much.

Advantages Clean and well ventilated. No bad smell in sea bream by using slippers! Friendly staff and various amenities were also good. I made a reservation from the homepage because there was a reservation frame in Sapporo. There was only a premium plus room, but the hotel fee was 3000 yen discount and a smile coupon 2000 yen, so it was a gain.
