Great place to stay great people. Comfortable clean and friendly Will definitely be back Ideal place to stay for the outdoor theatre. Food is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Off road parking and ideal for visiting North or south Bay at Scarborough.

We arrived back from this guest house on Sat after a few days break there.Jim and Sarah were very friendly and the room was spotless.The guest house has a very homely feel and the breakfast is delicious. We would highly recommend this place .Janet and Paul

Great room and excellent food, we ate breakfast each morning and dinner on two occasions. The best compliment is that we intend to return next year. We would particularly recommend Room 8, one of the premium rooms. Jim and Sarah provide great hospitality.

Spent 3 days here rooms were lovely everythingwe needed sarah and jim were lovely breakfast and evening meals were lovely neil loved Sarah's chilli well worth trying we were close to north bay weather not great but good to watch the waves and the surfers

My wife and I recently had a 3 night break at the seaside hideaway hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The food at breakfast and the evening was delicious. The hosts Sarah and Jim went the extra mile to make the break enjoyable. I will definitely return and recommend the hotel to family and friends.

Great weekend at the Seaside Hideaway Hotel. Sarah and Jim are great hosts, fountain of local knowledge, very helpful and make you feel at home straight away. Hotel has everything you need, great location above the North Beach, very clean throughout and homely. Food was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing, an added bonus was Sarah's Banana Bread, absolutely delicious. We certainly would like to return sometime soon.

Easy to find, very close to open air theatre. Greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival in lounge area. Room was beautifully furnished, huge 6 foot bed, really comfy. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, yogurt, banana bread as well as the full English. Had evening meal one night, the Sri Lankan curry was amazing. Few local bars nearby with the town a short walk away. We ate one night in Lezzet which was a good find. Sarah and Jim were smashing hosts with years of local knowledge. Nice that they stock local beers and spirits. A brilliant break would not hesitate to book again if visiting the area.
