Family-friendly Hotels in Seoul

This hotel was fine for my needs. I was out of the hotel most of the day, so it was just a place to sleep. This was my first time to Seoul so I didn’t know what to expect. The hotel staff was really kind, spoke English well, and answered a lot of my questions, they gave a great recommendation for a very local breakfast restaurant nearby. It was clean, aside from some of the grouting in the shower and one of the coffee mugs in the room was not cleaned well. The towels need an upgrade. The bed isn’t super soft. The room itself almost felt like a private university dorm room. There’s a mini fridge, a kettle, and a place to hang some clothes. There is a coffee shop and bakery directly downstairs and the metro is right around the corner, so the location was incredibly convenient. Overall, I think it’s an average hotel suitable for a traveler on a budget if you’re not spending a lot of time in the hotel. The staff was great!

the location and facility condition was great, however, i think the service attitude was not so great. I think they are not 'fully open' yet, rather 'soft open'. for example, they wouldn't accommodate ice nor additional chair for the room. Understandable that room was cozy and perhaps not fit for additional chair, but their response attitude was so abrasive and it was a turn off. When they are 'fully open' I hope their hospitality will be fully operational as well.

The service staff on the phone and check in are very abrupt. For example, before we made the booking, we called the hotel to inquire, the staff told us that the superior double room cannot accommodate 3 person, therefore we booked 2 rooms. However when we arrived, we checked into a superior deluxe room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. It was exactly what we needed. We didn't need the extra room we booked after all. The room and bed is worn out and very basic. Even though the room smells old and stale, the room was generally clean. Overall the hotel is in an excellent location near the subway and myeongdong street. Good for non-fussy tourists who won't be spending much time in the room.

Everything was perfect to us. We did travel via mass transit like airport bus and MRT. There is airport bus stop in fron of the hotel and also two MRT interchange stations in the distance. Room was spacious for small families like us. Design was a bit old, but all the facilities were well maintained. Wifi and Internet TV signal were strong. There is CVS like emart24 on the ground floor, that open til late at night. This hotel will be in our top list for our next trip for sure.

Had a pleasant stay at Sejong Hotel. 2nd time staying at this hotel as it is very convenient. Good location. Near the subway. Walking distance to Myeongdong shopping street, 7-11, CU stores. The airport limousine bus stop is just nearby too. Friendly staffs and daily housekeeping service. Daily fresh hot towels changed with accessories and bottled water, tea, coffee top up. Overall satisfied with our stay at Sejong Hotel. Highly recommended 👍

We enjoyed our stay here. Some pros: conveniently located near several subway stations and lines. Service was quite good with clean rooms, cleaned everyday. The self-check in and self-checkout was really great. There was a nice view from our room, overlooking Namsan and Seoul Tower. Cons: had some issues getting the electric outlets to allow electricity to flow and the water pressure from the shower was very light, making it hard to take a shower in a timely manner. Overall, not bad but there are better options around Dongdaemun for a similar price.

Pretty nice hotel located at myeongdong, within walking distance to shopping, food street. Yet not at the busy street. The room was great with the bathtub. nice to dip in it after a long day walk and shopping. I have a great deal bought from trip.com. their service was super, definitely a nice hotel to visit again.
