The hotel is clean and the location is perfect for eating & shopping around in Seoul Nice cafe downstairs

Great hotel, easy to get around, Namdaemun market is across the street. Walking distance to myeongdong street food and all the shops. There is also a 24 hour good restaurant next to the hotel and the restaurant serves really good food. It helps you when you have jetlag. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The best thing is the pressure water of the shower and after 19 hours flight, you feel great and relaxed.

The location is very convenient, there is a convenience store right next door as well. When I checked in, the counter staff also gave a free bottle of wine and cookies (think this was for Marriott bonvoy members which is free to join anyway). The room was well maintained and cleaned daily as well. The only minor gripe I have is that the light at the door is by sensor and kept flickering, but otherwise everything was good.

Modern hotel that provides comfort for my families of 6. Hotel room is clean with decent amenities and laundromat. Would recommend hotel to provide more washer and dryer given the demand.

Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms were of very good size even with our 3 luggages. Location wise is convenient to walk to Seoul Station and City Hall, which would then take you to almost everywhere you wanna go. There are also quite afew KBBQ shops just on the street beside so you wouldnt have an issue with food. Downside is that there isnt any porter or bellhop service so you will need to manage your own luggages when you arrive

Stayed for 5 nights at the premises. Room was reasonably priced and sized for the prices paid. Hotel staffs were helpful throughout the stay. Service made up for everything else. Overall would recommend if u are looking for a quiet place away from the bustling Myeongdong area.

Courtyard by Marriott is conveniently located in Namdaemun. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from Myeongdong and City Hall. It is located next to a street of Korean BBQ restaurants and there is a convenience store located right below. Starbucks and several cafes are also within short walking distance (less than 5 mins). Although rated 4 stars, the hotel felt close to 5 stars. The standard deluxe room was adequately spacious for 2 although the larger deluxe rooms definitely felt better, with space to open up two luggage bags and move around them. Most of the staff could speak English and we had no trouble communicating with them. They were all very friendly and helpful. There is also a gym and a laundry room located within the property, which is useful for those who are staying longer. A cafe (Sapoon) is situated within the hotel so you don’t even have to leave to get a cappuccino. Overall, the highlight of the hotel is its location but the quality of the rooms and service were great too. One thing to note is that the window to the bathroom can be covered by a blind but that blind is operated from outside the bathroom. Something to keep in mind if that is an issue for you and your travelling companion.

Great location and will definitely choose this hotel for my next trip. Easy to move around and service was excellent.

It was a bit far from Myeongdong but general quiet and peaceful. eateries are nearby. Only issues was that they could not accord Bonvoy nights which is disappointing

Near myeongdong with airport bus super near. Behind hotel with varieties of restaurants. Very strategic

The location is great, very convenient for seeing Seoul. I gave it 5* The service was mostly good but we were moved to the bar area to eat breakfast which meant eating on a coffee table (at knee height) instead of a taller dining room table, this made eating breakfast very awkward. 4* Our room had a weird damp smell and was quite dusty, overall not bad but the smell wasn’t pleasant. 3* The hotel has a nice gym, coffee shop and laundry services and which are useful 4*

Amazing location and service. Close to downtown area and key tourist places. Great connectivity both by bus and train. Reception was very friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast spread was the best that I have experienced in recent time with choice of eastern and western items. Room was cleaned everyday and fresh set of towels were provided. Had good meal at the MoMo lounge with soup, chicken wings.

Our recent stay at this hotel was a mixed bag of delightful comfort and minor inconveniences. We were generously offered an early check-in, a much-needed respite after a long flight, though the room location had its quirks. The room, situated on the lowest floor facing the main street, proved to be surprisingly soundproof. The windows did an impressive job of resisting most street noise, with only occasional disturbances from buses, trucks, or the rare honk or siren. These disruptions were infrequent and did not significantly impact our overall comfort. Setting aside the occasional street sounds, almost everything about the room felt luxurious. The bed, pillows, and blanket were exceptionally comfortable, facilitating a sound and restful sleep. Practical details like having wall sockets on each side of the bed, each equipped with two USB A ports, were a thoughtful touch for modern travelers. The suction of the toilet bowl was noteworthy, ensuring efficient use. The responsiveness of hot and cold water added to the convenience. The room size was ample, providing a comfortable living space. However, the only drawback was that the curtains, while decent, fell short of full blackout, allowing around 80-90% of light to filter through. For those sensitive to light while sleeping, this might be a consideration. In summary, our stay was marked by comfort, thoughtful amenities, and efficient services. The occasional street noise was a minor trade-off for the overall positive experience. If you prioritise comfort and modern conveniences, this hotel is a solid choice. With a few tweaks, it could easily become a perfect haven for a diverse range of travellers.
