The room is very cozy. I was received by the owner's mother when I checked in. The aunt was very enthusiastic and told me things to pay attention to when going to Disney. The staff working at reception, luggage storage, house keeping, FnB, shuttle service and merchandising are doing a great job. I enjoyed staying at Toy Story Hotel with my mum! The negative point about the hotel is the toiletries. Disney hotel Should use containers that represent the room that the guest stayed in. The shampoo, soap dispenser and Bathform were in non Disney Theme containers. Even if the containers of the toiletries need to be sustainable ( shampoo, bathform etc are not placed in small vials ), Disney Shanghai still can customise Toy Story Containers for the toiletries. It is ok not to give to the guests as they are Hotel Assets. But the decorations, furniture etc need to be of Disney Theme.

What a beautiful hotel with the amazing scenery! We felt like we are not in SHA with well maintained green grass with flowers inside the hotel which was really relaxing. If you would like to be away from busy city with full of high buildings I definitely recommend this hotel. We will definitely come back again! Thank you for preparing the special gift to my family since we were celebrating special day! Room: very spacious with good amenities, unlike many hotels in SH it was convenient that bathroom and bathtub is separated! Having yard at the back was so lovely as we were able to have happy hour drinks in the evening! Service: They’re trying to be helpful but it seems less stuffs so when I needed room service and called nobody answered my calls so I had to wait for a while to be answered. Breakfast: The food was good but with this amount of price of stay I wished the had more variety of food.

It might be a 5 start hotel but it’s certainly not 5 star service! I was given a bill at breakfast I supposed to sign for even though breakfast was included in our room fee and when I asked about it they said it was a receipt. I’ve never been asked to sign a receipt for something that I’ve paid for in a package deal. Also my kids wanted to go to the swimming pool so wanted to buy swimming tubes. We were told we needed to wait until 9am for the store to open and I asked many times, if they were sure the store sold swimming tubes before we waited and they assured us they did but when 9am can the store had no swimming tubes. The only solution the pool could offer was to order them to the hotel, this would have been fine if we had have done that in the beginning instead of waiting for a store that didn’t even sell them to open. So we didn’t even have time to go to the pool since deliver would take 45 minutes and checkout was coming.

Bringing the baby to Disney to play here is really comfortable. The baby especially likes the hanging chair on the balcony. The house is clean and hygienic. It feels like home. It is quite close to Disney from Pudong Airport. It is very convenient to provide pick-up and drop-off. The landlord sister is really for our sake because of the child. I can’t set the departure time in the morning. I can’t ask the driver to send us to Disney in advance. We took a taxi and reimbursed me for the fare. It’s really super intimate. When I left, the baby didn’t want to go. I wanted to stay for a few more days. I will come to Shanghai to play again. This is definitely our first. Two homes.
