The latest flagship of Regent 2024, full of expectations, specially booked a room with Bund view, thinking that IHG Rewards Club can upgrade the room to one level (small one-bedroom suite standard suite). Other InterContinental and Regent hotels can be upgraded, but Seagull Regent cannot be upgraded. It is estimated that it is a special suite. Fortunately, the communication with the hotel was very timely and humanized. I was given Room 15 of Seagull Suite. I was very happy. If you come to Seagull Regent to live in Seagull Suite, it will be a happy thing. The room design is very good. You can see that it has been thought about. The supplies are definitely of quality. Even the earplugs are Honeywell. You can see that the hotel really wants to do a good job of quality. The eye mask is very comfortable, so good that I am willing to take it away and use it on the plane. The following are the shortcomings. You can't lie because the hotel gave Seagull Suite. The opinions are raised to improve the hotel's good quality. After all, it is a favorite brand. I hope it will get better and better. The breakfast quality is good, the richness is medium, you must sit outdoors to eat to feel that you are in the magic city, it feels very good. Here are some existing problems: 1: Some guests on Ctrip said that the hot and cold water are reversed, but it is not true. It is just that the hot water takes more than one minute or even three minutes to come out. The cold water outlet is warm water, and the hot water is cold water. I thought there was no hot water, but hot water came out three minutes later. I reported it to the front desk, and they came right after I called. I think there should be a problem with the circulating water system or there is no circulating water system. 2: Local cleaning needs to be improved, and there is dust on the cabinet and cabinet glass. 3: The echo wall does not work. The hotel actually wants to improve the user experience, but the echo wall in the hotel and the speakers in the bathroom are not used. It feels like just a decoration. I can use Marshall speakers myself. If you have not used it, you may not know how to match Bluetooth. I hope the hotel will add a user guide. 4: Hardware flaws. The style of the Regent brand is destined to use some woodwork, but the overall decoration materials of Seagull are good, but the woodwork details are not visible. The white paint has a large color difference, and some paint is not in place. It cannot enhance the sense of luxury but reduces the texture. Compared with the woodwork of Hong Kong Regent, it is much worse. This is my experience. The sales of Regent on Ctrip are not very high. It may be because it is positioned at a high level and is not a high-volume hotel. Each evaluation has a great impact on the hotel, so this time I gave a serious evaluation to Seagull Regent. In summary, Seagull Regent is still a must-stay hotel in Shanghai. The experience is irreplaceable, the location is great, and the service is not bad. This time I have a very good impression of the hotel manager Kim. The service is meticulous and considerate. If you forget something in the hotel, he will help you put it in your bag. There is indeed room for improvement in the details. I will come again next time.

We had a great time! The location of the hotel is amazing - super close to The Bund within walkable distance to public transport. The staff was super kind - my friend got injured during the trip and they provided some first aid materials while we were just asking for the next pharmacy. Our room had an amazing view on Shanghai skyline and had every appliance we could wish for. It was also very clean. Would come again anytime when staying in Shanghai.

The rooms are spacious but need better cleaning and soundproofing. Noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms was quite disruptive. The design of the open-concept toilet is problematic; the drain system causes unpleasant odors, and the water basin is too close to the bed. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Ms. Wang Lou, the duty manager, who was exceptionally efficient and polite, promptly resolving all our concerns. With improvements in cleanliness and soundproofing, this hotel has the potential to offer an excellent experience for its guests.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at W Shanghai- The Bund. The highlights for us were service and attention to detail, along with the amazing brunch! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The welcome staff made sure there were no long waits for anyone checking in, even though it was holiday season. All forms of service- reception, waiters and kitchen staff, room service was impeccable during our every single interaction with them. The next day room service even refilled our ice bucket of complimentary champagne sent up to us as we were celebrating an anniversary. The view from our corner window was superb, especially at night and all the facilities in the king room were amazing to use- shower, bath, bathtub, bed (one of the most comfortable beds ever)! And to top it all off, the breakfast buffet impressed us immensely. The waiters take drink orders once you arrive and help seat you. They have signs everywhere encouraging taking only what you can eat- and we appreciated and seemed to work! However, if you come on an empty stomach- you will be so pleased you did so; the options are just endless with both a huge variety of western and local foods available and it all tastes incredible. We were super satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend it if ever you get the chance!

you get what you pay for! There’s a reason why it’s expensive! I have stayed in many super five-star hotels in Shanghai! Bulgari is indeed the best here! Details matter! Bulgari reflects it! First of all, in the first few days of our stay, Miss Vicky, the director of the guest relations department, took the initiative to contact us, added her contact information, and asked us about our check-in time, any needs, etc.! And upgraded our room type for free! The service is very considerate! After checking in on the day of check-in, he took the initiative to introduce us to the hotel and the room, and thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits, tea and desserts for us! Welcome sign, and luggage tag with our own names... The room facilities are all very high-end! Very clean! The service is also very good! Good looking, warm and friendly, they made us feel like home! Breakfast can be delivered to our room, it is delicious and unique! The gym is very large, and there are dedicated staff to provide water, towels and cut fruits! In addition, the afternoon tea is delicious! The view from the top terrace is beautiful! Finally, considering our flight, they also provided us with a late check-out for free! They gave us valuable chocolates and candies before leaving! All in all, I am very satisfied with this experience. I will come to Shanghai again during the Qingming Festival and will continue to stay at Bulgari!

Great location right in the center, a 7-minute walk from the Line 2 People's Square train station. The beds were great, and they provided complimentary water and coffee. The only issue was that the air conditioning controls were in Chinese, making it difficult to understand. However, we felt very comfortable during our one-day stay.

Excellent location, we asked for a higher room and got it. The junior suite is looking old but it is clean and we slept well. Nice bathroom. We could smell cigarette in the hallways on several occasions although it is supposed to be non smoking. No coffee in the room and a couple of teabags well hidden. Breakfast not included in the room but too expensive to get at the hotel. Nice view from the room and 2 minutes away from metro station and from pedestrian street

The hotel was nice and clean. Although the rooms are very small with little space for the luggage if you stay longer. It‘s also in a good neighborhood, with a lot of shopping malls with food courts and restaurants. There are also 2 subway station in 10min walking distance. It‘s location is central and all the sights and other good neighborhoods are nearby. There is a big construction site in front of the hotel, which is why it can be dusty. During our stay we couldn’t hear any noise. All the people in the hotel where nice and try to help, but the only big problem was that they couldn’t speak English . Especially during the paying process this was problematic.

Very bustling area with lots of interesting shops and large malls nearby. Room was a bit small but had everything I needed and was clean with a comfortable shower and bathroom. Staff was very nice and helpful, and could also speak some English. Overall enjoyed my stay and worth the price, and I'd stay here again next time! Thanks!!

HHEINZ888Arrived at the hotel at 00:35h using the 24h transit. Taxi driver didn't know how to drive to the hotel. Entered the hall and went to the (Concierge?)desk on the left. There was no one there... The hotel management should have put a noticeable sign with the text that the lobby/reception is located on the 3rd floor. I had to ask a guest where the lobby/receptiondesk was. The service at the receptiondesk was excellent. Also made a reservation for the shuttlebus to the Pudong Airport T1 (08:30h), the shuttlebus to the Pudong Airport was free of charge. The bedroom was nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent. Overall 4 stars out of 5, due to the lack of information about the lobby location.

The only things I found could've been improved or could be better with my stay we're that there was only one chair on my balcony, only one bathrobe and pair of slippers we're prepared s well. There was also a desert prepared in the room, but it was sour.

BB & T LatuKia ora, we are a couple from NZ. We stayed for one night only before going to the airport. We wished we stayed here longer as it was so dreamy and peaceful. Check in was easy and the girls were very helpful. Room was AMAZING and was a highlight of our trip. Breakfast in the morning had western and Chinese options and was delicious. The hotel provided a shuttle to the airport and this was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this hotel. One thing to note is on Trip.com it is advertised as one name and upon arrival we found it was called “Moonloo” just an fyi when needed long to find it. Location is fantastic with access to shops and dinner options.

JJuliaHotel offers huge space - u can walk here like in a bug park/forest! Delicious buffet dinner 👍 Among downsides - no walking pathes, you have to walk on the roads with the cars driving. Only near the lake and in the forest there is one path for pedestrians only. Not convenient with a child. Also, if they had an outdoor swimming pool wouldn't have been perfect.

MMatthew LimLocation: Extremely convenient. 5 mins walk from Shanghai Main Railway which made it easy for us to take trips out to Hangzhou and Wuxi. Amenities: Lawson and Family Mart just around the corner made it easy to get basic necessities. Being near the railway also gave us easy access to various food options even when it’s late. (highly recommend Yang’s Dumplings) Service: Highly satisfied with the service we received from Jius Hotel staff! We were landing in the wee hours of the morning (earlier than previously planned), hence we made a second booking so that we could catch some rest when we got to the hotel. We kindly requested if the staff could arrange it such that we could have one room for our entire stay. Not only did the staff facilitate our request, but also gave us a complimentary upgrade to 1-Room to make it happen. Room: Absolutely loved our stay at Jius Hotel. Room was huge and had a nice view of Suzhou River. A fun feature that we particularly enjoyed was how the room is smart configured, so you can close the blinds or off the lights entirely by voice control. And after a long day of exploring Shanghai, we always look forward to soaking in our very own jacuzzi. What really stood out for us was how comfortable the pillows are. This is the first time I have experienced such comfortable pillows over a hotel stay, so much so that we tried to ask the staff where the hotel got the pillows from. Overall, our stay at Jius Hotel was such a pleasant and wonderful experience. And for the given hotel rate on Trip.com, it has definitely been a steal for us. Strongly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Shanghai!
