Great location to visit the Bund, Yun Garden and City God Temple anytime. Booked the family suite room as a first timer. The room has two beds, enough space for up to 4 person and a living room. Room facing Landmark view (a sculpture). Top notch bidet toilet bowl, automatic closure and opening plus heating of the pad. Down side is the room was stuffy and hot during cold season. Heating system is centralised and the most the hotel staff can do is to provide an additional fan in the room to help with the ventilation. Presume this will the problem of most hotel who use centralised heating/cooling system. Staff is accommodating when you ask for their help. Standard of service is acceptable for me.

The overall feeling is pretty good. After all, given the price, it turns out to be some kind of hotel in Deutsche. It must have been renovated in cooperation with Huazhu? The exterior and the interior of the lobby feel quite new, and the rooms are quite big. After all, land is very valuable in Shanghai, and it is very close to the Bund. There is a ferry station across the road, a bus station at the door, double-decker buses, and the subway. The station is not very close. You still have to walk for a while to get out of Yuyuan Station. There is a little brother at the door to help carry your luggage. The room is generally okay. The bathroom feels like it's not a young hotel. The washbasin has a smell and can be yellowed, but there are no other problems. The slippers seem to be of average quality. I feel they are not in line with the hotel's positioning. The inner layer will stick 😂 The set meal for the advance tour did not include breakfast, so I didn't go to the restaurant. The service was still very warm, and baked cookies were given as a gift when I checked in. Biscuit, although the floor is high, the elevator is also very fast. Overall, I am satisfied. There is a small episode when checking out, but it is not a big problem. If there are activities and suitable prices, local dogs will still stay there again. See you again when we are destined.

We used to always love staying at the Indigo, but haven’t stayed since covid… We were disappointed as the hotel is starting to look a little tired, things need replacing, breakfast had much less choice than previously available. None the less we booked into the Micheline Char Restaurant for New Years Eve dinner with friends looking forward to a great meal and drinks to celebrate the Year … (the food was great) however at 9:30 we were told we had to leave by 10pm after such an expensive meal and wine it seems ridiculous on any night let alone New Years Eve.. The swimming pool was closed and it wasn’t mentioned until we turned up in our swimsuits to have a swim. It didn’t ruin the stay but I don’t think we’ll be rushing back..

It was perfect in every way. I was thinking about Fairmont and Waldorf and chose Waldorf. Choosing Waldorf was really the best choice. It was hard to enter and exit Fairmont because there were so many tourists. Foreigners like me definitely recommend going to Waldorf. And make sure to upgrade to the riverside view room. You can see the best view of Waitan lying down in bed. And Steven Diep! You made our trip perfect. I will not forget your service and kindness. Thank you.

Location is really great as it's literally around the corner to the Yu Garden, 2 stations away from the Oriental Pearl tower, really close to the French concessions and like a 10 min walking distance to the subway. Same goes for the bund, if you enjoy walking you'll be there in 15 minutes. Quite convenient if you're traveling. Rooms are ok and packed with what's needed for a trip, comfortable clean beds, shower with shampoo and body soap, towels, water. It's not a super fancy hotel but it does the work. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style. I'd stay here again, it's worth it.

Overall, it is a nice and comfortable hotel to stay. Except that the environment & facilites near the hotel is not so well kept and clean. I noticed there is a small red spot stained on e bathroom floor (not sure what is that, it looked likes blood stain to me). However, on e last night, it was quite warm, I think there is no access of airconditioners during winter season. Other than that, room is really huge and with impressive Oriental Pearl Tower Views! The location is perfect with Yuyuan garden & Cheng Huan Temple located behind, food amenities and shopping street. Sightseeing bus also nearby the hotel to bring me around the bund & famous attraction spots. Subway also a short walking distance from the hotel. Family mart just below only! Price worthwhile overall!

Very good hotel, service attitude is very good, the room is also very clean, but the room is a bit small, but it is very close to the Bund and Yuyuan Garden, a five-minute walk, especially suitable for traveling and living. Very enjoyable stay! We arrived early in the morning before the scheduled check-in time. Although it was fully booked that day, they have managed to keep the housekeeping process quick to allow us in for a good rest. Before we depart to airport, they even offered us bottle of mineral water to keep us hydrated. Small gestures, but great hospitality. Kudos to the receptionist team. Will definitely be my top pick in next visit.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Service was 10/10. All the staff were super friendly & helpful from the bellboy, receptionists, housekeeping, maintenance person. Breakfast was great, staff even allowed us to takeaway when one of us couldn't go down for breakfast. Free usage of the laundry room. Once we couldn't get a taxi when we were out of the hotel, I texted one of the staff to assist and he was super helpful. Special thanks to Mr Edward & Mr Chao for your excellent service. There is a small shopping mall right across the bridge that has nice restaurants with reasonable prices and delicious food. The train station is quite a distance so I had to take taxis to go places since it's winter & pretty cold. The staff doesn't speak English so be prepared if you don't speak Chinese. It was a memorable first visit to Shanghai.

The hotel is very near the metro station, YU Garden, and the Bund. The front desk officers and housekeeping were all hospitable and accommodating especially Ms. Hayley. Overall a disappointing experience for several reasons. I’m not one who usually writes negative reviews or makes lists of issues when I stay at hotels, but there were a few that were difficult to ignore: 1. I stayed on Christmas Eve because we were having the hotel’s brunch the next day. I thought I would have a nice, relaxing morning to wake up and get ready, but instead was awoken to construction work out in the hallway—drilling and hammering that were incredibly loud. Furthermore, the whole room was then filled with the STRONGEST, AWFUL smell of burning plastic that I had ever smelt. Because none of the windows in the room could open, I had to suffer through the smell and try to ready as quickly as possible…not a pleasant way to wake up! 2. The bathroom just wasn’t clean. There were urine and possible blood stains on the toilet seat and floor that I had to wipe away when I first arrived to the room. Cleaning services should do a better job to check the toilet surfaces when cleaning. 3. It’s December and the middle of a cold snap in Shanghai, but for some reason the room was unbearably hot and stuffy. I turned off the heating and even tried to turn on the cold AC but the temperature remained the same. It was difficult to sleep because of how hot and sweaty I was. The windows couldn’t be opened so I couldn’t even get a fresh breeze…

The best thing about this particular Atour Hotel is its proximity to the Bund, which is literarily a stone's throw away with a nearby Family Mart that is well-stocked with travel essentials and snacks. Nanjing Road is also within walking distance. As such, this Hotel is not the most spacious one especially if you have a bigger family, as its bedroom fits one big and one small bed just nice and its wash basin has to be in the doorway. One suggestion is to provide 3 towels instead of 2 for a family of 3. The breakfast is expectantly scrumptious with agood mix of protein and vegetables, however its coffee can be better as the current one is a bit too bland, as compared to Atour in other cities. Otherwise, the stay is ”Atourly” perfect.

After reading a few bad reviews, I have been hesitant to live, but the two children said that they like the big bathtub, so they chose this place. After living in, the children were very pleasantly surprised and very happy. I didn’t expect the room to be so big. The night view outside was very beautiful, although it was not a room on the Bund. What location is not easy to find, my daughter's customer service is still the location and pictures sent by the boss, and she quickly found the place, and the attitude is very good. If there is a problem, it will be solved immediately. We went out to play and came back to the garbage. Put it up, That is, the sound insulation of the door is perfect, the window is very soundproof, and the door has a gap. Good location, quiet in the middle of noisy. The room is very hygienic. The facilities are a bit old and the TV remote control in the living room can hardly be used. Service is uneven: room service is very good, warm and thoughtful, will take the initiative to take off shoes in and out. The front desk is quite satisfactory, and the professionalism needs to be improved. The high floors and extra bed notes in the order are directly ignored. The extra bed should include a breakfast fee for one person, but the next day was added... lowered the overall impression score.

Stayed two nights in a row! It feels good, comparable to Huazhu Hotel, and the reception staff on the fourth floor are also very attentive! The room is fully equipped and equipped with electric curtains, which is a great compliment! The location of the hotel is very good.
