Wyndham Shanghai Hongqiao Reviews

I booked it for my friend in India. It's very close to the National Convention and Exhibition Center and there is a shuttle bus. The room is comfortable and I'm very satisfied. Especially the front desk staff, Harry Li, provided enthusiastic and thoughtful service, helping us with invoicing, hailing taxis, and purchasing food. The service was very good and we were very satisfied。 我帮我印度的朋友预订的，这里离国家会展中心很近且有班车，房间舒适，我很满意。特别是前台的工作人员小李Harry，服务热情周到，帮我们开票、叫出租车、购买食物，服务非常好，让我们非常满意

The hotel was close to Honquio airport so we chose to stay here for our first night as we arrived into Shanghai late at night after flying in from Melbourne Australia. The hotel looked grand and the room was nice and big, the bathroom was gorgeous and the beds extremely comfortable. On a down side though we found the room smelt strange probably from stale smoke despite being a non smoking hotel. We had considered staying here for our entire stay in Shanghai but we were extremely pleased we decided to stay in the city centre near the bund instead as this hotel is a long way out of the city.

Positives first! The staff was wonderful. Kind and attentive, they helped me with everything I needed. They assisted in booking museum tickets and in getting directions, got the wifi fixed right away...always with a smile. The hotel and it's rooms are beautiful and we'll kept, lots of services. Surrounded by the airport, train station and major highway - but you can't hear a thing from the room! Shuttle to major places (on a schedule) and centrally located in Shanghai. Negatives. It is not near anything tourist friendly without a cab (didi), if you want to walk. The aircon in the room never got super cool, so I was warm all night (23c) which can be a negative for people who sleep 🥶. Breakfast is served but extra and a little pricy for a buffet. All in all my review is highly positive. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in slightly cooler weather to use the lovely rooftop pool and get a facial in the spa!

Room was large and comfortable, had a smell in the room. Will be good if can sterilise the room before.

Breakfast was great, and the best part of the Hotel is the rooftop swimming pool, where kids had so much fun and we could relax.

My dad said this is the best hotel he's ever been to. He said, "It's simply awesome."

Beautiful hotel with nice decor. The room was very spacious, very comfortable. We loved the swimming pool on the rooftop. The location is a little desolate, nothing much at a walking distance. You used the taxi to move about. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the hongqiao station.

One of the best and most comfortable stays in Hongqiao. Like their shuttle service to airport and railway station too.

Hotel very good, give old money vibe. But staff cannot speak english.

The family room is good. Breakfast is a lot of choices. The best is that they have shuttle service to Hongqiao airport, train station, NECC and nearby malls. This is really good for travellers.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff were polite and the rooms very lovely. My only complaint is that the pool was closed, but this was not clear on Trip.com. I would not have made the booking if I had known.

Large rooms. Close to the airport if you get in late. Very old school and the rooms are a bit dated.

The Wyndam Hotel is clean, and breakfast is also good . However, the location is far, No restaurants, supermarket surrounding the Hotel.
